Wow I had no idea......and speaking of embarassing,Chelsea drop two points at home to Southampton.........I mean I heard that some fans were planning to boycott matches until Benitez is replaced but seriously they should do this kind of thing to protest against Torres getting even one second of game time for the remainder of this season.

to be fair... thats 1 point less then was dropped against QPR :P
i read somewhere Wenger was going to be spending big on some players.

The players can feel the tension around them. If the so called chelsea fans got behind rafa from day one, chelsea would have at least 9 extra points. It's really not a coincidence that chelsea suddenly become shit at home. The hostile atmosphere is affecting the players.

I disagree, the hatred and abuse is all aimed at Rafa not the players and so the only person who is nervous and under pressure is Rafa(and Torres but he's been that way since they signed him).I believe that the sooner Torres is completely frozen out of the first team picture, the sooner our results will improve, both home and away.

At No Luck Involved, Napoli rejected a 45m pounds bid for him last month, so only in your dreams will Arsenal get him for 30.

Thankfully the bs point reduction to Napoli was undone and now we are second place with only 3 points behind Juventus, sooo close!

i know the crowd isn't abusing the players. i meant that the hostile atmosphere towards rafa at stamford bridge is affecting the chelsea players.

I've not only heard reports of the 30m bid being for Cavani, but rumours that it COULD also be for Fellaini. Which would kinda suck because I don't think Fellaini is worth 30m when Cavani is a real striker and Fellaini is just a really high attacking midfielder.

meanwhile newcastle are rumoured to have made a couple million bid for a striker. it is believed to be either danny graham or david ngog

what wonderful news

Danny graham is a very good striker

And isn't he a geordie as well? I heard he was a huge newcastle fan. You need to have at least a couple of local players in a french based team.

he's from gateshead, a city just outside of newcastle, like Carroll. in other words, we can say he's a geordie or not a geordie depending on how we feel about him at the time

southampton sack nigel adkins. sacking the man that led them to two consecutive promotions and currently has them sitting outside the relegation zone is fucking ridiculous

"ESPN understands Adkins' departure had been envisaged from the moment the club got promoted to the Premier League."

wtf kind of club does that

Basically a Football Focus program - it starts with Dan Walker interviewing Fabrice Muamba and making a mistake, then looking around and making some jokes with the camera men. Then the program (theme music and all) restarts and he does the intro and interview with Muamba again, and after he introduces the report the camera doesn't cut to the report, it's still the studio camera and again you see Dan Walker having a few jokes with the camera men and crew and Fabrice Muamba (who is the guest) (not even good or interesting jokes, just small talk really). And it finishes with the two of them saying goodbye and then looking around the studio for a while (the end credits was obviously meant to roll...)

i've just seen it on soccer memes
