Voting til Sunday! Thank you guys for the submissions

Congratulations BackAtYouBro for winning this week. The original Pokemon was Nidoqueen to give the team an electric immunity and a way to offensively pressure Primarina. Toxic Spikes were also nice for the Suicune, however all of your submissions were really good this week for acknowledging how weak it was to this Mon by even giving the team a more secure switch-in to said threat. Thank you DubFreaknakeeb for providing the team last week. I am early posting due to exams taking place for me this week, so I need to dedicate a bit more time elsewhere. I'll be back in time for the usual post next week, so I look forward to coming back to see what you guys submit ^_^

Rotom-Heat @ Wiki Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 236 HP / 24 SpA / 248 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Toxic
- Defog
"I started with Mega Aggron+Primarina, being a solid defensive core, which checks a plethora of metagame threats between the two. I then added Hydreigon for speed control, and to form a solid Steel/Dragon/Fairy core, as well as revenge kill Celebi. Nidoking is the teams groundtype and balance breaker. Finally, Rotom-Heat was added to defog and to check Moltres/Scizor a little better. It also as well forms a VoltTurn core with Hydreigon. What's My Last?"

blissey.gif

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss / Toxic
- Heal Bell

Blissey is your last, this mon helps a lot by being a cleric and a huge SpDef tank. It'll help Mega Aggron a lot by giving it healing, and being able to get rid of it's burns and any other status on the team. That'll be Blissey's main purpose on the team. It can also be your backup Celebi check aswell.

The team could use a wincon, a Z-move user, and an actual form of breaking Blissey. SD Terrak fits like a glove here, as it can also outspeed and revenge kill Molt, something that can overwhelm Rotom-H if it happens to get chipped.
Terrakion @ Rockium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Earthquake

175951

Durant @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Hone Claws
- Iron Head
- Superpower
- Rock Slide

A weird option but I think Fight-Z Durant fits this team best. For one, the team gets absolutely crushed by SD Terrakion or Cobalion if they're ever given a free turn. Durant gives the team another option for revenging them, or punishing them by coming in on the SD turn. Durant with Fight-Z also gives the team a wincon and in general another option for pressuring bulkier builds that Nidoking can struggle to handle on its own, running through many balance cores and just being able to fight back against stall with Fight-Z into Superpower being able to roll for a Quagsire KO, or flat out KO Quagsire with the combo if its chipped even just a little bit.

So first thing I noticed is that Choice Specs Primarina gets to click buttons vs this team and can come in pretty easily on Hydreigon or a -2 Rotom-H (naturally it wouldn't be keen on toxic though). Actually looking at it more in depth, any sort of powerful water move would be troublesome for this team.

I agree that a Z move sweeper would be nice for this squad. So essentially this last Pokemon is going to have to fill a lot of roles.

So I thought it's time to bring a heat pick. Something that can switch into Primarina somewhat comfortably but still break through shit and hit Blissey.

Let me present ya boi Fightinium Z Volcanion:

volcanion.gif

Volcanion @ Fightinium-Z
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 8 Atk / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Rash/Hasty Nature
- Superpower
- Steam Eruption
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
Volcanion's physical attack is often overlooked because 99% of the time you're just clicking steam eruption. But with minimal investment you have a chance to OHKO Blissey so that's pretty cool.

8 Atk Volcanion All-Out Pummeling (190 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 540-636 (75.6 - 89%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

bro you have timid and 8 defense, unless thats intended, but idts considering your calc

Congratulations Datsplashtho for winning this week. The original Pokemon was Celebi to help the team break through bulky waters while helping with the stall match up. I really like Terrakion here too, as it takes a lot of pressure off Nidoking to pressure the likes of Blissey and in general being a nice breaker. Thank you Sickist for providing the team last week! Glad to see everyone participating each week and seeing a few new faces in the thread, keep it up guys ^^

"I initially started this build with Bronzong. I added Choice Scarf Krookodile because they form a nice defensive core together - Krookodile can trap Ghost-types for Bronzong and Bronzong can switch into Fairy-types that beat Krookodile. Florges was added because the both Krookodile and Bronzong lose to Hydreigon and because they appreciate the Wish and Heal Bell support Florges provides. Naturally, the team looked weak to hazards, and Scizor, and Primarina, so Tentacruel seemed like a perfect fit. At that point, I wanted some offensive presence that could threaten Empoleon. BoltBeam Latias seemed like the perfect fit, because it lures in and beats Empoleon and provides the team with offensive presence. What's My Last?"

A better way to deal with steel types would be great here, especially Mega Lix. The team also needs a beter way to break through stall, since Blissey can just mess up the whole team in general, and then some.

NP Ape can deal with both these problems, along with having some good matchups against stall, which this team struggles with/.
infernape.gif

Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Vacuum Wave

As stated above, the team is very lacking in the stall department. The team already has some speed from latias and krook, so NP lucario could put in some more work with its higher spA stat than infernape.

Its immunity to toxic also makes it slightly better suited in this department, and has a better matchup againt some popular stall options such as altaria and nihilego thanks to its steel typing / stab. Lucario also improves the matchup generally against bulky steels too.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Vacuum Wave

hoopa.gif

Hoopa @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Magician
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

Again the stall matchup is severely lacking here so Hoopa is here to ease it up greatly. Hoopa benefits a lot from Florges passing Wishes due to its Fairy typing letting it handle Dark-types and it lets Hoopa set up Substitute much more throughout the match. Fightinium is preferred for Hoopa to bop bulky Steel-types without having to rely on accuracy.

Houndoom @ Houndoominite
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Taunt
Mediocre stall matchup? Check. Steels that can still handle Electrium Lati like Steelix also have a really good matchup here? Check. Sub Chandelure/Gengar/Hoopa look super annoying if ever given a free turn? Check. Bisharp also just kinda looks annoying? Check. No Mega slot? Check! Solution? DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. Houndoom-Mega helps with the stall matchup by giving a strong nasty plot sweeper that can also use taunt as needed against mons like Blissey, and with Florges support, it's hard for bulky teams to wear down. It also gives the team a secondary option for sub ghost mons that can eat a team like this alive with Krook looking like the sole answer. The team also has some notable struggles with Bisharp, as it could clean the team when boosted if Krook was chipped, and really has no qualms with just clicking knock freely with Florges as the best knock soaker. Houndoom makes Bisharp less inclined to knock spam and also gives the team a more solid check to it in general. Houndoom also helps the team with various steels like Lix and and the crew that can still handle an Electrium Lati. This is why I think Houndoom is the perfect choice for the team.
