Controversial takes

Speed Forme
-> A +

It can have many set variety and ev spread depending on what you need it for, as well being so fast it outspeeds the whole metagame with no speed(Excluding timid Baraskewda ). This allows you to invest it all into attacks which makes it have no real switch in and beats several top ranking mon. It also can threaten mons. It can also outspeed scarfer without having to hold a choice scarf, which only it and Ogerpon can do, and Ogerpon have to tera for it. It can even go into attack boosting natures to do this, such as outspeed +1 Excadrill and base 100 speed scarfers with attack boosting natures.

I'm too lazy to find one more game demonstrating deo-s strength but here's a replay of it just breaking the opponents team for its teammate to win https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9uu-2359122899-ubf0uu0qik9qd1jecnvwsntfo2hgu9vpw
Also 0 speed evs works, and I have had games in the top 100 where deo-s just won me the game essentially

:bellibolt: -> B
Solid Meow check, the worst Meow can do to them is banded triple axel which has a chance to 2hko if they get all six hits and a roll, and even then they're heavily risking a static para which makes Meow much easier to deal with. It doesn't have to worry about getting OHKOd by low kick or anything like that unlike Cobalion, and it still does well into a lot of the other physical attackers in the tier.
:ogerpon: -> B/B+
Largely outclassed by Meow, it can't outrun mons like Torn without tera and speed risks speed ties with other 110s like Latios. It's got a lot of the same checks as Meow, but has worse coverage to break past them. The only advantage I can see is SD and it can outrun Meow but that requires you to commit a tera.
:ogerpon-cornerstone: -> B+
Many of the same points about base Ogerpon apply here, but I find the dual stab helps it a lot so I think it's a bit better than base Ogerpon.

:Meowscarada: -> S : Half expecting this to get banned, but its pretty crazy, beats a lot of other top guys, pairs well with them, makes good progress, etc. Very versatile and has a lot of cool tricks like Spikes and Sucker Punch for some additional versatility.

:Latios: -> S- : Also pretty insane, hazard immunity while being able to hold item is very strong and it can run many more sets now, esp with the one Steel it struggled with being gone.

:Gastrodon-East: -> A- : Pretty great defensive glue on balances. Great hazard setter, checks a lot of annoying Pokemon like Heatran and Arcanine-Hisuian, and can even serve as an emergency Specs Latios check with Tera Fairy. That said, needing to rely on Sludge Bomb RNG for poison is lame, but that also can smack some Grasses for decent damage.

:Skarmory: -> A+ : Checks a lot (including the cat that is currently being sussed) and is a top tier Spikes setter. Can be a bit exploitable, but its got good teammates to cover its weaknesses. And, of course, its one of the few Pokemon that can take a Knock Off and live to tell the tale.

I find it funny that the VR never got updated the whole time Meowscarada was dominating the tier since April 1 up to its ban. One liner aside, what Pokémon get better/worse with the cat's departure?

Fun fact, this is now the 16th UU ban

For one Torn-T appreciates less triple axels being thrown its way and thus less RNG for it to deal with. (Not that it needed to be any better since the Mon is the literal tier king.)

Some nom

227.png
-> A+

Good enough to be argued for A+ because of how much it walls physically attackers as well as its utility in spikes.
Edit- it can also be prevented as set up fodder with whirlwind

911.png
-> A+
Basically just a stop to setup sweeper, and boy is there a lot of it in this tier. Also act as a emergency rapid spin blocker. This is also so popular on ladder to stop set up sweeper.
199.png
-> A+
Slow bulky pivot that may ''check'' key threats like latios, deo-s, and excadrill, but is great at grabbing momentum, while not being too passive with moves like scald and t-wave. It also have tons of usage for this reason.

Therian Forme
-> A+
This guy is really freaking strong even with just modest agility and the modest agility nasty plot set is really strong at times. If this guys had more speed, it probably could have been broken. Besides that, it can just be a scarfer, pivot, or nasty plot 3 attacks, and its typing allows it to be surprisingly bulky at times.
381.png
-> A+
Strong special attacker that can cheese its match up with luster purge. Its strong enough to plow through teams. It's very fast and its set up set could be disgustingly bulky. It's levitate ability allows it to avoid hazard which makes it a strong wall breaker. However, its still sometimes inconsistent due to its speed ties and it have to face and competition with deo-s. It can also be OHKO by knock off from deo-s with heavy physical investment so it have to watch out for that, especially after rocks.
893.png
-> A
It just lacks the usage, which is probably due to meow, and is walled by mandibuzz, skarm, and conk for the most part. Its really tera reliant on tera for a sweep, but because its still a zaruade, its still A. Its speed tier is also not the greatest since while good, its still outsped by many mons.
232.png
-> B/B+
Great rapid spinner that can beat many version of lead deo-s, and its a get out of jail card occasionally. It beats many hazard setters like excadrill, h-arc, and coba and can be annoying with its strong attack stat or knock off in general.
966.png
-> A-
One of the strongest ho setup mons and its the face of many ho teams at time. After a shift gear, it can do so much damage while outspeeding almost everything. It have to be accounted for and tiptoe around to make sure it doesn't have free setup especially if you lack a dirdge.
993.png
->B/B+
Its fast, seen on many ho team for something that can outspeed deo-s without being choice locked. It also loves to hax people at times either with dark pulse flinch or air slash flinch. Even dirdge is not a guranteed counter because of that. It can sweep teams it gets a work up or just hax you in general.
1013.png
->B/B+
One of the best spin blocker we have in this game, and can shut down key physical threats such as excadrill. To prevent if from getting flinch haxed, use a covert cloak, which would also help with the latios match up. Its ability is greats making it not have many weakness and it'd have to be accounted for in team builder, either that be do I lose to it if it gets a calm mind up, or how do I get around the hazards this guy prevents being removed. While walled by mandi and torn just beats it, its still great regardless.
282.png
->B
Strong moonblast spammer with not much steel type to resists it. It also provides great speed control for the team with modest but still getting outspeed with modest by no speed deo-s is kind of sad. But it can certainly pack a punch, and it even have focus miss for heatran. While I'm probably not going to be using focus miss as much on this mon and build team around it, others can and its a scary threat.

My previous nomination still stand so I didn't repeat it here.

I could talk about a lot of mons in this post but I want to discuss two in particular, Ogerpon. Not Cornerstone not wellspring in OU the Ogerpon and Scizor let me explain why. These two mons are the best offensive mons in the teir the top 5 mons in the teir struggle with this core of offensive. Some helpful thoughts when considering using scizor. Slap a metal coat on there, just trust me. After 1 Sd you will sweep entire teams especially if you tweak your set correctly, I run max att adament with quite a bit of speed. The idea is if your Heatran is slow boom cc in to oblivion and if its fast oger can knock and the team as a whole can beat it down, think surf lati a scarf kleavor whatever. I will start the conversation of REGULAR OGERPON to S teir in UU, yep I may not have been the first to say but I did. Spikes knock off encore swords dance DEFIANT did you guys forget how powerful that thing is at plus 2. For me the idea with Ogerpon is the same though when paired with Scizor, we are running knock spikes Ivy Cudgel and encore like real ladies and gentlemen and a meadow plate. Also plus 1 speed for free when you tera where do I sign up. Try it look at the calcs, Ill try and throw some fun ones down below and make OFFENSE great again sincerely a UU fan!
PS
Ogerpon is also I think the only mon that can get a sd boost and a speed boost without using a turn to set up correct me if I am wrong.

252+ Atk Metal Coat Technician Tera Steel Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lokix: 212-250 (74.9 - 88.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Meadow Plate Tera Grass Ogerpon-Teal-Tera Ivy Cudgel vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lokix: 152-179 (53.7 - 63.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Meadow Plate Tera Grass Ogerpon-Teal-Tera Ivy Cudgel vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Deoxys-Speed: 272-320 (112.8 - 132.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

i have a question? why isn’t lokix A+ or S rank or somewhere in between like S- rank
Pivot sets thud into common defensive mons like Skarmory, Heatran, Cobalion, and Fezandipiti while HO techs for it with stuff like Revaroom, Protect Greninja, Comfey, and BU Slither Wing. Additionally, SD sets are very boom or bust, requiring a lot to go right due to frailty, requiring Tera + Black Glasses to hit key damage thresholds, and the unreliability of Sucker Punch.
