Diddy's gun is not realistic, it's a fake. It's not truly violent, it's more of a Bebe Gun, only with peanuts. Snake's Guns are more realistic, since they include pistols, shotguns, rifles, whatever. Though explosives are violent, they aren't as bad as guns (for some reason). The developers don't Super Smash Bros. Brawl to be rated 'T'. They want SSBB to be rated 'E10+' (Note: SSBM got rated 'T' due to a little to much violence, and the lack of the E10+ rating). If it's not rated 'E10+', then they will lose a lot of sales for something that doesn't really deserve to be rated "T". Parents are actually very suggestible by the ESRB (US Ratings Board) ratings. I've actually helped random people on floors for some reason get games, and they were curious about certain games. Which they feared 'E10+' would be bad for their 8 year old. The word "Die" must be bad, huh? Managed to sell EBA though in that case.
Plus, Mr. Masahiro Sakurai had stated awhile back saying, "Snake is going to be using explosives rather than guns." Not to mention that he said that he won't be using as many violent methods as he'd carry in his other games. Well, maybe not make them as violent.

To be honest the idea of an Animal Crossing Character in Brawl really pisses me off. For the most part I really don't like Animal Crossing and if we were to have a "customizable/random" character I would honestly prefer a Mii (based off of ones saved to the Wii's Hard drive) despite them having next to nothing to use for a moveset.
I know that bias is a really shitty argument (someone may as well say "I dislike Pikmin and there's not much to work with so they shouldn't be in", it would be the same thing), I want to know what others think.

Well, what does the Mii have to work a moveset off of as well? x] I really wouldn't mind either as a character but umm...yeah. Animal Crosser has a good variety of tools such as the shovel, axe, slingshot, umbrella (Peach Parasol???), and bug net. It could plant a Pitfall or something in the ground...and although I don't like it, some have suggested that he toss furniture out of his pockets.
What does the Mii have to work with? Boxing gloves could work for melee attacks...as could the racket/club/bat. And a bowling ball maybe for a special attack...what else could it do though?

In terms of Animal Crossing characters, I hope that the "color changes" are more like "complete outfit changes". Different hats on Pikachu rock, more characters need outfit changes like that. This applies to many characters though.
Also, I don't really see Miis working as playable characters, but I would very much like to see them replace the Wire-Frames/Fighting Polygons. I know I'd make many more Miis if it meant i got to fight against them all in Super Smash.

HOLY SHIT. This is quite possibly the best idea I've ever seen for Miis' inclusion yet! They'd have a basic fighting style, no "personality", and there are likely shitloads of them on your Wii to endlessly respawn! Great fucking idea dude!
Steeler: I apologize, I probably should've been more clear. I'm not against an AC character because of their "lack of moves" because I certainly recognize that they have a shitload of stuff to fall back on, what bothers me is an AC character being anything more than an Assist Trophy. It's so hard for me to explain but it's a really ingrained dislike, haha. If an AC character makes it in though I'll probably just BAWWWW and move on.

it's basically the same as the Poke Balls from SSBM (and SSBB), the potential options run the spectrum from "crazy useful" (most of the legendaries) to "oh fuck" (Togepi).
hahaha.... I love the since of humor in this game, that assist trophy is hilarious...... It'll be great in the heat of battle :P
