Here's to hoping that Snake's final smash involves putting a cigarette out on his opponent's eye.
Wait a sec, I realised before but forgot about it. Why was there no 'WARNING: CHALLENGER APPROACHING!' tag before it? I mean, we all knew he was going to be in the game but he is a new character and all =\
But yeah Snake looks pretty cool, and his recovery move looks really really useful.
Oh, of course this song will be played on a stage with a Metal Gear Solid motif. So you can look forward to that, too.

I don't really know my MGS. Anyone care to guess what this stage might be?
Watch this video and you will see Snakes stage at around 1:20 for a split second, which happens to be Shadow Moses which is from Metal Gear Solid (1). Shadow Moses is a remote island located in Alaska and the location of the game (MGS1).Official site said:

Sonuis, problem here is that he said Snake would be unlockable but he revealed him. I'm assuming it's because he already revealed him in the trailer so there was no point in keeping it "hidden".
That sounds like a lie. Source please, with link.

Summary said:#251-260: Sakurai will make Snake (and all other guest, i.e. 3rd party, characters) into an unlockable character. Sakurai will also eventually reveal all the secret characters (most likely what he did when melee was released: give details on a single starting character every week until release, then after release, give details on one secret character every week until they've all been done).
Exact Translation said:Sakurai in response to an email asking that everything be unlocked as a default = "Well... that is a tough question. As long as the internet exists, all secrets will be revealed quickly. Sometimes even before the game comes out, even. Secret characters are one of the fun parts of Smash. Although you don't want to find out until the very end, I guess [literally: 'after all,' so there is no doubt in this statement] I'll reveal them. Again, just like "Smash fist" [literally: 'Sumabura ken,' the name of the Japanese SSBM site?] I can't just hold these characters back. "
The rest isn't too important. Except the last sentence. Sakurai says that having Snake as a hidden character rather than be part of the starting line-up is more fitting for a guest character.
Yeah...personally I'd like to know HOW to unlock everything but not knowing WHAT exactly I'd be unlocking.
However, it seems to me that most, if not all of the characters (excluding Snake) seem to fit as characters available when you first boot the game up. But maybe that's just me.
Nintendo Power said:Nintendo Power brings you the first hands-on preview of the Wii game every Nintendo fan has been aching to play-Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Let the havoc begin!
I kinda wish I worked for Nintendo Power right now. O: But I doubt they'll give us any new info at all.
I don't understand what you all mean as "secret characters," "unrevealed characters," and "already unlocked characters." What does this mean by like.. a list of being revealed?
With that said, Snake looks awesome in this game and I can't wait to use him. I want to see more Zelda/Sheik info though!
