While some people may have the tools to increase their count by other means, currently the best method to obtain more apricorn balls in Gen 8 is via Anubis' giveaway here. Follow the instructions as listed - I believe the names for balls are listed under the "all items except TR" tab.

This isn't a Simple Request and I'd be fine waiting until I can borrow my sister's DS to try and get it myself, but if anyone is looking for a weird Gen 3 RNG project, I'm looking for a Level 45 Luxury Ball Shedinja that knows Baton Pass, String Shot, Toxic, and Confide (I can teach the last two if you give it to me in Gen 7.) and has some weird IVs. Nature doesn't matter because of Mints, but I'm going to use a Sassy Mint if you want to go for the Nature I want anyway. The IVs I'm looking for are 0-2 Speed and a Defense IV low enough to make Defense lower than Special Defense with a Sassy Nature and no IVs at Level 45 because of the Ability Download. The offensive stats don't matter because I'll never use them and HP doesn't because it's Shedinja. (Honestly, all that really matters is the Level and Speed IV. The rest is for the style points from using a Pokemon with no EVs.)

PLA question here, not sure how relevant it is to wifi forum but here you go.
On PLA the pokemon have natures, I've captured darkrai and it was a Relaxed nature, and I thought hmm Relaxed is poor.
I saved my game prior to the Darkrai encounter to test a theory about resetting and getting different natures, however 10 times in a row of resets it still shows as Relaxed nature aftwr capturing
Same with Shaymin, I saved before encounter and it kept giving me Quirky which is awful too.
I get that in PLA it isn't that important in this game, but I'm a bit of an OCD person so just wanted decent natured ones. Pointless I know, unless somehow in future these mons can be transferred to other games. And again, I am aware mints are a thing too
Are the natures set prior to the encounter, perhaps when you accept the mission? Or is it just a coincidence that I get the same natures repeatedly?

It's not just the same Nature, it's the same everything. It's set to encounter but will change if you leave the map then come back again.
BTW, some people prefer Neutral Natures now because they aren't confused by any healing berries like the Figy or Mago Berries, even after you change them to the right nature with Mints. That doesn't matter very often, but it may come up because of Trick.

No thread, but I have this list. (I didn't copy/paste it before because I was hoping no one would make me go back pages to find it.) It doesn't include breeds from Pokemon I asked for, but I did just breed Calm Luxury Rotom and Calm Repeat Ball Torkoal today.
