Pet Mod Regional Evolutions (Concluded for Generation 8)

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to include the Unovan Duskull line because Comickull’s BST isn’t the same as Dusknoir’s and you missed Dusclops altogether. If you fix that, I’ll add it to the voting list. (Please fix it, I am begging you, I want it to win.)
Wow I am blind and misread the second five in Dusknoir's BST as a zero  and missing Dusclops altogether was intentional at first, bc (A) I thought it would be funnier for sans to skip an evo stage and (B) I was worried Eviolite could make Dusclops broken with its new gimmick. I didn't realize it went against the rules until I read over them just now. Both of these have now been fixed though!

Zingbat's line is indeed supposed to be Unovan, alephgalactus, not Alolan. Shows how tired I was yesterday when I was putting the finishing touches on everything. That's fixed now.

Given that creeperguy270 is presumably still working on their entry, I'll wait until tomorrow to vote and just fill my votes in here. I just wanted to address the Zingbat mistake given that I wasn't sure if you would see that if I tagged you in the edit, alephgalactus; I doubt edits notifiy people, so just erring on the side of caution.

[Insert votes here unless computer has yet more issues, in which case insert "whomp whomp" or Smash's "Failure" sound effect.]

Regardless, have a good weekend everyone.

2022/04/09 EDIT: Since the Hisuian Dratini line isn't happening, here are my votes:

Public Service Announcement

I tested positive since yesterday from the C-Virus. While I do not feels awfully bad, I need to slow down with work, so I won’t be able to update the spreadsheet. I give permission for transwiththeplans for capacity to edit the spreadsheet if needed.

In meanwhile, take care of yourself. I still participate in another Pet Mod (Generation X) and perhaps a few other Pet Mods, but don’t expect Regional Evolutions to move on next slate until the spreadsheet is fully updated.

Hope you’re doing OK! I’ll try to do some updates to the spreadsheet after work.

The final act of the trilogy. Not all endings ends with a bang. But this one will be the simplest!

Kalosian Purrloin
Type:
Electric/Fighting
Stats: 31/60/37/40/37/76 (281) (-10 HP, +10 Atk, -10 SpA, +10 Spe)
Abilities: Iron Fist, Iron Legs (HA: Technician)
Iron Legs - Iron Fist clone. 1.2x power to kick moves used by this Pokémon.

Blaze Kick, Jump Kick, High Jump Kick, Double Kick, Triple Kick, Rolling Kick, Mega Kick, Stomp, High Horsepower, Low Kick, Low Sweep, Triple Axel, Trop Kick, Thunderous Kick, Frost Kick
New Moves: Spark, Thunder Punch, Thunder Shock, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Wild Charge, Volt Switch, Jump Kick, Double Kick, Stomp, Low Kick, Low Sweep, Karate Chop, Brick Break, Drain Punch, Mach Punch, Cross Chop, Dynamic Punch, Power-Up Punch, Bulk Up, Detect, Mat Block, Force Palm
Removed Moves: Torment, Sand Attack, Assurance, Sucker Punch, Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, Fake Tears, Foul Play, Gunk Shot, Payback, Shadow Ball, Snarl, Taunt, Thief, Trick, Lash Out, Embargo, Feint Attack, Knock Off, Pursuit, Snatch, Spite, Swagger
Flavor/Design: Kalosian Purrloin is bipedal and has yellow fur with black markings. Its waist is slightly thinner than its Unovan counterpart’s, with a white stripe around it reminiscent of a white belt. It has bandages wrapped around its torso, its tail, and the paws on its arms. Its tail has a lightning-bolt shape at the end. It is always in a fighting stance, slightly crouched with fists raised and at the ready. Purrloin from Kalos live in alleyways and on the streets of big cities. Because they were brought to Kalos domesticated and established a foothold in the wild later, the Purrloin of Kalos have no inclination towards theft or trickery, instead learning to fight for their food and survival. It builds up static electricity using its fur and discharges it into an opponent’s body when it strikes them. The more bandages a Kalosian Purrloin has wrapped around its body, the more respect it gains from its peers.
Kalosian Liepard
Type:
Electric/Fighting
Stats: 54/108/50/68/50/116 (446) (-10 HP, +20 Atk, -20 SpA, +10 Spe)
Abilities: Iron Fist, Iron Legs (HA: Technician)
New Moves: Close Combat, High Jump Kick, Rolling Kick, Triple Kick, Triple Axel, Mega Kick, High Horsepower, Kalosian Purrloin’s moves
Removed Moves: Torment, Sand Attack, Assurance, Sucker Punch, Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, Fake Tears, Foul Play, Gunk Shot, Payback, Shadow Ball, Snarl, Taunt, Thief, Trick, Lash Out, Embargo, Feint Attack, Knock Off, Pursuit, Snatch, Spite, Swagger, Throat Chop
Flavor/Design: Kalosian Liepard also stands on two legs like its pre-evolution, unlike its Unovan counterpart. The purple-and-yellow coloration of its counterpart is replaced with a yellow-and-black coloration. Its tail is similarly shaped to its pre-evolution’s, but completely wrapped in bandages. Its torso, front paws, and legs are also wrapped in bandages. Its paws are larger than its Unovan counterpart’s and are used for powerful punching and kicking strikes. Its whiskers are shaped like lightning bolts, and electricity occasionally crackles between them. A red band of fur around its waist gives the appearance of a red belt. It is crouched in a fighting stance similar to its pre-evolution. Kalosian Liepard has mastered usage of all four of its paws in combat and even uses its tail like a fifth limb, propping itself up on its tail to deliver devastating high-voltage double-legged kicks. The techniques used by this Pokémon are studied by martial artists, and many have even been incorporated into various schools of martial arts.
Savaparde
Type:
Electric/Fighting
Stats: 64/128/57/78/57/136 (520) (+10 HP, +20 Atk, +7 Def, +10 SpA, +7 SpD, +20 Spe)
Abilities: Iron Fist, Iron Legs (HA: Technician)
New Moves: Circle Throw, Blaze Kick, Frost Kick, Trop Kick, Volt Tackle, Thunderous Kick, Kalosian Liepard’s moves
Height/Weight: 1.9 m, 100.0 kg (6’03”, 220.5 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Savaparde is tall and both lithe and muscular, with a yellow-and-black leopard pattern on its fur. It has bandages wrapped around its tail, which is shaped similarly to its pre-evolutions’, and around its torso, legs, front paws and ears. Its ears are longer than those of its pre-evolution, and it has lightning-bolt patterns on its face. Its claws are always fully extended and have electricity coursing through them. The stripe around its waist is black and has five gold vertical stripes near each of Savaparde’s hips. Its legs are particularly muscular, and its feet are colored black and resemble boots. It stands in a fighting stance similar to its pre-evolutions. Savaparde is a master of all kinds of martial arts and takes down opponents using powerful punches, kicks, and slashes that are too fast for the human eye to even follow. Despite its lithe appearance and speed, it’s quite heavy, allowing it to stand its ground against opponents and put more weight behind its strikes. It’s often seen at tournaments brawling against opponents like Infernape, Mienshao and Machamp. Its feet are calloused from years of intense training, making them hard as iron and able to deliver truly devastating kicks.
Competitive: Savaparde’s blistering 136 base Speed allows it to outspeed most of the unboosted meta, and its base 128 Attack allows it to be an effective wallbreaker or late-game cleaner. Its unique Electric/Fighting typing makes it a horrific opponent to try and switch into, and it carries Ice coverage in the form of either an Iron Legs-boosted Frost Kick at 102 power or a Technician-boosted Triple Axel with a terrifying 180 power, giving it unresisted coverage (bar Shedinja) in three moves. Iron Legs is also useful for boosting Thunderous Kick for powerful STAB that scores easy 2HKOs and makes it even harder to switch into than usual because of the guaranteed Defense drop. Volt Tackle is, of course, devastatingly powerful even with the drawback of its massive recoil. Since it’s got perfect coverage in only three moves, Savaparde can feel free to go wild with its last slot. U-Turn for Choice Band sets, Drain Punch for Life Orb sets because that recoil REALLY adds up when Volt Tackle’s involved, High Horsepower, Play Rough, Bulk Up, Hone Claws, Trop Kick, Blaze Kick, just go crazy with it. Savaparde is, if it wasn’t already obvious, a great fit on hyper offense teams, occupying a somewhat similar ecological niche to Mega Lopunny. Unfortunately, as good as its STABs are, they both have a lot of viable and common resists or immunities, making it a very risky prediction-based game to run Choice Band. Since all of Savaparde’s good moves are contact, Life Orb sets are very easily worn down by Rocky Helmet and even more easily by Iron Barbs Rocky Helmet Ferrothorn, who can switch into Volt Tackle and deal over 40% to Life Orb sets without even clicking a move. Savaparde is also very frail and will be swiftly dispatched by anything faster than itself (it can use Fake Out + Mach Punch to try and stave off the bitter end, but you have to give up two moveslots for that and most viable things naturally faster than it are Ghost-types), and even resisted priority moves will deal good amounts of damage. It also can’t switch into... well, anything, so it’s kind of pigeonholed into the role of revenge killer without Teleport or slow VoltTurn support.
This line is based on mixed martial arts, most prominently the French sport of savate, a kickboxing sport that has had heavy influence over martial arts in general; it played a large part in Bruce Lee’s development of Jeet Kune Do, introduced the roundhouse kick to karate, and was vital in the foundation of MMA as a sport. The sport is named thus because its practitioners wear specially designed boots, which Savaparde’s feet are designed to resemble. The fabric wrapped around the paws of every member of the line is reminiscent of hand wraps used by Muay Thai fighters to protect their hands from damage, and the “belts” should be fairly self-explanatory. I was originally going to give the line Reckless instead of Technician to boost Volt Tackle and High Jump Kick, but I figured Volt Tackle is strong enough as-is and the extra power boost would push it over the top.
New subs:
:ss/chinchou:
Ultra Chinchou
Type:
Electric/Normal
Stats: 53/37/37/83/53/67 (330) (swapped HP and SpA, -3 HP, -1 Atk, -1 Def, +8 SpA, -3 SpD)
Abilities: Volt Absorb, Illuminate (HA: Motor Drive)
New Moves: Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Morning Sun, Mirror Shot, Flash Cannon, Electrify, Light Screen, Mirror Coat, Magic Coat, Psybeam, Psywave, Will-o-Wisp
Removed Moves: Water Gun, Bubble Beam, Aqua Ring, Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Brine, Dive, Hail, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Rain Dance, Scald, Surf, Waterfall, Whirlpool, Mist, Soak, Water Pulse, Bubble, Hidden Power
Flavor/Design: Ultra Chinchou’s body is a muted light gray, and its bottom fins have become feet which it uses to traverse along land. The bulbs at the end of its antennae vaguely resemble will-o’-the-wisps and float in the air rather than drooping downwards. One of its antennae carries a positive charge, while the other carries a negative one. When threatened, it equalizes the charge between the two to create a bolt of lightning, which it then hurls at its opponent. In populated areas of Ultra Space, tales of ghost stories, mysterious glowing orbs, and will-o’-the-wisps can all be attributed to this Pokémon, which flashes the lights on its antennae to communicate with others of its kind. They are intelligent enough to understand very basic language and learn Morse code, allowing trained Ultra Chinchou to communicate with humans as well.
Ultra Lanturn
Type:
Electric/Normal
Stats: 61/59/59/127/71/83 (460) (swapped HP and SpA, -15 HP, +1 Atk, +1 Def, +2 SpA, -5 SpD, +7 Spe)
Abilities: Solar Power, Illuminate (HA: Motor Drive)
New Moves: Ember, Flame Burst, Heat Wave, Ultra Chinchou’s moves
Removed Moves: Water Gun, Bubble Beam, Aqua Ring, Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Brine, Dive, Hail, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Rain Dance, Scald, Surf, Waterfall, Whirlpool, Mist, Soak, Water Pulse, Bubble, Aqua Tail, Hidden Power
Flavor/Design: Ultra Lanturn retains the gray color of its pre-evolution, as well as the wisp-like appearances of the bulbs on its head. It retains the bottom fins of its pre-evolution, being able to walk on land. It has black patches on its back resembling solar panels, which it uses to photosynthesize due to a lack of prey in Ultra Space. If it needs to, it can also use its own light to photosynthesize, though there is energy loss from this process because the energy from the photosynthesis powers its light, so it can’t do so forever. They can use their lights to communicate from hundreds of miles away. Due to their intelligence and ability to learn complex language, they’re often used by humans in Ultra Space for long-distance communication, as radio interference is common, preventing most modern methods of quick communication across long distances.
Yportne
Type:
Electric/Fire
Stats: 67/89/59/149/109/97 (570) (+6 HP, +30 Atk, +22 SpA, +38 SpD, +14 Spe)
Abilities: Solar Power, Free Energy (HA: Galvanize)
Free Energy - Fairy Aura clone. All Pokémon on the field have a 1.33x boost to Electric moves. (Not reversed by Aura Break—not that it matters since Zygarde’s Ground-type anyway.)

New Moves: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Fire Bomb, Overheat, Self-Destruct, Explosion, EM Pulse, Ball Lightning, Thunderstorm, Crackling Flame, Ion Cannon, Gamma-Ray Burst, Ultra Lanturn’s moves
Gamma-Ray Burst - Electric, special. Flare Blitz clone. User takes ⅓ of damage dealt as recoil. 10% chance to poison target.
Height/Weight: 2.8 m, 130.0 kg (9’02”, 286.6 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Yportne only vaguely resembles its pre-evolution. Its main body is roughly spherical and suffused with light, levitating above the ground; its skin is bright white and luminescent. The only parts of its body that can be seen clearly are its two glowing yellow eyes. It has one antenna, resembling the Wardenclyffe Tower, sticking up from its main body mass, that constantly crackles with arcs of electricity. This antenna emits a brilliant white light from the top of it; it’s not known exactly what is producing this light because it’s impossible to look at without going blind, but it’s presumed to be some sort of bulb similar to its pre-evolutions. Yportne has evolved a method of photosynthesizing efficiently enough to produce a net gain of energy from its own light, allowing it to effectively produce an infinite amount of energy. It can only barely control its energy output, making it extremely dangerous to be around due to the amount of heat, electric current, and even radiation surrounding it at all times. The light it produces can become so bright that it can shine through a wall of solid lead as though it were glass, so closing your eyes or even turning your head the other way won’t prevent you from blindness in the presence of Yportne if it chooses to exercise its full power. It has to constantly focus to bring its energy levels down to the point where it doesn’t instantly boil anything near it. If it loses its focus, its energy creates a positive feedback loop with itself, causing its energy output to increase exponentially; left unchecked in this state, it will eventually produce enough energy in one place to collapse into an extremely charged black hole whose event horizon will then disappear, causing the laws of physics to start breaking down in whatever dimension it occupies. For this reason, Yportne is almost nonexistent in the wild; the few that evolve seek out human help and voluntarily have themselves placed into generators that use their perpetually generated energy to power entire planets’ worth of populations at once.
Competitive: Yportne is an insanely powerful special wallbreaker, with base 149 Sp. Atk and Free Energy boosting its Electric moves even further. Its typing is terrifying offensively, hitting a huge amount of things super-effectively. Gamma-Ray Burst in particular is a very scary attack; on a Specs set with Free Energy, it can 2HKO Blissey in Electric Terrain, though at the cost of Yportne’s own life. Solar Power sets can also be used on sun teams alongside Yportne’s powerful Fire STAB and Solar Beam, which allows it to blast through Ground-types that otherwise check it. Yportne sits in an awkward Speed tier that falls just shy of pretty much every revenge killer and has miserable physical bulk, so it can be revenge-killed very easily, unless it’s running Choice Scarf as a revenge killer of its own; however, this forces it to sacrifice breaking power from Specs or Life Orb. Despite its access to Morning Sun, Yportne can rarely justify running it over something else, so its longevity is usually very limited, especially Life Orb Solar Power sets, which take the full brunt of Stealth Rock and Gamma-Ray Burst recoil as well. Heavy-Duty Boots can be run on it, but will limit Yportne’s power by a frankly unacceptable amount. Faster Electric-types with good physical STAB can actually beat Yportne at its own game thanks to Free Energy boosting their attacks as well, potentially allowing them to KO it even through its resistance; most notably, Zeraora can safely come in on any of Yportne’s Electric attacks, and Tapu Koko sets up Electric Terrain, boosting its Wild Charge even further. Non-Solar Beam sets, or Solar Beam sets outside of the sun, are walled by Water/Ground types due to lacking any viable options against them, even Hidden Power.
I dunno, I just saw “Electric/Fire” and wanted to make a perpetual motion machine. The Chinchou and Lanturn forms are just kind of stepping stones to Yportne (which, if you haven’t figured it out by now, is “entropy” backwards—it can both literally and figuratively reverse entropy). I originally gave Drought to Yportne but I figured that would be way too strong.
:ss/golett:
Orrean Golett
Type:
Normal/Steel
Stats: 59/50/74/35/50/35 (303) (swapped Atk and Def)
Abilities: Iron Fist, Heavy Metal (HA: Martial Artist)
Martial Artist - Steelworker clone. 1.5x boost to Fighting attacks used by this Pokémon.

New Moves: Headbutt, Head Smash, Tackle, Take Down, Double-Edge, Body Slam, Circle Throw, Storm Throw, Submission, Force Palm, Vital Throw, Iron Head, Sky Uppercut, Cross Chop, Steel Beam
Removed Moves: Astonish, Shadow Punch, Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Phantom Force, Dig, Earth Power, Ally Switch, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Psychic, Poltergeist, Scorching Sands, Double Team, Flash, Gravity, Magic Coat, Shock Wave, Signal Beam, Telekinesis
Flavor/Design: Orrean Golett is gunmetal gray with red plating on its arms and legs, and its eyes glow red instead of yellow. The general shape of its body is the same as its Unovan counterpart’s, but made of smooth metal instead of roughly-shaped clay. The spiral on its chest is replaced with a glass panel, showing an internal view of the rotating gears inside its body. After the second fall of Cipher, a few splinter groups still persisted in Orre. While most of these were stomped out quickly by police, one still remained: the Sons of Cipher, led by former Cipher admin Ardos. They worked in secret to develop technology to weaponize Pokémon, while also fomenting general discord in Orre and causing distrust in its new fledgling government. One of the Pokémon they chose to weaponize was Golett. They replaced the clay in its body with reinforced steel and used its mysterious power source to operate clockwork systems and metal gears inside its body, making it sturdier and more efficient than before. It has an encyclopedic knowledge of close-quarters combat techniques downloaded into its newly-electronic brain.
Orrean Golurk
Type:
Normal/Steel
Stats: 89/90/124/55/75/50 (483) (swapped Atk and Def, +10 Atk, -5 SpD, -5 Spe)
Abilities: Iron Fist, Heavy Metal (HA: Martial Artist)
New Moves: Bulk Up, Bullet Punch, Meteor Mash, Jump Kick, High Jump Kick, Outrage, Orrean Golett’s moves
Removed Moves: Astonish, Shadow Punch, Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Phantom Force, Dig, Earth Power, Ally Switch, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Psychic, Poltergeist, Scorching Sands, Double Team, Flash, Gravity, Magic Coat, Shock Wave, Signal Beam, Telekinesis, Charge Beam, Fly, Solar Beam, Thunderbolt, Trick
Flavor/Design: Orrean Golurk maintains the gunmetal-gray color and red eyes of its pre-evolution, as well as the red plating on its limbs and the glass plate on its chest allowing a view of its clockwork insides. Its body shape, like its pre-evolution’s, is smoother than its counterpart’s, and the spirals on its arms are replaced with glowing red diamond shapes. The evolution of Orrean Golett was a huge success for the Sons of Cipher. Orrean Golurk’s capabilities in battle and the ability to mass-produce it allowed the Sons of Cipher to create and secretly operate a private military company once the protests it stirred up against the Orrean government sparked all-out civil war. It supplied its modified Golett and Golurk, among other weaponized Pokémon, to both sides during the war, as well as to other private military companies and defense contractors, incurring massive profits.
Golmech
Type:
Normal/Steel
Stats: 130/110/165/55/80/30 (570) (+41 HP, +20 Atk, +41 Def, +5 SpD, -20 Spe)
Abilities: Iron Fist, Nanomachines (HA: Martial Artist)
Nanomachines - Motor Drive clone. +1 Defense when hit by a Fighting move; Fighting immunity.

New Moves: Counter, Autotomize, Forging Pounds, Orrean Golurk’s moves
Height/Weight: 3.2 m, 420.0 kg (10’06”, 925.9 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Golmech is even sturdier and more well-built than its pre-evolution. It maintains the same color scheme, armor plating, glowing red eyes, and diamond patterns on its arms, but the glass panel on its chest is gone, replaced with another glowing red diamond; the thick steel armor covering its upper body resembles an extremely muscular human torso. The bands on its arms and legs are now a dark gray and ringed with spikes. What were once the thin parts of Golurk’s arms and legs have now become longer and as thick as the rest of its limbs, causing its arms and legs to appear muscular as well. It can fire its fists at its opponents like rockets. Golmech’s body is inhabited by a swarm of nanomachines, which harden in response to physical trauma, acting as shock absorbers. The practical result of this is that Golmech is nearly undefeatable in hand-to-hand combat. Golmech is also extremely intelligent thanks to the advanced processors inside its electronic brain. Only a few of these Pokémon were evolved by the Sons of Cipher, to be used as personal bodyguards for the organization’s leaders. However, they underestimated Golmech’s advanced machine-learning capabilities, and eventually they all became intelligent enough to question their orders. Using their ability to communicate electronically with each other, they coordinated a mass takeover of the Sons of Cipher via the simultaneous assassination of all its leaders, then disbanded the organization, causing the civil war in Orre to grind to a halt. It’s unknown what happened to them after that, but there are rumors that a rogue Golmech is attempting to restart the war for an unknown reason.
Competitive: Golmech is the epitome of a physical tank. Massive physical bulk and decent special bulk allow it to come in on just about anything, and access to recovery in Drain Punch lets it do so basically as many times as it wants. Its high Attack and access to good coverage in Earthquake, the elemental punches, and pretty much any Fighting-type move you can name let it do a good job of cleaning up foes, especially if you’re running Bulk Up (or, on Trick Room teams, Curse). Normal/Steel with Nanomachines is a fantastic defensive typing—it’s basically Steel but with an extra Ghost immunity and its most common weakness removed, leaving Golmech as one of a single-digit number of Pokémon that can switch into the combo of Ghost and Fighting. To Golmech, Marshadow might as well be a marshmallow. But Marshadow isn’t in this meta, so back to the discussion at hand. Golmech’s sky-high Defense isn’t just good for bulk, it can also be used offensively, with a very strong Body Press that can be given pseudo-STAB with Martial Artist or (more likely) boosted with Nanomachines. Golmech can also use Curse and Gyro Ball for Trick Room teams. One of Golmech’s main weaknesses is that it checks off a lot of the same boxes for a team that Melmetal does without having Melmetal’s wallbreaking power, which gives it stiff competition as a Steel-type physical tank. It’s also incredibly slow, which forces it to eat hits it doesn’t like eating. Its only viable method of recovery is Drain Punch, which it doesn’t always have room to run thanks to Body Press being significantly stronger, so it can be whittled down over time. Its special bulk is far less than its physical bulk, so strong super-effective hits from Pokémon like Metatrog, Crowceror and Blacephalon also scare it; Blacephalon can also comfortably come in on Golmech’s STABs and Fighting coverage, which can be a pretty big problem for those sets that carry only those and a setup move. Lastly, though somewhat of a niche pick, Mega Ampharos can clock Golmech with a Focus Blast even with Nanomachines, leaving Golmech with little options besides making a risky Earthquake prediction on switch-in or just praying for a miss.
NANOMACHINES, SON.
:ss/skitty:
Orrean Skitty
Type:
Ground/Fairy
Stats: 50/35/45/45/35/50 (260) (swapped Atk and SpA)
Abilities: Shield Dust, Sand Veil (HA: Sand Rush)
New Moves: Sandstorm, Shore Up, Sand-Attack, Sand Tomb, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, Scorching Sands, Baby-Doll Eyes, Dazzling Gleam, Fairy Wind, Draining Kiss
Removed Moves: Blizzard, Charge Beam, Ice Beam, Rain Dance, Solar Beam, Sunny Day, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Wild Charge, Icy Wind, Shock Wave, Water Pulse
Flavor/Design: Orrean Skitty’s fur is tan and spiky instead of pink. The three balls on its tail are replaced with cone-like protrusions. It can camouflage itself well in the deserts of Orre, so it’s very rarely seen. Until recently, it was thought to only be an urban legend.
Orrean Delcatty
Type:
Ground/Fairy
Stats: 70/55/65/65/55/90 (400) (swapped Atk and SpA)
Abilities: Shield Dust, Sand Veil (HA: Sand Rush)
New Moves: Earthquake, Earth Power, Moonblast, Muddy Water, Psychic, Orrean Skitty’s moves
Removed Moves: Blizzard, Charge Beam, Ice Beam, Rain Dance, Solar Beam, Sunny Day, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Wild Charge, Icy Wind, Shock Wave, Water Pulse
Flavor/Design: The fur that is purple on Hoennian Delcatty is tan on Orrean Delcatty, appearing spiky and unkempt. Other changes are minimal. This evolutionary line only recently diverged from the Skitty and Delcatty brought to Orre by settlers from Hoenn. Its fur is charged with static that attracts dust, which it uses to whip up a dust cloud around itself to hide from predators. Unique among feline Pokémon, it has an entirely vegetarian diet, feeding mainly on cacti and underbrush.

Stats: 90/55/95/105/75/110 (530) (+20 HP, +30 Def, +40 SpA, +20 SpD, +20 Spe)
Abilities: Shield Dust, Sand Veil (HA: Sand Stream)
New Moves: Spikes, U-Turn, Taunt, Nasty Plot, Switcheroo, Sand Blast, Orrean Delcatty’s moves
Sand Blast - Ground, special. Rising Voltage clone. Power doubles in sand.
Height/Weight: 1.3 m, 54.5 kg (4’03”, 120.2 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Mewrage’s build resembles a panther’s, with tan and unkempt fur patterns similar to its pre-evolution’s, and cream-colored fur with a spotted pattern over the rest of its body. Its tail is long and tipped with a protrusion more like Orrean Skitty’s, with three cone-like structures at the end. It can control sand freely, whipping up clouds of sand around itself. Due to the constant sandstorms surrounding it, its habitat in the desert, and its good natural camouflage, it was thought to only be a mirage until it was recently rediscovered during the ongoing rewilding of the Orre region.
Competitive: Mewrage is an excellent lead, with access to both Spikes and Stealth Rock, weather setup in Sand Stream, and a fast U-Turn to pivot into whatever wants to abuse said sand. If you’d rather make it a Calm Mind setup sweeper, its good defensive typing and respectable physical bulk are bolstered by a sand-boosted Shore Up, and Calm Mind patches up its lackluster special bulk. Taunt is also good for lead sets to prevent opponents from setting their own hazards or removing yours with Defog. Scorching Sands is very useful for its burn chance, and Muddy Water is also a decent coverage move with a potent secondary effect. Sand Blast should be used on setup sets, as it reaches 140 power in sand and can take out most things that don’t resist it at +1 or +2. Despite its strong STAB and good offensive typing, Mewrage’s Special Attack leaves much to be desired, desperately needing a boost before it can start dishing out good amounts of damage. It lacks options against Pokémon that resist its STABs, especially Steel/Flying types and Rotom-Heat, which force Mewrage to run Muddy Water on setup sets if it doesn’t want to be beaten by them, but that prevents Mewrage from running dual STAB + setup + Shore Up, which is its main offensive set. Hazard-setting leads are of course beaten by anything that runs Magic Bounce. Faster Pokémon with super-effective special moves, such as Fujisei, Frogjolnir, Crowceror and both forms of Greninja, outspeed and overwhelm Mewrage easily.
Originally I had a Normal/Fairy Delcatty evolution planned, but I decided to pivot to a unique typing during the development of this slate. I also wanted to make a Pokémon with both Sand Stream and Shore Up, just to see what it would be like, so I combined the two. And for the record, “Mewrage” is pronounced like “mirage”, not like “rage”. It’s not angry.

Galarian Crabrawler
Type:
Rock/Fighting
Stats: 47/82/67/32/47/63 (338) (+10 Def, -10 SpA)
Abilities: Tough Claws, Solid Rock (HA: Mold Breaker)
New Moves: Rock Throw, Stealth Rock, Rock Blast, Sandstorm, Smack Down
Removed Moves: Bubble, Bubble Beam, Frost Breath, Rain Dance, Scald
Flavor/Design: Galarian Crabrawler is brown rather than purple, with dark brown claws and markings rather than blue ones. Its claws are longer than its Alolan counterpart’s and have a much stronger grip. Its back is adorned with rocks, which it collects and uses as armor. Its claws have shells on them in a similar pattern to brass knuckles. Its shell is less sturdy than its Alolan counterpart’s, so it collects rocks and puts them on its back as armor. When it has to fight from a distance, it pulls rocks from its back and chucks them at opponents. It hunts bird Pokémon by knocking them out of the sky with well-thrown rocks. The shells on its claws concentrate the force of its punches into a smaller area, allowing it to inflict devastating damage.
Galarian Crabominable
Type:
Rock/Fighting
Stats: 97/132/87/52/67/43 (478) (+10 Def, -10 SpA)
Abilities: Tough Claws, Solid Rock (HA: Mold Breaker)
New Moves: Stone Hammer, Cross Chop, Knock Off, Galarian Crabrawler’s moves
Stone Hammer - Rock, physical. Ice Hammer clone. -1 Speed to user. Makes contact. Punching move.
Removed Moves: Bubble, Bubble Beam, Frost Breath, Rain Dance, Scald, Avalanche, Blizzard, Hail, Ice Beam, Ice Hammer, Icy Wind
Flavor/Design: Galarian Crabominable is covered in rocks instead of white fur, with dark-brown markings instead of purple ones and dark gray instead of blue. It still has shells on its claws, though instead of bivalve-like shells, it sports cone-shaped mollusk-like shells, which are much sharper and more dangerous. The tuft of hair on its head is replaced with a helmet-like shell with curved horns protruding from it. Galarian Crabominable has a jagged rock formation beneath its jaw and around its mouth resembling a beard. It was brought to Galar by the same seafaring tribes that introduced Galarian Meowth to the region long ago. This ancient culture highly prized Galarian Crabominable for its hardiness and fighting prowess, and would often bring it along when they pillaged and raided small towns.
Cragnarok
Type:
Rock/Fighting
Stats: 107/152/117/62/77/23 (538) (+10 HP, +20 Atk, +30 Def, +10 SpA, +10 SpD, -20 Spe)
Abilities: Tough Claws, Solid Rock (HA: Mold Breaker)
New Moves: Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Sucker Punch, Outrage, Thrash, Berserker Fury, Galarian Crabominable’s moves
Berserker Fury - Fighting, physical. Outrage clone. User is locked into the move for 2-3 turns, then becomes confused. Makes contact.
Height/Weight: 2.0 m, 230.0 kg (6’07”, 507.1 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Cragnarok’s body is longer compared to its pre-evolutions, more resembling that of a lobster than a crab. Its claws are also longer and lobster-like, encrusted with sharp shells. It is covered with an assortment of rocks, shells, barnacles, and algae that resembles Viking armor, and a helmet-like shell sporting curved horns over its head. It sports a beard similar to its pre-evolution’s, but also featuring seaweed fashioned into braids. Cragnarok fashions crude boats out of wood, sailing across the seas to pillage independently of the human tribes that it once called home. It commands a crew of Galarian Crabominable and the occasional Perrserker. Though it is land-dwelling, it spends so long at sea that its body becomes encrusted with barnacles and algae. When it flies into a rage, its claws have enough power to split a mountain in two with one mighty punch.
Competitive: Cragnarok is blessed with a sky-high Attack and nearly unresisted STAB, giving it precious few switch-ins. Its excellent physical bulk lets it eat multiple physical hits and threaten out most physical non-wallbreakers and more than a few wallbreakers as well. Choice Band and Tough Claws boost Cragnarok’s power to nuclear levels, with Stone Hammer making even Buzzwole think twice about switching in. It gets good coverage as well, with Tough Claws-boosted elemental punches and Sucker Punch as well as good old reliable Earthquake. Berserker Fury is a niche pick for Choice Band sets, as it provides the power of Close Combat or Superpower without jeopardizing Cragnarok’s defenses, but it’s very risky to trap it in for two or three turns. Cragnarok can find a place on Trick Room teams, with Stone Hammer making it a downright scary sweeper thanks to the constant Speed drops. However, outside of Trick Room, Cragnarok is incredibly slow, resulting in it being outsped by pretty much anything that can switch into it. Its defensive typing is pretty bad and its special bulk isn’t great, leading to very few switch-in opportunities, especially if Steel Spikes are up and it’s not carrying Boots. Aegislash resists Rock, is immune to Fighting, is tanky enough to come in on most coverage moves, can drop Cragnarok’s Attack with King’s Shield, outspeeds it, and does significant damage with Sacred Sword, Iron Head or Flash Cannon. Secutopus can similarly come in on Rock moves and scare it out.
The design with the armor came first, although it wasn’t Viking armor until later. I couldn’t think of a name for the final evolution, but then “Cragnarok” struck me like a bolt out of the blue. It’s one of the more clever names I’ve come up with, getting across that it’s a Rock-type, a crab, and a Viking all in one. So I slapped a beard and a horned helmet onto the design, rewrote the flavor from the bottom up to make sense with its new theming, and there we have it.

Galarian Frillish (Male)
Type:
Ice/Poison
Stats: 55/40/50/85/65/40 (335) (swapped Def and Spe, swapped SpA and SpD)
Abilities: Ice Body, Heatproof (HA: Serene Grace)
New Moves: Powder Snow, Aurora Beam, Haze, Frost Breath, Sheer Cold, Ice Shard, Icicle Spear, Poison Jab, Sludge, Gastro Acid, Clear Smog, Toxic Spikes, Venoshock
Removed Moves: Water Gun, Night Shade, Water Pulse, Brine, Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump, Destiny Bond, Water Spout, Dive, Dark Pulse, Imprison, Psychic, Scald, Surf, Trick Room, Waterfall, Will-o-Wisp, Poltergeist, Bubble Beam, Confuse Ray, Pain Split, Bubble, Dream Eater, Magic Coat, Ominous Wind, Spite, Shock Wave
Flavor/Design: Male Galarian Frillish is a translucent ice-blue, almost white color, with ice crystals floating around it. It floats through the air in the Crown Tundra, often being mistaken for a cloud due to the freezing mist it produces. Occasionally, it will lock onto a person or Pokémon and descend, wrapping its poisonous tentacles around them and sapping their heat.
Galarian Jellicent (Male)
Type:
Ice/Poison
Stats: 80/60/60/105/85/90 (480) (swapped Def with Spe, swapped SpA with SpD, -20 HP, +20 Spe)
Abilities: Ice Body, Heatproof (HA: Serene Grace)
New Moves:
Aurora Veil, Freeze-Dry, Weather Ball, Galarian Frillish-Male’s moves
Removed Moves: Water Gun, Night Shade, Water Pulse, Brine, Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump, Destiny Bond, Water Spout, Dive, Dark Pulse, Imprison, Psychic, Scald, Surf, Trick Room, Waterfall, Will-o-Wisp, Poltergeist, Bubble Beam, Confuse Ray, Pain Split, Bubble, Dream Eater, Magic Coat, Ominous Wind, Spite, Shock Wave, Muddy Water
Flavor/Design: Male Galarian Jellicent is a translucent ice-blue with ice crystals floating around it similar to its pre-evolution. It has icicles hanging off of its tentacles and main body, and it is always surrounded by mist, as it lowers the ambient temperature wherever it goes. It drifts through the sky, riding on air currents. It has no natural predators, so it carries itself with an air of royalty.
Hydrice
Type:
Ice/Poison
Stats: 90/65/55/125/105/110 (550) (+10 HP, +5 Atk, -5 Def, +20 SpA, +20 SpD, +20 Spe)
Abilities: Clear Body, Heatproof (HA: Serene Grace)
New Moves: Icy Sting, Bite, Crunch, Ice Fang, Poison Fang, Galarian Jellicent-Male’s moves
Icy Sting - Ice, special. Tri Attack clone. 20% chance to either poison, paralyze, or freeze the target.
Height/Weight: 3.5 m, 260.0 kg (11’06”, 573.2 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Hydrice’s color scheme and general body shape are similar to its pre-evolutions. Its large, spherical body has many tentacles protruding from it, with several wrapped around it in a way that resembles a royal’s cape. It also has a crown of ice crystals on top of its head, and the “mustache” from its pre-evolution is larger and bushier, with a beard to match. Icicles hang from its tentacles and body. Beneath its “cape” are tentacles that resemble snakes’ heads, complete with mouths filled with venomous fangs. When one of these tentacles is cut off, two grow back in its place. Hydrice is a brutal tyrant of a Pokémon, using the bite from its venomous fangs and its toxic tentacles to impose its will over any Pokémon weaker than it. Those that fail it become its food.
Competitive: Hydrice’s good offensive typing, high Special Attack and great Speed tier make it a great special cleaner. Though its defensive typing is kind of awful and requires it to hold Heavy-Duty Boots to switch in, access to Recover and good special bulk let it switch into a surprising variety of attacks. Serene Grace is excellent on it, giving Ice Beam and Freeze-Dry 20% freeze chances, Sludge Bomb a 60% poison chance, and Icy Sting a 40% chance to inflict a status condition. All this status spreading opens the door for Hex and possibly Venoshock if you so desire. As for recovery, Hydrice can use Recover if you prioritize stability and reliability, but Strength Sap can neuter physical attackers, helping to patch up Hydrice’s terrible Defense. Hydrice’s main weaknesses have already been mentioned here—its terrible defensive typing forces it to run Heavy-Duty Boots unless it wants to take massive damage from Stealth Rocks and Steel Spikes and limits its switch-in opportunities, and it’s extremely physically fragile. It also has no setup and little coverage outside its STAB, with no real way outside of Hidden Power to hit Steel-types, so it struggles against specially bulky Pokémon. Scizor is the mortal enemy of Hydrice, coming in on everything bar Hidden Power Fire and clocking it with a powerful Bullet Punch.
Galarian Frillish (Female)
Type:
Electric/Poison
Stats: 55/40/65/50/85/40 (335) (swapped Def and SpA)
Abilities: Static, Levitate (HA: Queenly Majesty)
New Moves: Thunder Wave, Charge, Eerie Impulse, Thunderbolt, Thunder Shock, Thunder, Charge Beam, Nuzzle, Spark, Electroweb, Parabolic Charge, Volt Switch, Poison Jab, Sludge, Gastro Acid, Clear Smog, Toxic Spikes, Venoshock
Removed Moves: Water Gun, Night Shade, Water Pulse, Brine, Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump, Destiny Bond, Water Spout, Dive, Dark Pulse, Imprison, Psychic, Scald, Surf, Trick Room, Waterfall, Will-o-Wisp, Poltergeist, Bubble Beam, Confuse Ray, Pain Split, Bubble, Dream Eater, Magic Coat, Ominous Wind, Spite, Hail, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Mist
Flavor/Design: Female Galarian Frillish is a bright yellow color with dark gray tentacles that, while still being frilly like its Unovan counterpart’s, somewhat resemble power cables. Electricity and venom course through its tentacles in equal measure, making them extremely painful to the touch. It drifts through the waters of the Isle of Armor, draining the static electricity from any living thing unfortunate enough to be in its path.
Galarian Jellicent (Female)
Type:
Electric/Poison
Stats: 100/60/85/70/105/60 (480) (swapped Def and SpA)
Abilities: Static, Levitate (HA: Queenly Majesty)
New Moves: Electric Terrain, Discharge, Galarian Frillish-Female’s moves
Removed Moves: Water Gun, Night Shade, Water Pulse, Brine, Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump, Destiny Bond, Water Spout, Dive, Dark Pulse, Imprison, Psychic, Scald, Surf, Trick Room, Waterfall, Will-o-Wisp, Poltergeist, Bubble Beam, Confuse Ray, Pain Split, Bubble, Dream Eater, Magic Coat, Ominous Wind, Spite, Hail, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Mist, Muddy Water
Flavor/Design: Female Galarian Jellicent retains the coloration of its pre-evolution, with still more tentacles resembling power cables. Some of these tentacles have two-pronged plugs at the end, which it uses to stab into the flesh of its prey and deliver a lethal dose of electricity and venom. Its tentacles can cause paralysis with simply a touch.
Medushock
Type:
Electric/Poison
Stats: 120/60/90/95/115/70 (550) (+20 HP, +5 Def, +25 SpA, +10 SpD, +10 Spe)
Abilities: Merciless, Levitate (HA: Queenly Majesty)
New Moves: Shocking Sting, Petrify, Glare, Bite, Crunch, Thunder Fang, Poison Fang, Galarian Jellicent-Female’s moves
Shocking Sting - Electric, special. Tri Attack clone. 20% chance to either poison, paralyze, or burn the target.
Petrify - Rock, status. Soak clone. Changes target’s type to Rock.

Height/Weight: 3.5 m, 260.0 kg (11’06”, 573.2 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Medushock’s overall body shape is somewhat similar to Hydrice’s, though its colors are the same as its pre-evolution’s. Its tentacles billow out below it like a dress, and the “collar” of its pre-evolution now resembles a full-blown Elizabethan-era ruff collar. From below its “dress” emerge tentacles resembling snakes’ heads, complete with venomous fangs that resemble electrical plugs. A single glare from Medushock can paralyze a victim. It boasts an extremely potent toxin which causes its victims’ body tissue to calcify, essentially turning them to stone.
Competitive: With its excellent mixed bulk, eight resistances, and Levitate giving it only a single weakness to Psychic, Medushock is an amazing defensive pivot and mixed wall. Discharge or Glare can be used for Speed control, and Toxic can cripple opposing walls and wear down the opponent’s team over time. Reliable recovery in the form of Recover or Strength Sap massively improves Medushock’s longevity, and its access to Volt Switch lets it sponge a hit and pivot into whatever you want. You can also carry Energy Ball to hit Ground-types and annoy former Pokémon Online moderators. Medushock’s most glaring weakness is its inability to dish out damage as well as it takes it, leaving it as setup bait for many Pokémon that resist its STAB combination and either don’t mind getting statused or actively enjoy it. Mold Breaker Excadrill also destroys Medushock, being able to switch into anything it can possibly do and OHKO with Earthquake.
Jellicent always felt like a Poison-type to me already, honestly. I mean, it’s pretty obvious that the line was a rip-off of Tentacool because most of Unova’s designs are just “bootleg Kanto”, but it seems like Ghost was an odd decision for the line. Jellyfish stings are described by some as feeling like electric shocks, and are often portrayed as such in popular media (notably, Spongebob Squarepants and Super Mario Bros. both feature this), so I originally had the entire line being Electric/Poison, with the male line focused on offense and the female line focused on defense, but I couldn’t think of a way to theme the male one around the Hydra (and real-life hydras, which are closely related to jellyfish) and give it a name that made sense, and Ice/Poison was just calling to me, so I just kind of went with it.

Flavor/Design: Dewpider exposed to the Distortion World have taken on a thick, pressurized helmet of silk to keep themselves safe from the strange gravity and non-Euclidean space. Araquanid's helmet has become even larger, and is now somewhat bulky and unwieldy. Upon evolution into Quasarach, its space suit becomes sleeker, with rocket boosters letting it move about much faster and slam its durable shield into its opponents.

Pokémon: Johtonian Finneon
New Typing:
electric.gif
/
fighting.gif

New Abilities: Swift Swim/Storm Drain (Hidden: Dazzling)
New Stats: 49/49/56/49/61/66 (unchanged)
New Moves: Charge, Charge Beam, Discharge, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Aura Sphere, Coaching, Focus Blast
Removed Moves: None
Flavor/Design: Johtonian Finneon adapted to the harsh waters of western Johto by developing stronger muscles in its fins and tail. This additional development also channels energy to its body that converts into electricity, which it uses to paralyze its prey.

Pokémon: Johtonian Lumineon
New Typing:
electric.gif
/
fighting.gif

New Abilities: Swift Swim/Storm Drain (Hidden: Dazzling)
New Stats: 69/54/71/84/81/101 (-15 Attack, -5 Defense, +15 Sp. Atk, -5 Sp. Def, +10 Speed)
New Moves: Charge, Charge Beam, Discharge, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Aura Sphere, Coaching, Focus Blast
Removed Moves: None
Flavor/Design: Johtonian Lumineon has developed such powerful pectoral muscles and energy that it can swim through a whirlpool without getting tired. A single hit from one of its fins is enough to KO a Starmie, which Johtonian Lumineon loves to eat afterwards.

Pokémon: Regalleon
New Typing:
electric.gif
/
fighting.gif

New Abilities: Swift Swim/Storm Drain (Hidden: Dazzling)
New Stats: 79/64/86/109/96/121 (Total: 555)
New Moves: Fin Impact (Fighting-type clone of Photon Geyser), Quiver Dance
Flavor/Design: Regalleon evolves from a male Johtonian Lumineon who has such an overwhelming amount of electricity in its body that it needs to evolve in order to contain it. Its electricity and powerful fins defend it against anything it meets in the water, so Regalleon has no natural predators and has been dubbed the "king of the ocean".

Pokémon: Hoennian Igglybuff
New Typing:
normal.gif
/
rock.gif

New Abilities: Cute Charm/Defiant (Hidden: Friend Guard)
New Stats: 90/40/20/30/15/15 (Swapped Attack and Sp. Atk, swapped Defense and Sp. Def)
New Moves: Power Gem, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Sandstorm
Removed Moves: Disarming Voice, Draining Kiss, Misty Terrain, Sweet Kiss
Flavor/Design: Hoennian Igglybuff became a Rock-type from overexposure to the otherworldly elements in Meteor Falls. Its body is much harder, and therefore less bouncy than that of a regular Igglybuff.

Pokémon: Hoennian Jigglypuff
New Typing:
normal.gif
/
rock.gif

New Abilities: Cute Charm/Defiant (Hidden: Friend Guard)
New Stats: 115/45/25/45/20/20 (Swapped Defense and Sp. Def)
New Moves: Power Gem, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Sandstorm, Stone Edge
Removed Moves: Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Draining Kiss, Misty Explosion, Misty Terrain, Sweet Kiss
Flavor/Design: Living deep in Meteor Falls caused Hoennian Jigglypuff to develop a more muscular and jagged body. Its singing voice is about an octave lower than a regular Jigglypuff's and has an unorthodox tone to it.

Pokémon: Cragglyruff
New Typing:
normal.gif
/
rock.gif

New Abilities: Intimidate/Defiant (Hidden: Huge Power)
New Stats: 140/85/50/70/45/45 (Swapped Attack and Sp. Atk, swapped Defense and Sp. Def)
New Moves: Power Gem, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Sandstorm, Stone Edge
Removed Moves: Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Draining Kiss, Misty Explosion, Misty Terrain, Sweet Kiss
Flavor/Design: Cragglyruff has a rock-hard body and abrasive personality, making it extremely unpopular in comparison to Wigglytuff in other regions. Instead of inflating itself, Cragglyruff prefers to hurl itself like a rock when angry, and can easily shatter a human's bones when it does.

Flavor/Design: I have this weird fear of bugs randomly appearing from the shadows. Especially centipedes. Imagine this giant, unfurled dark looking Whirlipede that's absolutely MASSIVE.

Also, the 'Vantapede' name came because I recently rewatched MHA S5 with a friend. God, the quirks in that show are so creative.
