Hi there Smogon. Here's an idea for a cartridge team that I've been wanting to build for a while utilising Mega Garchomp. After some thought, it turned into a Sandstorm team. Comments and constructive criticism are appreciated!
Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock (Will that work for Sand Stream? I'm not sure.)
Sand Stream
Naughty (+Atk, -Sp.Def)
252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def
Pursuit
Dragon Tail
Stone Edge
Stealth Rock
A reasonably simple lead set. SR is obvious. Pursuit for those who are forced out by T-tar's presence. Dragon Tail for shuffling, and Stone Edge for a good STAB.
Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Sturdy
Impish (+Def, -Sp.Atk)
252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp.Def
Roost
Whirlwind
Brave Bird
Defog
Skarmory is my Physical Wall. I love it. Roost to heal off residual damage from walling the Physical attacks, Whirlwind to prevent setup sweepers setting up, Brave Bird so that it's not complete Taunt bait, and Defog because I don't have a Rapid Spinner. And the Rocky Helmet is so the Physical sweepers get damaged when they attack.
Lapras @ Assault Vest
Water Absorb
Modest (+Sp.Atk/-Atk)
4 HP, 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Sp.Def
Hyro Pump
Thunderbolt
Freeze Dry
Ice Shard
Lapras is both my Special Wall and Special Attacker. And he's great at both. He has the infamous BoltBeam combination in Thunderbolt and Freeze Dry which is also good.
Sylveon @ Leftovers
Pixilate
Calm (+Sp.Def, -Atk)
252 HP, 16 Sp. Atk, 240 Sp. Def
Hyper Voice
Wish
Protect
Heal Bell
Sylveon fills the role of Cleric on my team. So, Wish, Heal Bell, Protect to let Sylveon take the Wish if needed, and Hyper Voice, has been chosen to help offset the damage from Sandstorm
Lucario @ Life Orb
Justified
Adamant (+Atk/-Sp.Atk)
252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Spe
Close Combat
Swords Dance
Extreme Speed
Iron Tail
OK, so a good Setup Physical Sweeper here. Nothing particularly surprising. Close Combat for a good STAB, SD (after this everything gets near enough OHKOed), Extreme Speed for priority, and Iron Tail to hit Fairies.
Mega Garchomp @ Garchompite
Sand Force
Naughty (+Atk/-Sp. Def)
252 Atk, 16 Sp.Atk, 240 Spe
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Fire Blast
Stone Edge
Mega Garchomp is an interesting Pokémon. When it Mega Evolves, it sacrifices 10 BP in Speed for more bulk and attacking capabilities. Now people don't seem to value it as much as regular Garchomp. Particularly the people at Serebii. Anyways, I think that Mega Chomp is an amazing late-game wallbreaker. He just has the raw power to demolish an opposing team at the end of the game. His moves and EVs are simply picked to allow him to do this. I considered swapping Stone Edge with Swords Dance, but eventually decided that Mega Chomp already has enough Attack. SD would be a little overkill.
