Pokemon Pronunciations

I usually default to whatever (classical) Latin does for its pronunciation when I'm unsure, due to it actually having rules unlike English. There's one result of this that I've yet to see someone else use:

Eye-gis(hard)-lash

Just gonna cover some of the controversial ones:
Gyarados: ɡærədoʊs (the way wikipedia intended)
Arceus: I switch between the two, though I tend to say arse-e-us when I'm talking more casually.
Porygon2 and Porygon-Z: Pee-2, Pee-zed
Mew: μ
Hitmonchan: ɡɑː(r)bɪdʒ

you know, like a gyre

Here's a short list of official pronunciations, that are wrong in my book.

...

sep-tile (Sceptile) (skep-tile)

all of these I agree with except Sceptile, I don't pronounce the c

Shoutout to Wolfe Glick saying "to-jeh-kiss" and "cinder-ach-ay"

Also in Japanese the emphasis in "Pokémon" is on the e (and in other languages too, the diacritic indicates where emphasis is) but I still pronounce it with the emphasis on o

fair-ro-thorn (Ferrothorn)

tie-ran-it-tar (Tyranitar), easiest one available

tor-chic (Torchic) also a very easy one

These aren't that hard to get right but I've been seeing people often pronounce Articuno (arc-tic-uno).

Drag-on-it-ay.

As said on one of his reaction videos.
