I'd say that logs should be sent to experienced LC players who sign up and are willing to read logs and look for possible illegal combinations. i wouldn't want bender to have to do all of it himself. I'd read some of the log to check for any illegal combinations but i do agree that there should be some kind of list telling people what they are or at least putting this in the OP and warning people that if they use illegal combinations then they will be disqualified. i guess in the case of both of them having illegal combinations then they would just have a rematch.

Thanks for the link that will save me the trouble of trying to word it myself but I was going to include it in start of round 1 in bolded letters to make sure no one misses it.
 
I would HIGHLY recommend you read up on what's been going on in the LCF and update the original post. The article on site is horribly out of date and Item Clause has been voted against by every player on the site.

the problem with the poll as I see it is that most of the people saying "no experience in LC but whatever I'll play" are voting if they want item clause or not. IMO, this is very bad because most of them have not tried to make a team yet, and when they do, they will see how hard it is to make an effective little cup team when only using one of each item. this will be especially hard if they decide to use the analysis since there are only 6 items regularly used.

magmortified and I were discussing last night how hard it is to make certain teams with out using an item more than once. like my sandstorm team uses three oran berries and is completely unusable with the three on those certain pokes, my other items are varied, one sash, one orb, and one scarf. with item clause on your taking a bunch of play styles and making them unsuable.

@gorm: anyone with a team full of focus sashes is absolutely idiotic. stealth rock is just as present in LC as it is in standard.
 
Seconding Alive. I was totally going to mention it too. People are like "no I don't want everything to run focus sash" when SR exists and is prominent in Little Cup. Even worse I hear people saying "I don't want 6 things of leftovers". lolwut? Leftovers sucks.

The Item Clause was first "implemented" by the OP of a year-old thread with no consensus just because Item Clause was the popular thing back then. It's not like Item Clause is something that benefits LC in particular.

So yeah, I also don't like the idea of a vote here.

Look the vote is in favor of no item clause anyways.
 
DougJustDoug's server offers LC battles, there's also a LC tab on the smogon server.

By the way, was I skipped for any particular reason? I don't see my name on the pairings, but I see people that signed up after me...lol.
