How strong are you?

They should have some up for the lower body. :\ Girls (well, generally...) are always owned in upper-body strength. *sigh*

I keep falling somewhere between Novice and Intermediate. Which sucks because I've just started going to the gym again and I'm realizing how much muscle I've lost.

why did you become so obsessed with strength? you went from being puny to being a beefhead, did you have an epiphany? just out of curiosity sweetheart

anita you're right, my arms are useless but i can lift a rather large man with my legs

I didn't even need to follow that link to aswer you that I'm beyond untrained. My build is pathetic.

Well Im very small [5ft4] so I figured it would be a good idea to get ''big'' and strong [stronger than I was when I started out]

lol I am definitely untrained I really don't exercise I am just really skinny ;(

that site is kind of dumb though they are like "lol if you can't lift this much you cannot live a quality sedentary life"

That's pretty easy for those of us who don't weigh much.

Power cleans are sadly the exception. I hate those and they hate me. Roughly intermediate for all, except untrained for power cleans.

I got novice for all but the bench press, where I got intermediate, because I've been working out with the bench press machine recently, so I feel accomplished lol.

i scored novice in everything other than squats which i got advanced in by 3 lbs. weird thing is i don't lift weights, my only work out is cardiovascular and exercisess that involve my bodyweight (push ups, sit ups etc), i just went to our schools weight room to see where i stood on this scale.

I think I'd be novice according to what I can lift. I would probably be intermediate if I have been training. Tennis doesn't require too much brute force to play well (ignore roddick and sampras and you'll see that it isn't all about power!) so I don't really pay attention to it much.

hard to tell, I dont have enough weight at home on my small bench thing to be sure :[ lol

I'll get back to you on that

Theres the squats

I hate doing those too, I weigh 165lbs and I think Id hit intermediate [180lbs] but I never do these. As for everything else Im hitting advanced except for deadlifts, Im still in between intermediate and advanced because I just started these 2 months ago.

Novice. I've actually been lifting with pretty good consistency over the past year and a half, and have made great gains. This is counteracted by the fact that I've never been very strong, and have always been tall and skinny. I have put on 25 lbs of muscle(mostly) in the past year and a half, so that has been nice. You guys probably don't care, but right now I'm 6'3" and ~193 lbs. That's still pretty skinny, but I used to be 6'2" and ~168 lbs when I started training in January of '06.

Im just naturally strong. Im like 5ft.7 and dont work out at all. Just football is my exercise and getting up early in the morning =/

At school in PE/Games w/e we used to do a class called weights obv. And then spent lessons seing who could lift the most. I think i got around 65K. Meh comparing to the teacher its awful.

But yeah not tried this yet.
