Wither.png
Wither – Official Minecraft Wiki

Pokémon
: Wither
Franchise/Origin: Minecraft
Type:
Ghost
Dark

Regional Variation: None
Ability: Withering Heights - When below half health, changes from its Levitating Horror its Grounded Terror form.
Notable moves: Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Giga Drain, Explosion, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Wither Skull
Signature move: Wither Skull (100 BP | Ghost | 100% Accuracy | User regenerates half of the damage done, 75% if the attack KOed.)
Stats (Levitating Horror): 150/112/60/112/60/148 (593)
Stats (Grounded Terror): 150/54/148/55/112/74 (593)
Reasoning: Starting with the type. Ghost/Dark is because it is summoned with withering burnt skulls and sand containing the souls of the lost found on the banks of the lava oceans, as well as it being a Spooky Scary Skeleton. Its ability reflects the name of the achievement for spawning the wither and the wither's shield thing that is super annoying as someone who plays bedrock cuz it has a charge attack in that mode that means if you come close to it you are pretty much dead but it becomes immune to projectiles... Its movepool is mostly things you would expect from a ghost-dark type, as well as draining moves like how it attacks, explosion representing its birth and death, fire moves because of its relation to the nether, and wither skull being its main attack in minecraft.
There is already a winning Wither submission. I would know, because I made it.

Since it's apparently her birthday.....

Pokémon: Athena Asamiya
Franchise: Psycho Soldier
Type:

Ability: Forewarn
Moves: Super Psychic Throw, Psychic, Psyshock, Extrasensory, Future Sight, Mirror Coat, Zen Headbutt, Psycho Cut, Brave Bird, Drill Peck, Acrobatics, Air Slash, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Brick Break, Thunderbolt, Electro Ball, Power Gem, Flamethrower, Signal Beam, X-Scissor, Night Slash, Hyper Voice, Psionic Charge (see Psylocke), Teleport, Light Screen, Reflect, Recover, Roost

Super Psychic Throw |

|
Special.png
| 60 BP | 16 PP | 90% | Has -6 priority. Switches out the target.
Psycho Medley |

|
Physical.png
| 12 BP | Z-Move. Requires Zen Headbutt and Asamium-Z. Hits 13 times.

Athena can transform into Phoenix Athena using a Green Egg, which works like a Mega Stone.

Pokémon: Phoenix Athena
Type:
Psychic.png
Flying.png

Ability: Pressure
Stats: 69 HP/100 Atk/60 Def/150 SpA/150 SpD/110 Spe (639 BST)

Reasoning: Athena is the Psychic-Powered Idol. She has a lot of psychic abilities and attacks, including telekinesis, teleportation, barriers, and healing. Super Psychic Throw is a telekinetic throw attack, and Psycho Medley is a powerful 13 hit attack. She has a sword item, and she can also produce lightning. Using a Green Egg, Athena can turn into a powerful phoenix that breathes fire.

Pokémon: Ravager
Franchise/Origin: Minecraft
Type: Normal, Fighting
Regional Variation:
Ability
: Intimidate, Guts, Rock Head
Notable moves: Head Smash, Head Charge, Confuse Ray, Crunch, Roar, Close Combat, Body Press, Body Slam, Superpower, Double Edge, Beastly Ram
Signature move: Beastly Ram (130 BP | Normal | 90% Accuracy | 30% to flinch, but will lose 1/4 of health and confuses the user if it misses or is blocked.)
G-Max Move, Z-Move, Mega Evolution, etc: None
Stats: 100/140/90/75/60/85 (550)
Reasoning: Honestly, the Ravager isn't evil or deserving of the dark type, just grumpy. I think most of the moves I put in the movepool are relatively self-explanatory, but Confuse Ray is because "If you take a cow, make it angry, and strap a crossbow-happy Pillager to its back, what do you get? You get a very confused cow." Right from the Meet the Ravager page.
Item: Smash Ball
Franchise: Super Smash Bros
Effect: Allows the user to use any Z-Move, but can only be used once and can be knocked.
Fling: 70 BP

Mei - Overwatch Wiki

"Our world is worth fighting for."
Pokémon: Mei
Franchise/Origin: Overwatch
Type: Ice
Ability: Snow Cloak / Snow Warning
Notable moves: Blizzard, Ice Beam, Ice Punch, Ice Shard, Icicle Crash, Icicle Spear, Dazzling Gleam, Disable, Hail, Flash Cannon, etc.
Signature move: Cryostasis:
ice.gif
/ Status / 5 PP / The user enters a state of cryostasis, freezing themselves in a block of ice. The user will heal 15% of their max health each turn, but will not be able to attack. This attack will last for three turns, and the user will take half damage from all attacks.
Stats: 75 / 60 / 85 / 112 / 80 / 70 = 482 BST

Reasoning: Mei was a leading climatologist, and she created many cutting-edge technologies in the field of climate manipulation. When her watchpoint in Antarctica was hit with a devastating polar storm, Mei and her colleagues entered cryostasis as they waited for help to arrive. However, that help never arrived, and Mei was the sole survivor. Now a part of Overwatch, she (pisses everyone off) freezes the competition with her Endothermic Blaster and her robot friend Snowball. In-game, Mei can create blizzards easily, hence Snow Warning and Blizzard. Cryostasis is one of Mei's abilities in Overwatch, and it freezes her in a block of ice and heals her. She takes no damage normally, but I think that would be a bit broken in Pokemon.
Characters – Rivals of Aether

Pokémon: Etalus
Franchise/Origin: Rivals of Aether
Type: Ice / Fighting
Ability: Battle Armor / Big Pecks / Slush Rush
Notable moves: Ice Punch, Ice Fang, Focus Punch, Ice Beam, Power-Up Punch, Icicle Crash, Night Slash, Crunch, Surf, Waterfall, etc.
Signature move: Ice Breaker:
ice.gif
/ Physical / 120 BP / 100% Acc. / 15 PP / Has 33% recoil.
Stats: 80 / 120 / 75 / 65 / 70 / 50 = 460 BST

Reasoning: Etalus is a polar bear fighter (hence his typing) in Rivals of Aether. He has a strong connection to ice, using it in most of his special attacks. For his neutral special, he wields a hammer. The slow start of the attack and the power makes me think of a clone of Wood Hammer. He is one of the game's few "heavyweights," so I made him slower. However, Etalus's dash attack moves very fast if there is ice on the battlefield, so I gave him Slush Rush as an ability.

Items:

Isn't Ice Hammer an existing move? To be fair it was an forgettable Hammer Arm clone that never appeared in the anime.

95 bp, 95% acc, 5-8 pp, Pulse-based, Bypasses and breaks Substitutes
Signature Move Details: Bypasses and removes Substitutes. Ignores type-based immunities of all active Pokémon. User cannot move next turn.
Signature Move Description: Cosmo unleashes an inescapable pulse
Flavorful Justification: Mewtwo's a Psychic cat. Mew's a Psychic cat. Espurr's a Psychic cat. Meowstic are Psychic cats. Espeon's a Psychic… creature-thing? Cosmo's a Psychic dog. For all the Dog Pokémon Psychic cat Pokémon out there, there are no obviously Psychic dog Pokémon.
Competitive Justification: Cosmo's a lover, not a fighter. That's why he's got most of the supportive Status moves; he uses his power to protect in ways no other dog could. He's more understanding than… well, I could go on. Anyway, he is quite capable of fighting, though, and does not hold back when necessary, even against allies. Thus, being a skilled telekineticist, he can use many moves commonly accessible to most Psychic types.
(WIP, will edit further later)
This character debuted in a comic book rather than a video game, therefore belongs in Expanded after its voting phase.

Now, on to my contributions.

an-ice-machine-png.316267

Pokémon: An Ice Machine
Type: Steel/Ice
Ability: Heatproof / Aftermath / Heavy Metal
Moves: Heavy Slam (450 kg), Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Frost Breath, Earthquake, Body Slam, Self-Destruct, Hydro Pump, Hurricane, Weather Ball, Shift Gear, Hail, Rain Dance
Stats: 140/91/105/126/70/42 | 574 BST
Reasoning: This is the seventh boss of the game and takes seven hits to destroy, so its base stats are all multiples of seven. Steel/Ice goes without saying. It gets Heatproof as any self-respecting ice machine would, Aftermath (and Self-Destruct) due to the explosion after its defeat, and Heavy Metal because it has the weight to stay planted on the ground for the whole battle.
Speaking of battle, it enters the scene in a ground-shaking manner and attacks with ice cubes, water jets, and icicles. It gets Shift Gear because the chain on its side indicates some kind of gear mechanism.

  • Paralysis Shot - As above, but inflicts paralysis instead of poison
  • High Grenade - Fire, Physical, 30 BP, 95% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 1-4 times. Blocked by Bulletproof.
  • Volcano Bullet - Fire-type special Rock Blast variant
  • Icicle Bullet - As above, but Ice-type
  • Multi Support - Steel, Other, 15 PP | Raises the Attack, Defense, and Speed of the user or an adjacent ally.
Other Moves: Pyro Ball, Magnet Bomb, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Seed Bomb, Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, Pin Missile, Spike Cannon, Barrage, Aura Sphere, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Air Slash, Lock-On, Agility, String Shot, Teleport
Stats: 80/100/90/70/70/90 | 500 BST

black-sis-png.284130

Form: Uni-Black-Sister (Ultra Burst form with Black Candidate Memory)
Ability: Levitate
Z-Move: EXE Drive: NGP - Steel, Physical, 210 BP | Has combined efficacy with Fire. (Does not trigger Flash Fire.) | Base: Brave Cannon
Stats: 80/120/105/90/80/125 (+20 Atk, +15 Def, +20 SpA, +10 SpD, +35 Spe) | 600 BST

Reasoning: A perfectionist firearm geek, Uni is the CPU (Console Patron Unit) Candidate of Lastation. She specializes in fire attacks, and Lastation is a land known for its industry, hence Fire/Steel. She is evidently a Sniper, and she has her fair share of rapid-fire attacks, thus Skill Link.
In-game, she plays the role of a ranged attacker, and Megadimension Neptunia VII gave her a handy boosting move in Multi Support. Her movepool reflects her weaponry and her in-game skill set. (That's why she has so many signature moves.)
sylvanos.png

Pokémon: Sylvanos
Type: Grass/Dark
Ability: Strong Jaw / Grassy Surge
Signature Moves:
  • Sprout Chomp - Grass, Physical, 85 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | Biting move.
  • Plants Rise - Grass, Physical, ??? BP, 5 PP | Fails if Grassy Terrain is not active. BP = 20*(9-N) where N is the number of Grassy Terrain turns left.
Other Moves: Wood Hammer, Power Whip, Leaf Blade, Petal Blizzard, Seed Bomb, Bullet Seed, Razor Leaf, Snap Trap, Vine Whip, Leafage, Crunch, Bite, Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Lash Out, Assurance, Night Slash, Feint Attack, Brutal Swing, Payback, Close Combat, Play Rough, Iron Tail, Outrage, Thrash, Hyper Fang, Slam, Headbutt, Quick Attack, Rage, U-turn, Dig, Reversal, Leaf Storm, Grass Knot, Petal Dance, Leaf Tornado, Snarl, Nature Power, Growth, Leech Seed, Synthesis, Worry Seed, Ingrain, Grassy Terrain
Stats: 76/100/99/55/85/120 | 535 BST
Reasoning: "Sylvanos is the heart of the Aetherian Forest. A rageful deity, Sylvanos has only a single goal - to expand the forest over all of Aether. Unfortunately, the great Rock Wall traps the spirit as he patrols the forest's floor. Sylvanos leads the plant life in the forest looking for ways to expand his dominance." - Official Profile
Think of Sylvanos as Zarude before Zarude was, except he is a wolf instead of a monkey and comes from a forest instead of a jungle. ...Well, just to explain his typing. He gets Strong Jaw from his tendency to bite and Grassy Surge/Terrain as a parallel to Untamed Growth. He comes from the same fighting game as Kragg, and neither has an undisputed edge over the other, so his base stats are simply a permutation of Kragg's: Speed ==> HP ==> Attack ==> Speed.

100px-Item_icon_Darwin%27s_Danger_Shield.png

Item: Darwin's Danger Shield
Franchise: Team Fortress 2
Effect: Self-announces on switch-in. Holder takes half damage from Fire-type attacks and no damage from burn.
Fling: 20 BP
Reasoning: One of a few secondary Sniper "weapons," to be worn on one's back as a means of protection from flames like those favored by Pyros. In its game of origin, it passively grants 50% Fire damage resistance and 100% Afterburn damage immunity.

"Olympus, I accept this message!"
Pokémon: Zagreus
Franchise:
Hades
Type:
fire.gif
dark.gif

Ability: Sturdy, Godly Boon
Godly Boon: When Zagreus enters battle and every thrid turn after he gains an ability of one of his allies (excluding untraceable abilities, signature abilities and the following: Huge Power, Speed Boost, Moxie). Resets when Zagreus switches out.

Notable Moves: Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, Dark Pulse, Sacred Sword, Icicle Spear, King's Shield, Spirit Shackle, Bullet Punch, Flash Cannon, Swords Dance, Taunt, Parting Shot, universal moves such as Substitute.
Stats: 100 / 92 / 86 / 84 / 74 / 114 (560 BST)

Reasoning: Zagreus, Prince of the Underworld, emerges from the Temple of Styx to partake in Pokemon battles. The young prince brings with him his infernal arms to exact violence on those who stand before him as he did to those who stood in his way while fleeing the underworld while his family on Olympus lend him their aid, still thinking the princeling is attempting to escape the Realm of the Dead once more. No doubt the hot-headed prince will once again meet his end and return to the blood red Pool of Styx.

In Hades Zagreus has access to five weapons: a sword, spear, shield, bow, fists and rail gun. These are represented by Sacred Sword, Icicle Spear, King's Shield, Spirit Shackle, Bullet Punch and Flash Cannon. His physical STAB moves, Flare Blitz and Darkest Lariat come from his dash attack and Dark Pulse comes from his cast attack. Each time he enters a chamber Zagreus is prone to taunting his enemies, particularly bosses, before the fight begins and then leaves the chamber with a quip, giving him the moves Taunt and Parting Shot (these moves show up a lot in my subs don't they). Throughout his many attempts to escape the Underworld, he receives boons from the Gods on Olympus, who hope he will eventually escape his father's realm and join them as one, big, happy family. These boons are re-imagined as his signature ability, Godly Boon, that gives him an ability from one of his allies every three turns. Also Sturdy because of Death Defiance but let's be honest, no one is going to use that one. He could easily have a plethora of coverage moves due to aspects, keepsakes, poms, Charon's items, etc. but for the sake of balance keeping his move set predictable allows for his ability to be somewhat unpredictable.

120px-Turnips_NH_Inv_Icon.png

Item: Turnip
Origin: Animal Crossing
Effect: If holder's HP is below 1/4, restores 1/3 total HP and raises attack by one stage. Consumes item. Sells for a high value.
Fling Effect: 20 BP
Reasoning: Turnips can be either eaten to increase the player's stamina/strength or be sold for lots of bells similar.

Minoshroom.png

Pokémon: Minoshroom
Origin: Twilight Forest (Minecraft mod)
Type: Grass
Ability: Block Breaker (Removes entry hazards on switchin.)
Stats: 155/125/70/70/70/70 (560)
Notable Moves: Axe Strike (see Camilla), Double-Edge, Horn Leech, Megahorn, Earthquake, High Horsepower, Stomping Tantrum, Spore, Brick Break, Work Up, Thrash, Outrage
Reasoning: Strange minotaur-moohsroom hybrid that functions as the boss of the Twilight Forest's Labyrinth. Grass becuase mushroom monster. Its ability reflects how it can break blocks while charging. It has horns, hence Horn Leech (which I wouldn't give normally but it's a Grass-type) and Megahorn. It wields its special diamond axe hence Axe Strike. The Ground moves reflect how it can slam into the ground and produce small quakes. Spore because mushrooms. Brick Break is the block breaking thing again. Work Up, Thrash, and Outrage are because the official wiki describes it as "rampaging" and fellow bull Tauros also gets those moves.
Item: Scrambler
Origin: Iji
Effect: Makes user immune to sound moves (and Taunt, and Quick Drawing [from CCEX]), but confuses holder whenever it blocks a move. Announces itself on entry - "[pokémon] is speaking strangely due to the Scrambler!" , or something along those lines.
Fling Effect: 10 BP.
Reasoning: The Scrambler is an unlockable that "messes up" the dialogue, often making the game much sillier in the process. (Missile ponies, anyone?) In-universe, it's justified as a defective prototype version of the universal translator thing that characters in the game probably use but isn't really talked about much. In addition to sound moves, it can also block Taunt and Quick Drawing because it affects written word as well (occasionally managing to turn it into indecipherable scribbles)

Pokémon: The Torch God
Franchise/Origin: Terraria
Typing: Fire
Ability: Super Luck / Serene Grace
Moves: Blue Flare, Burn Up, Overheat, Fire Blast, Inferno, Fire Pledge, Flamethrower, Lava Plume, Mystical Fire, Flame Burst, Ember, Smokescreen, Flash, Scald, Energy Ball, Power Gem, Ancient Power, Ice Beam, Dazzling Gleam, Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Nature Power, Will-o-Wisp, Happy Hour, Lucky Chant
Signature Item: Torch God's Favor - Changes the type of the Torch God's Fire-type moves based on environment or terrain, if they were to do more damage. +1 to crit chance ratio if type changes. (Same type changes as Nature Power)
Stats: 140/50/70/110/70/15 (425)
Reasoning: Type: I mean...
Ability: With Terraria's latest update, torches now affect luck positively, and this blessing is attributed to the Torch God.
Moves: The Torch God attacks using different kinds of torches, namely the regular one, Coral (Water), Jungle (Grass), Desert (Rock), Ice (Ice), Hallowed (Fairy), Corrupt+Crimson (Poison), Corrupt+Demon (Dark) and Cursed+Bone (Ghost). It can also use the Blue and Ultrabright torches to attack with blue flames. The colored torches are crafted from gems (Blue Torch is made from Sapphire, etc), so I gave it Power Gem. The event's name is called "HappyFunTorchTime" so I gave it Happy Hour.
Signature Item: Torch God's Favor is an item that automatically changes torches to match the biome, giving the player an increase in luck, which in turn affects everything about the RNG positively. It only changes regular torches though, so The Torch God's moves based on non-regular torches are unchanged (meaning all the non-Fire moves).
Stats: The Torch God event is an endurance event, and the Torch God attacks through a large number of torches (at least 100, capping at upwards of 10000) and the torches are put out individually, so I figured its HP should be high. It doesn't display any physical attacks at all so Attack is low, and the torches don't move, so its Speed is abysmal.

Pokémon: Aircraft Carrier Princess
Franchise/Origin: Kantai Collection
Type: Steel/Dark
Ability: Flash Fire / Long Reach / Weak Armor
Notable moves: Bite, Crunch, Fire Fang, Dive, Surf, Whirlwind, Liquidation, Fire Blast, Egg Bomb, Seed Bomb, Explosion, Self-Destruct, Smack Down, Knock Off, Iron Defense, Taunt, Roar, Outrage, Thrash, Rage, Bide, Revenge, Night Daze, Night Shade, Flash Cannon, Attack Order, Defend Order, Heal Order, Infestation, Dragon Pulse, Deploy Missiles (See Galleom), Bomb Throw and Bomb Blast (See Pandora), Carnage (See Urdnot Wrex), Rocket and Homing Missile (See Austin Carter)
Stats: 100/90/100/90/100/90 (570)

Reasoning:
  • Type: Steel should be obvious, she's a goddamn warship. Dark because she's an Abyssal Fleet Vessel. Firstly, Abyssals come from the bottom of the ocean, which is pitch black. Secondly, she and other Abyssals are evil, wanting to sink and burn regular ships. Thirdly, Abyssals are all Demons, with Princess-type Abyssals also being called War Demon-types.
  • Abilities: Flash Fire is Received Fire in Japanese. This works both ways, Abyssal Fleet Vessels were previously regular ships who received (enemy) fire, sunk and then became that way. It also works in the literal sense, as you can see the Aircraft Carrier Princess has a giant fire-breathing metallic mouth. Long Reach because she attacks with missiles and bombs. Weak Armor because her initial appearance had her with damaged clothes and equipment, and well, she's a sunken ship full of cracks.
  • Stats: I just divided her Firepower stat by her Armor stat, it turns out her Armor is x0.9 her Firepower, so I used that for Attack and Defense. She's also classified as a "Very Fast" Ship thus 90 Speed. She's one of the strongest ships, though not quite the strongest.
  • Moves: Bite moves come from her giant metal mouth thing. Water moves come from being a boat, and being found on water in-game. Bomb, explosion and fire moves come from her armament. 'Rage' moves (from Taunt to Revenge) come from her dialogue and the fact Abyssals want to sink and burn ships (this reasoning also applies to Carnage). Smack Down comes from Anti-Aerial armament. Night Daze and Night Shade both because of the same reasons she's Dark type and because 90% of her armament is called "Abyssal Night ___." Order moves come from ordering around lesser Abyssal Fleet Vessels and her own live armament.
  • It's actually pretty hard to give Pokemon moves to a sunken anthropomorphized boat. So I reused some custom moves. You might be asking yourself why so many reused custom moves were needed, that's because she has 6 different types of missiles and bombers, that's the number of moves I reused.
Xion_%28Art%29.png

Pokemon: Xion
Franchise/Origin: Kingdom Hearts
Type: Fairy/Fighting
Ability: Illusion / Trace / Light Tamer
Light Tamer
- Increases the power of light-based moves by x1.5 (for a full list of moves, check King Boo's Dark Crown item).
Notable moves: Physical: Sacred Sword, Close Combat, Fly, U-Turn, Play Rough, Psycho Cut, Cut, Slash, Night Slash, Solar Blade, X-Scissor, Fury Cutter, Lunge
Special: Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Hurricane, Hyper Voice, Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Stored Power, Power Gem, Signal Beam, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Prismatic Laser, Photon Geyser, Black Hole (See Zeromus)
Status: Agility, Swords Dance, Gravity, Teleport, Endure, Thunder Wave, Confuse Ray, Reflect, Light Screen, Barrier, Lock-On, Fairy Lock, Disable, Flash, Defog, Recover
Stats: 80 / 105 / 75 / 110 / 95 / 125 (590)
latest

G-Max Move: G-Max Final Break: Fairy - Applies the Nil volatile status effect, which makes the opponent's Defense and Special Defense stats equal to 1 in damage calculation, but wears off if the Pokemon is switched out or after a full turn has passed.

Reasoning:
  • Xion is Fairy/Fighting because of her light powers (KH light is closer to Fairy than Psychic), and being a Keyblade wielder. Xion also wields non-Keyblade swords (Xion has 6 different swords in total).
  • Trace comes from the fact she's a replica of Sora, and she has also copied other characters' powers, such as copying Saix's berserk mode+blue flames. Illusion is due to different characters seeing Xion as different things. "Roxas, Axel, and Riku (and presumably the rest of the Organization, except Xigbar, Xemnas, and Saix) see her as the dark-haired Kairi lookalike Xion. Before their battle, Roxas sees her as Sora. Xemnas also sees her as Sora, Xigbar sees her as Ventus, and Saïx sees her only as a faceless hooded puppet." - Kingdom Hearts wiki
  • Light Tamer comes from Sora's strong light powers, and Xion being a replica of Sora displays these powers often as well. (There's no name for this power in Kingdom Hearts, and other Keyblade wielders don't show this power, only Sora and his army of clones do, so I went with a light variant of Japanese Steelworker, Steel Tamer)
  • Xion's moves are a mix of generic slashing moves, the usual elemental Square Enix magic (fire, wind, electric, ice, heal) and light moves. The list includes some legendary sigs, but for good reason, their description matches what Xion does with her light attacks (for example Prismatic Laser comes from Xion shooting lasers out of the prism-shaped tips of her swords and shoulder tendrils, and Photon Geyser are her pillars of light). Some weirder choices include Fly, Defog and Roost from the form she grows wings, and Zeromus' Black Hole, which comes from her usage of the Corridors of Darkness as black balls.
  • Xion is very fast, especially when using the ability to turn into a ball of light. She's the fastest and most relentless of the Real Organization XIII Data bosses. Her stats are mixed offensively because she attacks with both swords and light beams (and elemental magic when she's playable).
  • Xion's Gigantamax comes from her final boss battle in 358/2 Days, where she becomes an armored Nobody the size of a large building. Her G-Max Move comes from this same boss battle, where this move inflicts the strongest status condition in the game, the Nil condition, that nulls defenses. Dynamaxing is banned so this form is thankfully Ubers by default.

Suggested listening: Praetor Amalthus - The Acting God
Pokémon: Amalthus
Franchise/Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Type: Psychic
Ability: Serene Grace / Pressure
Moves: Calm Mind, Confusion, Expanding Force, Luster Purge, Stored Power, Flash Cannon, Lava Plume, Power Gem, Rollout, Ancient Power, Stone Edge, Snarl, Frustration, Power Trip, Sucker Punch, Lash Out, Brutal Swing, Dark Pulse, Embargo, Foul Play, Nasty Plot, Snatch, Feint Attack, Thief, Bulk Up, Power Whip, Self-Destruct, Imprison, Instruct, Disable, Recover, Light Arrow (Same as Zelda), Command (Same as Orc Eye of Gruumsh from Expanded)
Stats: 120/60/80/100/110/50 (520)
Xenoblade_Chronicles_2_Walkthrough_Screenshot_2017-12-11_00-13-16.jpg

Form: Mega Amalthus
Type: Psychic/Rock
Ability: Divine Robes: Amalthus only. Changes Amalthus's type to Fire, Water, Ground, Electric, Flying, Ice, Dark or Psychic depending on his Hidden Power type (does nothing if not one of those types).
Stats: 120/70/120/130/140/50 (620)
Reasoning:
  • Amalthus is Psychic-type because of his role as a Quaestor and then Praetor (closest thing in Pokemon is probably the sage mon Oranguru). After absorbing half of Haze's Core Crystal and powers, he also gains the power to control Blades and Titans telepathically. Lastly, he kind of has a relation to the Light element, which probably translates to Psychic in this case. Light is the type of both his auto-attack, his standard move, and Sacred Arrow, his strongest move. Although the Light association isn't concrete, as he doesn't start his boss battle as Light, but rather elementless and can transform into any element during the battle.
  • Serene Grace is based on his calm attitude (initially) and being the Driver of the "Goddess of Indol." It is also based on his own delusion of being the chosen one by the Architect (Serene Grace is Heavenly Blessing in JP).
  • Pressure comes from his power to control Blades and Titans by force and being an imposing authority figure as the Praetor.
  • The Mega is based on Amalthus' monstrous Blade Eater form. Rock-type comes from how he absorbed countless Core Crystals to achieve this form. The Core Crystals cover his new body/armor, things that look like actual rocks grow out of his face and he even starts spreading a marble-like thing as a last resort when defeated
    • Unconfirmed theory, but Amalthus' rock relation might have something to do with Blades turning into Titans, the landmasses of the Xenoblade 2 world, a natural process that Amalthus prevented by cleansing and absorbing Blades' Core Crystals. Either way it doesn't matter where the connection comes from, it looks like it's there.
  • Divine Robes is the skill that Amalthus uses to change his element to those of Blades (Fire, Water, Earth, Electric, Wind, Ice, Dark and Light).

Form: Black Alice-Second Form-Ultimate
Ability: Shed Skin / Suction Cups / Sticky Hold

Stats: 113/108/116/130/120/93 (680)

Form: Black Alice-Third Form-Ultimate
Ability: Shed Skin / Suction Cups / Sticky Hold

Stats: 113/133/106/135/100/103 (690)

Form: Final Form Black Alice
Ability: Elimination / Berserk / Gluttony
Elimination: Moves used by this Pokemon against trapped targets will always result in a critical hit.
Movepool Additions: Same as Black Alice-Third Form-Ultimate, except No Retreat replaces any and all moves that switch the user out, TM/TR/HM/tutor or otherwise.
+Summon Water Spirit: +1 SpA/+2 Eva (banned due to Evasion clause)
+Summon Fire Spirit: +2 Atk/+1 SpA
Stats: 113/133/116/135/110/93 (700)
Reasoning:
  • Typing: Black Alice is the 8th Monster Lord, meaning the 8th direct descendant of the manifestation of darkness itself, plus she plotted to control the world (Dark). Her true form and that of her ancestors is that of lamias, monster girls with snake and/or dragon-like qualities, with Black Alice herself having a six-horned snake lower half in her full power form (Dragon).
  • Abilities: Limber, Suction Cups and Sticky Hold due to her tentacles. Shed Skin due to her snake qualities. Elimination because of her battle mechanics in the original game. Berserk because she was called as such in this form, due to her uncontrolled power. Gluttony because of how her runaway power warped her desire to "control the world" into "consume the world."
  • Move: The moves could be split into a few categories, fitting STAB, snake move because lamia, octopus moves because tentacles, drain and poison moves because she wants to consume everything, temptation moves (kisses and attract) from being a monster girl, elemental moves from being a magic expert. Ultimate forms get all TMs/HMs/TRs/tutor moves because she has the genes of all monsters, and can grow organs of all of them. Consider her an eldritch version of Mew.
  • Signature Move: In Monster Girl Quest, summoning the four elemental spirits gives a wide range of buffs to the user. Black Alice's ally (Promestein) mass-produced elemental spirit clones, allowing her and her allies to use them. Black Alice is shown using all four types of elemental spirits. As for the Dark-type Spacial Rend clone, that move "completely erases all traces of the target's existence with its overwhelming darkness."
  • Stats: Her boss stats are pretty well-rounded, but she is said to have "incredibly high powered magic" so of course SpA would be higher. I tried to differentiate between her forms by shifting some points here and there. The difference between regular and Ultimate Second/Third Forms is that the regular is her own power (shown in a boss battle in the past), while the Ultimate form is after she absorbed Goddess Ilias (in the final moments of the game). As for the reason she's so strong, her final form is the 2nd strongest enemy in the original MGQ (the strongest is Goddes Ilias who throws out Big Bangs as regular attacks and who Black Alice absorbed, albeit imperfectly).
chaos-alice-png.219409

Pokémon: Goddess of Chaos Black Alice
Typing: ???
Ability: Mold Breaker
Moves: Same as Black Alice-Third Form-Ultimate, plus regains any moves that switch the user out that she previously had.
Signature Move: Great Disaster (???-type Spacial Rend).
Stats: 113/133/116/135/120/113 (730)
Reasoning:
  • Type: In this form, Black Alice is the Goddess of Chaos. In Monster Girl Quest, Chaos is literally nothing.
  • Abilities: Successfully merging darkness and light was thought to be impossible, until Black Alice did it, thus Mold Breaker. Chaos also "consumes space-time itself" so bypassing defensive abilities makes sense imo. (Also except for Multiscale Lugia, Kingprotea and Fluffy Nine-Tails Tamamo, Mold Breaker seems pretty useless and therefore balanced).
  • Stats: By somehow merging light and darkness and becoming the Goddess of Chaos, Black Alice surpassed the power of the other two Goddesses. Chaos consumes space-time itself and leaves nothing behind in its wake, and will continue to consume until absolutely nothing in existence remains. If Black Alice isn't stopped "[...] the whole of all universes will be devoured by the chaos." So this multiversal threat having high BST is logical.
