this means the winner for eternal magikarp is:
:sv/magikarp:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon:
- Eternal Magikarp
New Stat distribution:
- 89 HP, 80 Atk, 75 Def, 95 SpA, 80 SpD, 120 Spe
Signature Move:
- Call of Family (User boosts one of its stats by 2 stages based on the last fainted Pokémon on the user's team before executing the latter's first move. This happens in one turn! Info: Dragon, Status, 10 PP.)
Chosen Ability:
- Swift Swim, assuming you can't choose one of Gyarados's ability. But if you can, I'd go for Intimidate
Design/Flavor:
- In TCG, both Magikarp and Gyarados are known for their revenge strategies. For instance, they tend to have moves that become stronger the more fainted Magikarp or Gyarados you have in your discard pile or the less HP the user has remaining. Thus, I decided to come up with the signature move Call of Family. Moreover, it further underlines Magikarp's adaptability in any environment. It's not difficult if you can rely on family and friends in spirit. x)
Competitive Analysis:
- Call of Family turns Eternal Magikarp into a very customizable Pokémon. With base 120 Spe and a potential +2 offensive boost before doing damage, it can pressure some types and weakened Pokémon at the very least. Use this opportunity and go for Call of Family and do whatever you want to do: setting hazard, using a pivot move, boosting your stats, etc. The graveyard is your limit! As for ability, I went for Swift Swim since Rain is a very offensive playstyle. So, you can find yourself quickly sacrificing Pokémon and make Eternal Magikarp more potent. And with a reasonably good speed tier, it can function in and out of Rain, especially if you manage to get Spe boosts from Call of Family.
and the winner for eternal spinarak is:
Eternal Spinarak
spinarak.png

Ability: Sniper
Stats: 42 HP (+2) - 126 Atk (+66) - 42 Def (+2) - 42 SpA (+2) - 42 SpD (+2) - 105 Spe (+75) // 399 BST
Signature Move: Chelicera Prey // Bug - Physical - 70 BP - 100% Acc - 10 PP - Contact - Lands a critical hit if the target has its Speed stat lowered
Design: The frowning face on Spinarak's back is much more pronounced, its chelicera and horn grow bigger as well
Flavor: There isn't much of a flavor link here since Spinarak is a rather generic Pokémon, but I like how the signature move plays with Scary Face at least so symbolize the iconic frowny face on its back!
Competitive: Eternal Spinarak takes advantage of Toxic Thread and Sticky Web to pose the threat of having a very strong signature move with a whopping 157.5 effective BP if hitting into something slower, so this thing becomes a monster on Sticky Web, and it can set its own web as well, but it will likely need a Focus Sash to be able to both set webs and take advantage of its own signature move, leaving it vulnerable to hazards, sand, and non-grounded Pokémon that will only take regular damage from Chelicera Prey (unless it happens to roll a 1/24 critical hit by chance!), and well, Bug is a very easy-to-resist typing, and while this move IS strong it's still probably not one-shotting most resists. Instead of trying to go for webs straight on turn 1, Eternal Spinarak can also use Toxic Thread to force out whatever it's facing. And be in a mind game of setting up webs as they switch out, or stay in and KO the now speed-dropped Pokémon with Chelicera Prey. Anyway, here are some calcs:
  • 252 Atk Sniper Eternal Spinarak Chelicera Prey vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippowdon on a critical hit: 163-195 (38.8 - 46.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
  • 252 Atk Sniper Eternal Spinarak Chelicera Prey vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Vaporeon on a critical hit: 247-292 (53.2 - 62.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
  • -1 252 Atk Sniper Eternal Spinarak Chelicera Prey vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gyarados on a critical hit: 153-181 (46.2 - 54.6%) -- 62.1% chance to 2HKO (assuming Gyarados is hit with Toxic Thread)
  • -1 252 Atk Sniper Eternal Spinarak Chelicera Prey vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragonite on a critical hit: 132-156 (40.8 - 48.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
  • (assuming Dragonite is hit with Toxic Thread)
as for eternal skrelp, there is a tie between BlueRay and Squawkerz's submissions:
:sv/skrelp:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon:
- Eternal Skrelp
New Stat distribution:
- 63 HP, 100 Atk, 120 Def, 60 SpA, 120 SpD, 30 Spe
Signature Move:
- Spiral Drain (User recovers 50% of the damage dealt to the target and poisons it. Info: Water, Physical, 90 BP, 10 PP, contact.)
Chosen Ability:
- Adaptability
Design/Flavor:
- Might talk about flavour later.
Competitive Analysis:
- Poison/Water is a good defensive typing. Spiral Drain allows Eternal Skrelp to take advantage of it while not being passive at all. Moreover, it keeps it healthier throughout the game and can force switches due to the poisoning, giving you thus more opportunities to click this move. I imagine this Eternal Skrelp will be used as an offensive pivot with Assault Vest.
skrelp.png

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Eternal Skrelp
New Stat distribution: 81/70/105/80/108/49 (BST: 493) [+31 HP, +10 Atk, +45 Def, +20 SpA, +48 SpD, +19 Spe]
Signature Move: Kelp Feast (Poison, Status, - BP, - Acc, 8 Max PP. User recovers 50% of their Max HP and gains a Charge-like effect on their next Poison type move. (Flags: Snatch, Heal, Metronome))
Chosen Ability: Poison Touch
Design/Flavor (optional): Most of Skrelp's dex entries mentions that it hides in and eats rotten kelp to generate poison. Design-wise I have no idea.
Competitive Analysis (optional): Dragalge mainly functions as a bulky toxic spikes setting pivot or a specs breaker, so I wanted to make Skrelp-Eternal something different by giving it something the evolution doesn't have, reliable recovery. Now Skrelp-Eternal functions as a wall instead of a tank, but I cut some of its Special stats for improved physical bulk and some extra chip damage on Flip Turns and Dragon Tails, which it can use in tandem with Poison Touch and Toxic Spikes to spread Poison across the opponent's team.
everyone can vote for either, but self-votes are NOT allowed on tiebreaks.

the tiebreak voting deadline is wednesday 9PM UTC

and the winner for Eternal Skrelp is BlueRay, congratulations!

Name: Eternal Pikachu
Stats: 85/75/84/55/90/95
Ability: Lightning Rod
Signature Move: Storm Front (Electric, Status, --- bp, --- acc, 16 pp, Summons Rain for 5 turns. User switches out.)
Design: Pikachu
Competitive: Pikachu is a potent offensive mon pulling out really strong Volt Tackles, Extreme Speeds, and Fake Outs. It still suffers from eh bulk and only 95 speed which is good but not super. It also packs cool pivoting in Storm Front which is a Rain Chilly Reception clone.

Edit: Apparently they decided Pikachu doesn't get ESpeed anymore so now you are just a really powerful offensive mon with mid bulk and your only set up is special which isn't very good.

:sv/fletchinder:
Name: Eternal Fletchinder
Stats: 82/83/95/56/92/90
Ability: Flame Body
Signature Move: Tornado (Flying, Physical, 70 bp, 100 acc, 16 pp, Until switch out, this Pokemon's priority moves have +1 priority.)
Design: Gains Moltres like features as a reference to how Ash's Fletchinder evolves in the anime.
Competitive: Fletchinder gets bulky stats, flame body, and a move that gives it priority moves such as recovery, defog, & WoW.

:sv/noibat:
Name: Eternal Noibat
Stats: 69/85/65/95/75/145
Ability: Frisk
Signature Move: Concussion Repercussion (Flying, Special, 130 bp, 95 acc, 16 pp, Replaces the target's ability with Soundproof. [Sound move])
Design: Noibat becomes more Wyvern like and its ears becomes more speaker like.
Competitive: Noibat gets a super powerful move, being 130 bp stab move that disables the target's ability but can only hit a Pokemon once until they switch out. It also packs really fast pivoting. Its super fast and rather strong but is stopped by its bad bulk.

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Pikachu-Eternal
New Stat distribution: 75 (+40)/60 (+5)/90 (+50)/55 (+5)/100 (+50)/104 (+14)
Signature Move: Kilojolt (40 bp, electric, special, 5 pp, 100% acc, 100% flinch chance, lowers the user's speed by 2 when used.)
Chosen Ability: Static
Design/Flavor (optional): This Pikachu has been bulking. Just a massive chonker, sumo pikachu.
Competitive Analysis (optional): Solid bulk and good but not great speed doesn't change it's offensive nature, but keeping it's offenses low should keep it in check. Kilojolt is very strong for stopping slow walls, buying time, or getting a little free damage, but it absolutely thunks into ground types as expected. Not that it's helpless against grounds, but the mon loses it's best tool.

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Fletchinder-Eternal
New Stat distribution: 72 (+10)/153 (+80)/66 (+11)/56 (+0)/62 (+10)/89 (+5)
Signature Move: Approaching Flame (150 BP, fire, physical, 5pp, 100% acc, charges on turn 1, hits turn 2 and breaks protect. Deals 25% of maximum hp as recoil.)
Chosen Ability: Flame Body
Design/Flavor (optional): Is a pheonix!
Competitive Analysis (optional): I almost gave this gale wings. Anyways, nuke, with the option for more nuclear nuking in power herb Approaching Flame.

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Noibat-Eternal
New Stat distribution: 25 (-15)/105 (+75)/45 (+10)/125 (+80)/105 (+65)/129 (+74)
Signature Move: Sonar Break (120 bp, dragon, special, 5pp, 100% acc, If the opponent's item has not been revealed, or has been removed, this move fails. Item reveal is permanent.)
Chosen Ability: Frisk
Design/Flavor (optional): It's like 90% speaker ears. Would have no business flying if it didn't switch to speaker-based flight.
Competitive Analysis (optional): Extremely dangerous, very frail. Has difficulty threatening things that switch in after it and therefore don't get frisked, but it does threaten mons with items that reveal themselves, notably Lorb users and Leftovers mons which both throw out a unique text message and are revealed on the client. Basically any event that plays a message with the item name in it, along with trick/switcheroo, should reveal items.

Name: Eternal Pikachu
Stats: 70/60/102/60/102/90
Ability: Lightning Rod
Signature Move: Pika-Power Up (Electric, Status, --- bp, --- acc, 8 pp, Raises All Stats by one stage, but the user loses 1/3th of their max HP)
Design: Pikachu but its ears look like the petals of Eternal Floette
Competitive: I'm trying to get back into the pet modding scene here, and the idea is a pikachu that can use light ball and set ups to reek havoc. Pika-Power Up, while a better clangorus soul, makes Volt Tackles riskier to use as a result. I'll be honest I just thought the concept of this was interesting at the very least.

Eternal Pikachu
pikachu.png

Ability: Static
Stats: 87 HP (+52) | 55 Atk | 92 Def (+52) | 50 SpA | 102 SpD (+52) | 98 Spe (+8) || 484 BST
Signature Move: Store Electricity || Electric | Status | 5 PP | The user endures any incoming hits, surviving with at least 1 HP for the rest of the turn. If hit this turn, the user gets charged. Has an increasing chance to fails if used in succession, or in succession of Protect clones or Endure.
Design: Pikachu's cheeks turn blue with blue electricity coming out of them.
Flavor: The electricity|storing cheeks are one of the most iconic aspects of Pikachu, so I thought it would be fun to highlight them on its signature move!
Competitive: Store Electricity allows it to buy a turn vs. slower Pokémon that would otherwise KO it without Pikachu being able to KO them first, but this can be risky due to the opponent being able to use a status move or switch out. Even if the strategy is succesfully pulled off, Pikachu will likely have 1 HP, which also makes it hazard prone as it can't hold both Heavy-Duty Boots and Light Ball. On top of its signature move, it has a very wide array of options, defensively being mostly only stopped by Grass-types and Dragalge. but its speed tier allows for hopefully reasonable revenge KOing.

Eternal Fletchinder
fletchinder.png

Ability: Gale Wings
Stats: 91 HP (+29) | 73 Atk | 55 Def | 85 SpA (+29) | 81 SpD (+29) | 113 Spe (+29) || 498 BST
Signature Move: Second Wind || Flying | Special | 100 BP | 100% Acc | 10 PP | Wind | Fails if the user is at full HP. User restores 25% of its maximum HP.
Design: Its tail gets more fletchings to more strongly resemble an arrow.
Flavor: The flavor here is a play on the phrase "second wind" and I tried to represent that mechanically. You can't have a second wind if you haven't already endured something (taken damage) before.
Competitive: Eternal Fletchinder can use Second Wind to find itself able to get Gale Wings active again. It struggles a bit with accuracy with all its non-recoil options though, with Hurricane having the worst accuracy, but even Dual Wingbeat and Air Slash are possible to miss sometimes. You can go with a mixed approach and run Brave Bird for more consistency alongside the power, but then you're forced to spread thin with your EV spread. Maybe ideas like Prankster Tailwind and Defog could also be considered!

Eternal Noibat
noibat.png

Ability: Inflitrator
Stats: 91 HP (+51) | 47 Atk (+17) | 86 Def (+51) | 113 SpA (+68) | 91 SpD (+51) | 106 Spe (+51) | 534 BST
Signature Move: Ultra Resonance || Normal | Special | - BP | 100% Acc | 5 PP | All Adjacent | Sound | BP is 300 minus the absolute difference of the user and target's current HP. Target is immune if BP would be 0 or less.
Design: Its loudspeaker ears become bigger and more robust.
Flavor: So, I had this silly idea and I thought I had to go for it! The idea here is that Eternal Noibat is able to emit frequencies with just the right frequency to create ressonance and deal an enourmous amount of damage to the opponent. But how could I represent two Pokémon being (metaphorically) on the same frequency? I thought using the HP number would be an interesting choice, as a Pokémon that's healthy might be more relaxed, and a Pokémon that's at low HP might be more stressed, with a faster heartbeat, something like that, I don't know! Using HP seemed like an interesting metric to represent this idea mechanically, and of course, resonance, frequencies, sound waves and all that is RIGHT up the Noibat line's alley.
Competitive: So Eternal Noibat is a very opportunistic Pokémon, especially in the early-game is when its at its most dangerous, because its at full HP and so is everything else. So this is very much a Pokémon you wanna use early on. Otherwise your opponent might have something that has a big HP difference so Ultra Ressonance does minimal damage, if any at all. Its reasonable bulk allows it to keep Roosting up to keep using Ultra Resonance at full power against other full HP targets! If it's at around 50% HP maybe Super Fang could also be an interesting choice! Outside of Ultra Resonance, Eternal Noibat also has the usual Noivern moves, like Draco Meteor and Hurricane, as well as Heat Wave in place of Flamethrower for Steel-types that resist its STAB combo + Ultra Resonance. One thing to note is that this move adds a lot of complexity to calc'ing, especially against targets faster than Noibat, but hopefully the effect is interesting enough to offset this!

Name of the Eternal Pokémon:
- Eternal Pikachu
New Stat distribution:
- 80 HP, 65 Atk, 80 Def, 50 SpA, 86 SpD, 123 Spe
Signature Move:
- Tag Bolt (Electric, Special, 120 BP, 10 PP, effect: This move hits in 2 turns, like Future Sight. If the move hits, target is paralyzed.)
Chosen Ability:
- Lightning Rod
Design/Flavor:
- The Tag Bolt move is a TCG reference where Pikachu teams up with Zekrom to launch a devastating combo. As Pikachu is often depicted as a teamplayer, I figured a Future Sight clone would be the best way to emphasize it.
Competitive Analysis:
- Pikachu-Eternal's stats favour a fast aggressive approach to the game since it's so frail to begin with. Light Ball further emphasizes this aspect. You can complement it with Tag Bolt, which will naturally support the team and synergize with Volt Switch. Moreover, Pikachu-Eternal can make progress even in the face of types that resist or that are immune to Electric moves. Tag Bolt will likely enable Ice Pokémon the best due to the potent offensive combination. For instance, Ice hits Grass and Dragon Pokémon for super effective damage--types that naturally resist Electric.
- Keep in mind that Tag Bolt, like Future Sight, is at its strongest when Pikachu-Eternal (equipped with a Light Ball) is on the field by the time the move hits a target, not when the user is off the field. Paralysis references Pikachu's signature Z-Move and Gigantamax form which also paralyse a target. Moreover, it makes up for Tag Bolt not doing much damage if Pikachu-Eternal (equipped with a Light Ball) isn't on the field by the time this move hits a target.
:sv/noibat:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon:
- Eternal Noibat
New Stat distribution:
- 81 HP, 33 Atk, 90 Def, 127 SpA, 90 SpD, 113 Spe
Signature Move:
- Echolocation (Flying, Special, 90 BP, 10 PP, effect: Sound move inflicting Torment on target.)
Chosen Ability:
- Frisk
Design/Flavor:
- The Noibat line is all about sound manipulation. Thus, Noibat-Eternal's Echolocation alerts it from any danger and can be used to confuse enemies.
Competitive Analysis:
- Noivern is known for its offensive utility role, providing Defog or attempting to stallbreak with Taunt. Noibat-Eternal's Echolocation expands on this aspect by limiting an opponent's moves. They cannot use a move twice, after all. This gives your team enough time to answer a threat. Moreover, after using Echolocation, Noibat-Eternal could just switch out to another Pokémon afterwards to take advantage of the opponent's limited moves they can make. For instance, it can bait a certain move.

it's time for vetoes! i'll be a bit strict with pikachu since light ball makes it incredibly powerful and i'd rather play things safe than sorry with me being alone on the council so far '^^

on top of competitive vetoes, i'll also have vetoes for submissions that outclass their evolved formes, as that goes against the mod's philosophy

feel free to contact me on discord at lydian_11 if you disagree with anything:

while it is a bit frailer, i don't like that this strictly outclasses noivern in both power and speed (even if competitively it'd be balanced). i think it could be a bit interesting with less spa (a bit less than noivern, like 95?), more bulk as a tradeoff, and a stronger signature move (maybe 130 BP?) so that the soundproof-inducing aspect is more at play with it being even stronger than hurricane! you can take this is a new direction if you'd like, so long as it doesn't completely overshadow choice specs noivern offensively!

i like the idea of the move, but i think this is a bit too powerful with such a high base speed stat. for instance, take a traditional check like dragalge which has good spdef, resists pikachu's coverage. if you catch it on switch-in with thunderbolt you're able to rack up up to three kilojolts on it without it being able to do anything back, doing anywhere from 50 to 60% to a 252 hp dragalge. sylveon is also outsped by -1 pikachu unless it's timid, which can mean it would take also anywhere from 65 to 78% assuming 252 hp, and with stealth rock up you can go for thunderbolt on the switch in, into kilojolt into another thunderbolt to have a very high chance to ko. and grounds, like you said, aren't great switch ins either, with even spdef hippowdown being 2hkoed by grass knot and having a 43% roll to be koed by surf with leftovers, steelix also being 2hkoed by surf and taking upwards of 40% by grass knot, and offensive krookodile having a 50% chance to be ohkoed by surf if trying to switch in.

i'd suggest one of the following (just one is fine!):
  • reducing kilojolt to 30 BP
  • lowering the speed by 2 stages instead
  • lowering eternal pikachu's base special attack by ~5-10 points
  • lowering eternal pikachu's base speed to 91 or less (outsped by krookodile at neutral, should also help pokemon like sylveon and dragalge speed creep -1 and -2 pikachu)

Competitive Analysis (optional): Extremely dangerous, very frail. Has difficulty threatening things that switch in after it and therefore don't get frisked. Notably lacks boomburst, as far as I can tell.
before the feedback, if an opposing pokemon has its item revealed, does that enable sonar break for the whole battle? or if they switch out does it reset to failing until they're frisked again? just curious on the mechanics of that '^^ and do note that the former option might be a bit tricker to code (i can't think of a way immediately, but maybe there is an option. and if it isn't possible to code it might have to be modified)!

as for the feedback, while the abysmal physical bulk makes it much more succeptible to priority, keeping a niche for regular choice specs noivern: it's ohkoed by unboosted adamant dragonite extreme speed, talonflame dual wingbeat / brave bird, and after stealth rock or minimal chip sylveon quick attack, aegislash shadow sneak, and choice band pangoro bullet punch - i still think the stats here are pretty pushed. hurricane easily 2hkoes phys def / specs sylveon and florges (and it's a 50% roll if both hit on spdef sylveon after stealth rock and leftovers - although spdef florges is fine), meanwhile our steels in steelix and aegislash get completely obliterated by heat wave (even fully spdef steelix has a roll to be ohkoed). to boot, 130 is the speed tier of our fastest pokemon already in aerodactyl and jolteon, so you can only really deal with this thing with scarfers and priority if you don't wanna risk a speed tie.

i'd suggest one of the following:
  • remove at least 1 point in speed (so jolteon and aerodactyl are consistently able to outspeed it) and ~20 in special attack and distribute it among atk and spdef (so it's still stronger than noivern, but a bit easier to stomach with sylveon and the steel-types)
  • remove ~20-25 points in speed and distribute it to its bulk, so it's a slower, more "wallbreaky" version of noivern

Name: Eternal Pikachu
Stats: 70/60/95/60/95/104
Ability: Lightning Rod
Signature Move: Pika-Power Up (Electric, Status, --- bp, --- acc, 8 pp, Raises All Stats by one stage, but the user loses 1/4th of their max HP)
I'll be honest I just thought the concept of this was interesting at the very least.
i know it has a hard time setting up, but once it gets an omniboost its straight up game over, look:
  • +1 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Surf vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Steelix: 338-398 (95.4 - 112.4%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
  • +1 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Hippowdon: 422-498 (100.4 - 118.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
choice specs sylveon can't ohko and lets pikachu get either two hits off or a nasty plot off (if it drops either ground-type coverage):
  • 252+ SpA Choice Specs Pixilate Sylveon Hyper Voice vs. +1 16 HP / 0 SpD Pikachu: 180-213 (63.1 - 74.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
meanwhile, specially defensive is just set up bait if its running nasty plot as well, with hyper voice not 2hkoing after the 25% hpreduction:
  • 0 SpA Pixilate Sylveon Hyper Voice vs. +1 16 HP / 0 SpD Pikachu: 88-105 (30.8 - 36.8%) -- 66.8% chance to 3HKO
and it's even worse vs. florges. really the only consistent defensive answers are dragalge or the grass-types like gogoat and victreebel which i don't think will be very good! 105+ speed scarfers (opportunity cost not included) and priority are options to consider, but you need to chip the pikachu while it sets up so you're always trading at least one mon and momentum to deal with it:
  • 252 Atk Aerodactyl Earthquake vs. +1 16 HP / 0 Def Pikachu: 132-156 (46.3 - 54.7%) -- 56.3% chance to 2HKO
  • 252 SpA Noivern Draco Meteor vs. +1 16 HP / 0 SpD Pikachu: 121-144 (42.4 - 50.5%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO
  • 252+ Atk Choice Band Dragonite Extreme Speed vs. +1 16 HP / 0 Def Pikachu: 102-121 (35.7 - 42.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
i honestly just think something with this BST, an omniboosting move and an item that already doubles its offensive stats is really hard to balance properly, my best suggestion would be to:
  • lower the speed (to at least base 91, so scarf krookodile can outspeed this) - the extra points should probably be redistributed into the defenses (since you probably shouldn't boost the attack or special attack stat any further) which will go along with my next suggestion
and do one of the following:
  • increase the HP removed by setting up, to at least 1/3
  • OR remove the defense increase from setting up
this should make it easier to prevent from setting up, and make options like sylveon more reliable as defensive checks, while also making revenge ko options a bit easier.

Role: Sweeper
I knew there was only one way to do this one. Gotta Catch em' all!
you have 494 BST '^^ (you need to remove 10 points)

also, this is ridiculously powerful:
  • 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Bolt of Friendship vs. 252 HP / 180+ SpD Florges: 262-309 (72.7 - 85.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
this is how much spdef is left if florges has enough speed to get the jump on -1 pikachu, and it still can't ko back with moonblast for a pikachu with -1 spdef
  • 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Bolt of Friendship vs. 252 HP / 64+ SpD Sylveon: 325-384 (82.4 - 97.4%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
with the speed needed to speed creep -1 pikachu sylveon has a very unfavorable roll with stealth rock up
  • 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Bolt of Friendship vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Dragalge: 132-156 (39.5 - 46.7%) -- 31.3% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
  • 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Bolt of Friendship vs. 252 HP / 124+ SpD Gogoat: 222-262 (49.3 - 58.2%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO
  • 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Surf vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Steelix: 298-352 (84.1 - 99.4%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
  • 252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Hippowdon: 374-440 (89 - 104.7%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
and eternal pikachu also has a roll to ohko every ground-type by hitting them the next turn as it outspeeds all bar krookodile (which it can hit on the switch-in)

i honestly don't even know what to suggest with this one... i feel like 95 spa is already way too much even without the signature move, and with it it just nukes any and everything... i think you need to completely rework the signature move, and drop the offensive stats at least to the ~60-70 range with this speed tier?

you have 487 BST '^^ (you need to add 11 points)

the deadline for implementing changes is sunday 9pm utc

Fixed. Changes were as follows
  • Made Kilojolt a little more punishing to use with the -2 speed suggestion.
  • Took a point off Flechinder's special defense (I swear I had a calculator while doing this.)
  • Took a point off Noibat's Speed, and 14 points from it's special attack and moved them to special defense. I would take more from SpA, but I don't want to make it able to run physical sets, cause that just seems like more headache. More special defense also seems kinda stupid for it. Also clarified some stuff about sonar break, but simple answer is that it works how the showdown client does, in that items are revealed permanently when a battle message reveals the specific item a pokemon is holding. Lorb, Lefties, and Black Sludge reveal themselves when their unique message pops up, and using poltergeist on an opponent or frisking them reveals their item that way. Tricking an item onto an opponent also reveals items for both pokemon, because the showdown client reveals that.

You can go with a mixed approach and run Brave Bird for more consistency alo
