[OVERVIEW]

Chimecho separates itself from other Psychic-type Pokemon, such as Grumpig and Hypno, with its access to Recover and Healing Wish, allowing it to better check common threats such as Poliwrath and Roselia. It also has a varied movepool, consisting of with handy support moves, such as Heal Bell, Thunder Wave, and Taunt, giving it a niche over other Healing Wish users such as Mr. Mime and Clefairy. It also has Levitate, giving it an immunity to Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Ground-type attacks from Pokemon such as Piloswine and Torterra. However, Chimecho faces competition from Lickilicky, which boasts better bulk, and it is commonly walled by Dark-types, such as Pawniard and Mightyena. It also has a low Speed stat, which makes it vulnerable to Taunt users, such as Misdreavus and Grumpig, and it doesn't have much offensive presence, so it can't fit on many teams except defensive ones. It is also setup fodder for sweepers, such as Carracosta and Clefairy, unless it carries Taunt.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Healing Wish fully recovers a weakened teammate's HP. Recover reliably keeps Chimecho healthy throughout the match. Psychic is Chimecho's only attacking move and hits Fighting- and Poison-types, such as Poliwrath, Roselia, and Arbok, for super effective damage. Heal Bell can be handy to heal a teammate from burn, poison or paralysis. Thunder Wave cripples a Pokemon by lowering its Speed. Taunt cripples Pokemon that rely on non-attacking moves, preventing them from setting up entry hazards or inflicting Toxic, but because Chimecho is slow, it isn't as effective as Heal Bell or Thunder Wave.

Set Details
========

An EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD and a Calm nature maximizes Chimecho's special bulk, allowing it to take as many hits as possible from special attackers such as Simipour and Mr. Mime. Levitate gives Chimecho an immunity to Ground-type moves and prevents it from being crippled by Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Leftovers provides additional recovery, which can be handy to keep Chimecho healthy throughout the match.

Usage Tips
========

Switch Chimecho in on special attackers, such as Simipour and Raichu, or against Fighting-types, such as Poliwrath and Machoke, but be wary of Machoke's Knock Off, as it hits Chimecho for super effective damage. Chimecho should not be switching into strong physical attackers, such as Stoutland and Barbaracle, due to its mediocre physical bulk without investment. Chimecho should use Thunder Wave in order to cripple its foes early-game so that its teammates can revenge kill them more easily. Chimecho should be wary of using Healing Wish, as it could be needed later in the match, and it should use Healing Wish to restore cleaners and setup sweepers that lack a recovery move, such as Stoutland and Ursaring, rather than bulky walls. Chimecho should frequently use Recover in order to stay healthy. If Chimecho has Taunt, use it on Pokemon that it outspeeds, such as Piloswine and Quilladin, to prevent them from setting up entry hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes.

Team Options
========

Chimecho fits best on balanced or stall teams because of its passive nature and nice support movepool. Fighting-types, such as Poliwrath, can cover Dark- and Steel-types for Chimecho while it provides Healing Wish and Heal Bell utility in return. Wallbreakers, such as Stoutland and Ursaring, can take down physically defensive walls for Chimecho while it provides Healing Wish support. Revenge killers, such as Choice Scarf Raichu, can outspeed setup sweepers that use Chimecho as setup bait, such as Shell Smash Barbaracle. In return, Chimecho provides these teammates with Healing Wish and Heal Bell Support. Setup sweepers, such as Ninetales and Simipour, appreciate Healing Wish support from Chimecho in order to have a second chance at sweeping. Slow attackers, such as Torterra and Machoke, appreciate Thunder Wave support from Chimecho, as it helps them break walls more easily.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Chimecho could run Toxic in the fourth moveslot to rack up damage on opposing Pokemon and make it easier for other teammates to KO them. Knock Off can be used to remove the foe's item, but Chimecho has a low Attack stat and won't do much damage with the move. Chimecho could also run Wish, but it is outclassed as a Wish passer by Lickilicky, which boasts more bulk. Chimecho could run Yawn to force switches on Pokemon trying to stay in. Magic Coat allows Chimecho to bounce back Taunt and other status moves, but it is unreliable. Chimecho could use its slow Speed to run a Trick Room set with 0 Speed IVs and a Speed-decreasing nature. Cosmic Power may seem viable, but it should never be used on Chimecho, as it is weak to setup sweepers such as Nasty Plot Raichu and is very passive.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fast Taunt Users**: Faster Taunt users, such as Misdreavus and Grumpig, easily outspeed Chimecho and do not mind taking a Psychic. Additionally, the former has a super effective Shadow Ball, while the latter has Heal Bell to cure it from Thunder Wave.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types, such as Pawniard, are immune to Psychic. In particular, Pawniard can set up on Chimecho unless it carries Taunt, cripple it with Knock Off, or Pursuit trap it if it tries to switch out.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon, such as Lickilicky and Grumpig, can easily take a Psychic from Chimecho and have Heal Bell to heal paralysis. Lickilicky also has Oblivious, which prevents Chimecho from Taunting it.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types, such as Probopass and Klang, wall Chimecho, as they resist Psychic. The former can proceed to set up Stealth Rock, while the latter can set up with Shift Gear. However, both dislike taking a Taunt.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers, such as Torterra and Stoutland, can take a hit from Chimecho and deal quite a bit of damage back with their strong attacks. Also, the former is immune to Thunder Wave, and the latter can use paralysis to its advantage with a more powerful Facade.

Don't slash Healing Wish with anything, it's Chimecho's main niche. The set should be Healing Wish / Recover / Psychic / filler support moves. Name the set "Defensive Healing Wish" as well.

don't mention things to break walls when chimecho doesn't need to worry about walls (also physical wallbreakers don't beat special walls, special wallbreakers do)

mime doesn't outspeed +2 baracle, i know that's not what you mean but the way you word that sentence kind of implies it.

remove subcm from oo and add toxic, also mention cosmic power and explain why it's terrible because ladder randoms use that a lot fsr.

in c&c mention that setup sweepers hate twave

do this and i'll stamp.

remove screens from oo

when you talk about cosmic power in writeup, start by saying not to use it (like say "you may think this is a good idea but it's not) or something.

In the Overview, mention Lickilicky as well at it can pull off cleric support better due to its bulk. In Team Options, mention more Set up sweepers and wallbreakers that appreciate Chimecho's Healing Wish support. Mention Fighting-types as they can get rid of Dark- and Steel-types and they also appreciate Healing Wish support.

mention that to keep constantly checking attackers, chimecho should use recover often and stay healthy

mention chimecho fits best on balanced / stall teams and why
well machoke doesn't really care about heal bell support because guts boost is nice
Physical attackers, such as Stoutland and Ursaring can take down physically defensive walls for Chimecho while it provides Healing Wish. - this point doesn't have sense because chimecho isn't meant to sweep or anything, remove it
mention rather slow but strong attackers that appreciate twave support

add detail for most categories, aim at least for 2 lines in every point, you can add that most fast taunt users such as missy can also use chimecho as setup fodder. same goes for dark-types such as pawniard. in dark-types you can also say pawniard is able to pursuittrap chimecho.
in steel-types, klang doesn't dislike twave bc it can recover it off with rest most of the time
remove setup sweepers category, thunder wave is a pain for most of them and prevents them from sweeping, while taunt can block bulkier ones

Moves
========

Healing Wish fully recovers a weakened teammate's HP and removes any status affecting it (up to you if you want to include this), which can turn a game around completely (this last phrase is vague, so you could consider removing it or making it more specific). Recover is a reliable recovery move that allows it to heal any damage taken reliably keeps Chimecho healthy throughout the match (avoids repeating a form of "recover" and is technically more correct; recover doesn't heal literally any damage, only 50% of max HP). Psychic is Chimecho's only attack(might want to change to "STAB attack of choice" or something similar), which hits Fighting- and Poison-types, such as Poliwrath, Roselia, and Arbok, super effectively. Heal Bell heals the team from status and can be handy to heal a teammate from burn, poison and paralysis. Thunder Wave cripples a Pokemon,(RC) by lowering their its Speed and making them easier to kill. Taunt cripples Pokemon that try to use a rely on non-attacking moves, preventing them from setting up entry hazards from being set up or using Toxic damage, but since because Chimecho is slow, it isn't as effective as Heal Bell or Thunder Wave.

An EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD and a Calm nature maximizes Chimecho's special bulk,(AC) and allowing it to take as many hits as possible from special attackers such as Simipour and Mr. Mime. Leftovers provide additional recovery, which can be handy if Chimecho has lost a lot of damage (If you want, consider adding something along the lines of "helping to keep Chimecho healthy throughout the match").

Usage Tips
========

Switch Chimecho in on special attackers,(AC) such as Simipour and Raichu,(AC) or on and Fighting-types,(AC) such as Poliwrath and Machoke, but be wary of Machoke's Knock Off, as you aren't a fully safe switchin to it it hits Chimecho super effectively (this should be anything about Knock Off that causes Chimecho to not be a safe switch-in; I assume super effective damage is relevant, but add anything else you deem necessary). Chimecho should not be switching in to physical attackers,(AC) (specify what kind of physical attackers; I assume Machoke and Poliwrath are physical attackers, what makes these other ones different?) such as Stoutland and Barbaracle,(AC) due to its mediocre physical bulk without investment. Chimecho should use Thunder Wave in order to cripple its foes early-game,(RC) so that its teammates can revenge kill them more easily. Consider removing those phrases and adding a separate sentence here along the lines of "In return, Chimecho provides these teammates with Healing Wish and Heal Bell support."). Setup sweepers,(AC) such as Ninetales and Simipour,(AC) appreciate Healing Wish support from Chimecho in order to sweep more easily have a second chance at sweeping (assuming I understand the point here). Psychic is Chimecho's only attack(might want to change to "STAB attack of choice" or something similar), (change the whole thing to 'Psychic is Chimecho's only attacking move and hits etc; 'attacking move' is less ambiguous [yes I know 'attack' by definition means 'attacking move,' but some people still might get confused here and it's easier on the eyes] and the 'which' clause really rubs me the wrong way if it isn't adjacent to the word it governs) which hits Fighting- and Poison-types, such as Poliwrath, Roselia, and Arbok, super effectively. If you really want to emphasise the 'similar to' thing, it's better to just swap out 'such as' for 'like' tbqh. See also 'allowing it to take as many hits as possible from special attackers such as Simipour and Mr. Mime' a little before, where 'all special attackers' is objectively the case but I struggle to come up with what would make using no comma wrong here.) and is very passive.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types, such as Probopass and Klang,(AC) wall Chimecho, as they resist Psychic. The former can proceed to set(add space)up Stealth Rock, (AC) while the latter can set(add space)up with Shift Gear. However, both dislike taking a Taunt.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers, such as Torterra and Stoutland, can take a hit from Chimecho and deal quite a bit of damage back with their strong attacks. Also, (same here) the former is immune to Thunder Wave,(AC) and the latter can use it paralysis to its advantage with for a more powerful Facade.

[OVERVIEW]

Chimecho separates itself from other Psychic-type Pokemon,(AC) such as Grumpig and Hypno,(AC) with its access to Recover and Healing Wish, allowing it to better check common threats,(RC) such as Poliwrath and Roselia. It also has a varied movepool, consisting of Heal Bell, Thunder Wave, and Taunt, giving it a use niche over other Healing Wish users such as Mr. Mime and Clefairy. It also has Levitate, giving it an immunity to Spikes,(AC) and Toxic Spikes,(AC) and Ground-type attacks from Pokemon such as Piloswine and Torterra. However, Chimecho faces competition from Lickilicky, which boasts better bulk, and is commonly walled by Dark-types,(RC) such as Pawniard and Mightyena. It also has a slow (good :] ) Speed stat, so it can easily be taunted by Pokemon which makes it vulnerable to Taunt users, such as Misdreavus and Grumpig, and it doesn't have much offensive presence, so it can't fit in on many teams except defensive ones. It is also setup fodder for setup sweepers, such as Carracosta and Clefairy, unless it carries Taunt.

Moves
========

Healing Wish fully recovers a weakened teammate's HP and removes any status affecting it (up to you if you want to include this), which can turn a game around completely (this last phrase is vague, so you could consider removing it or making it more specific). Recover is a reliable recovery move that allows it to heal any damage taken reliably keeps Chimecho healthy throughout the match (avoids repeating a form of "recover" and is technically more correct; recover doesn't heal literally any damage, only 50% of max HP and bits like 'move X is a Y' are discouraged anyway if they don't add something new; we know Recover is a reliable recovery move, so you should state why you would bother running it).

Set Details
========

An EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD and a Calm nature maximizes ('An EV spread and a nature' is two things and therefore plural, so either change 'maximizes' to 'maximize' or change 'and' to 'with') Chimecho's special bulk,(AC) and allowing it to take as many hits as possible from special attackers such as Simipour and Mr. Mime. Levitate is Chimecho's only ability and gives Chimecho an immunity to Ground-type moves and (I assume this is relevant information, if not feel free to remove it) prevents it from being crippled by Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Leftovers provide additional recovery, which can be handy if Chimecho has lost a lot of damage (If you want, consider adding something along the lines of "helping to keep Chimecho healthy throughout the match").

Usage Tips
========

Chimecho should not be switching into (remove space) physical attackers,(AC) (specify what kind of physical attackers; I assume Machoke and Poliwrath are physical attackers, what makes these other ones different? just 'strong physical attackers' or something should be fine) such as Stoutland and Barbaracle,(AC) due to its mediocre physical bulk without investment. Chimecho should use Thunder Wave in order to cripple its foes early-game,(RC) so that its teammates can revenge kill them more easily. Chimecho should be wary of using Healing Wish too early (slight content clarification, if it's incorrect disregard), as it could be needed during later in the match, and it should use Healing Wish on cleaners and setup sweepers that lack a recovery move, such as Stoutland and Ursaring, rather than bulky walls. Chimecho should constantly frequently use Recover in order to heal damage taken and stay healthy. If Chimecho has Taunt, use it on Pokemon you it outspeeds, such as Quilladin and Piloswine and Quilladin, (order corresponding with hazards) to prevent them from setting up entry hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes.

Team Options
========

Chimecho fits best on balanced (this should be an adjective, so keep 'balanced'. Just like you wouldn't say 'an offense powerhouse', you don't say 'a balance team' either) or stall teams because of its passive nature and nice support movepool. Fighting-types, such as Poliwrath,(AC) can cover Dark-(add hyphen) and Steel-types for Chimecho while it provides Healing Wish and Heal Bell utility (in return? Specify how this relates to team options). Physical attackers, such as Stoutland and Ursaring,(AC) can take down physically defensive walls for Chimecho while it provides Healing Wish support (Again, how does this relate specifically to physical attacking teammates? Also, do you mean to say physical attackers are beating physical walls?). Revenge killers,(AC) such as Choice Scarf Raichu,(AC) can outspeed setup sweepers that use Chimecho as setup bait (assuming I understand the point here) such as Shell Smash Barbaracle while Chimecho provides Healing Wish support (Same as before; also, it gets a bit repetitive to add "while Chimecho provides HW support" at the end of every sentence. Slow attackers,(AC) such as Torterra and Machoke,(AC) appreciate Thunder Wave support from Chimecho as they can sweep it helps them wallbreak (I don't think slow attackers "sweep," but if that's exactly what you mean then keep it of course) more easily.

Other Options
=============

Alternatively, Chimecho could run Toxic in the fourth moveslot to rack up damage on opposing Pokemon and make it easier for other teammates to KO them. Chimecho could run Knock Off to remove the foe's item, but it has a weak low (same deal as 'slow Speed', a numerical value can't be weak) Attack stat and won't do much damage with the move. Chimecho could also run a Wishpassing set, but it is outclassed by the likes of (if there's other wishpassers that outclass Chimecho, keep that phrase) Lickilicky, which boasts more bulk. Chimecho could run Yawn to force switches on Pokemon trying to stay in. Chimecho could run Magic Coat allows Chimecho (the opening phrases are becoming monotonous, this isn't a technical change so you don't /need/ to keep it) to bounce back Taunt and other status moves, but it is unreliable heavily prediction-reliant. Chimecho could use its slow Speed to run a Trick Room set combined with 0 Speed IVs and a Speed decreasing nature. You may think that Cosmic Power Chimecho is may seem viable, but it should never be used, (AC) as it is weak to setup sweepers,(AC) such as Nasty Plot Raichu,(AC) (All relevant setup sweepers or just ones similar to NP Raichu? If only NP Raichu and similar sweepers, don't add the commas truth be told there's an overlap here because all setup sweepers are similar to NP Raichu in that they have a setup move, if you catch my drift... which is why there's quite a lot of cases where neither alternative is really wrong in my experience at least.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fast Taunt Users**: Faster Taunt users,(AC) such as Misdreavus and Grumpig,(AC) easily outspeed Chimecho,(RC) (also good :] )and do not mind taking a Psychic. Also,(use 'additionally' or something here, sentence-opening 'also' is too informal for an analysis) the former has a super effective Shadow Ball, while the latter has Heal Bell to cure it from Thunder Wave.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types, such as Pawniard, are immune to Psychic. In particular, Pawniard especially can set up(Add Space)on Chimecho unless it carries Taunt, straight away cripple it with Knock Off, or Pursuit trap it if it tries to switch out.
