[OVERVIEW]
Chimecho separates itself from other Psychic-type Pokemon, such as Grumpig and Hypno, with its access to Recover and Healing Wish, allowing it to better check common threats such as Poliwrath and Roselia. It also has a varied movepool, consisting of with handy support moves, such as Heal Bell, Thunder Wave, and Taunt, giving it a niche over other Healing Wish users such as Mr. Mime and Clefairy. It also has Levitate, giving it an immunity to Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Ground-type attacks from Pokemon such as Piloswine and Torterra. However, Chimecho faces competition from Lickilicky, which boasts better bulk, and it is commonly walled by Dark-types, such as Pawniard and Mightyena. It also has a low Speed stat, which makes it vulnerable to Taunt users, such as Misdreavus and Grumpig, and it doesn't have much offensive presence, so it can't fit on many teams except defensive ones. It is also setup fodder for sweepers, such as Carracosta and Clefairy, unless it carries Taunt.

Moves
========
Healing Wish fully recovers a weakened teammate's HP. Recover reliably keeps Chimecho healthy throughout the match. Psychic is Chimecho's only attacking move and hits Fighting- and Poison-types, such as Poliwrath, Roselia, and Arbok, for super effective damage. Heal Bell can be handy to heal a teammate from burn, poison or paralysis. Thunder Wave cripples a Pokemon by lowering its Speed. Taunt cripples Pokemon that rely on non-attacking moves, preventing them from setting up entry hazards or inflicting Toxic, but because Chimecho is slow, it isn't as effective as Heal Bell or Thunder Wave.
Set Details
========
An EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD and a Calm nature maximizes Chimecho's special bulk, allowing it to take as many hits as possible from special attackers such as Simipour and Mr. Mime. Levitate gives Chimecho an immunity to Ground-type moves and prevents it from being crippled by Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Leftovers provides additional recovery, which can be handy to keep Chimecho healthy throughout the match.
Usage Tips
========
Switch Chimecho in on special attackers, such as Simipour and Raichu, or against Fighting-types, such as Poliwrath and Machoke, but be wary of Machoke's Knock Off, as it hits Chimecho for super effective damage. Chimecho should not be switching into strong physical attackers, such as Stoutland and Barbaracle, due to its mediocre physical bulk without investment. Chimecho should use Thunder Wave in order to cripple its foes early-game so that its teammates can revenge kill them more easily. Chimecho should be wary of using Healing Wish, as it could be needed later in the match, and it should use Healing Wish to restore cleaners and setup sweepers that lack a recovery move, such as Stoutland and Ursaring, rather than bulky walls. Chimecho should frequently use Recover in order to stay healthy. If Chimecho has Taunt, use it on Pokemon that it outspeeds, such as Piloswine and Quilladin, to prevent them from setting up entry hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes.
Team Options
========
Chimecho fits best on balanced or stall teams because of its passive nature and nice support movepool. Fighting-types, such as Poliwrath, can cover Dark- and Steel-types for Chimecho while it provides Healing Wish and Heal Bell utility in return. Wallbreakers, such as Stoutland and Ursaring, can take down physically defensive walls for Chimecho while it provides Healing Wish support. Revenge killers, such as Choice Scarf Raichu, can outspeed setup sweepers that use Chimecho as setup bait, such as Shell Smash Barbaracle. In return, Chimecho provides these teammates with Healing Wish and Heal Bell Support. Setup sweepers, such as Ninetales and Simipour, appreciate Healing Wish support from Chimecho in order to have a second chance at sweeping. Slow attackers, such as Torterra and Machoke, appreciate Thunder Wave support from Chimecho, as it helps them break walls more easily.

Other Options
=============
Chimecho could run Toxic in the fourth moveslot to rack up damage on opposing Pokemon and make it easier for other teammates to KO them. Knock Off can be used to remove the foe's item, but Chimecho has a low Attack stat and won't do much damage with the move. Chimecho could also run Wish, but it is outclassed as a Wish passer by Lickilicky, which boasts more bulk. Chimecho could run Yawn to force switches on Pokemon trying to stay in. Magic Coat allows Chimecho to bounce back Taunt and other status moves, but it is unreliable. Chimecho could use its slow Speed to run a Trick Room set with 0 Speed IVs and a Speed-decreasing nature. Cosmic Power may seem viable, but it should never be used on Chimecho, as it is weak to setup sweepers such as Nasty Plot Raichu and is very passive.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Fast Taunt Users**: Faster Taunt users, such as Misdreavus and Grumpig, easily outspeed Chimecho and do not mind taking a Psychic. Additionally, the former has a super effective Shadow Ball, while the latter has Heal Bell to cure it from Thunder Wave.
**Dark-types**: Dark-types, such as Pawniard, are immune to Psychic. In particular, Pawniard can set up on Chimecho unless it carries Taunt, cripple it with Knock Off, or Pursuit trap it if it tries to switch out.
**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon, such as Lickilicky and Grumpig, can easily take a Psychic from Chimecho and have Heal Bell to heal paralysis. Lickilicky also has Oblivious, which prevents Chimecho from Taunting it.
**Steel-types**: Steel-types, such as Probopass and Klang, wall Chimecho, as they resist Psychic. The former can proceed to set up Stealth Rock, while the latter can set up with Shift Gear. However, both dislike taking a Taunt.
**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers, such as Torterra and Stoutland, can take a hit from Chimecho and deal quite a bit of damage back with their strong attacks. Also, the former is immune to Thunder Wave, and the latter can use paralysis to its advantage with a more powerful Facade.
