Name: Hariyama-Goalkeeper
Egg Group: Human-like
Stats: 144/120/60/40/60/
84
Type: Fighting/
Fire
New Moves: Pyro Ball, Sucker Punch, Flame Charge, U-Turn, Court Change
Abilities: Thick Fat/
Libero/Sheer Force
Dex Entry: A variety of Hariyama trained in sport instead of martial arts. Their large hands are effective at intercepting incoming attacks, whether in battle or on the field.
Competitive Description: Sheer Force Pyro Ball will hit like a truck, and Libero plus its plethora of coverage moves should allow for good versatility. Thick Fat will be very niche, but will be a Pokemon with high HP and 4x resistance to both Fire and Ice.
Name: Archaludon-Bifrost
Egg Group: Mineral
Stats: 90/105/130/125/
108/85
Type:
Rock/Dragon
New Moves: Ancient Power, Dazzling Gleam, Explosion, Power Gem, Rock Polish
Abilities:
Clear Body/Sturdy/Stalwart
Dex Entry: Some Archaludon have been found in the depths of Area Zero, feeding off of the Terastylization energy and becoming crystalline themselves. Some say that standing on an Archaludon bridge while in this crystaline form will bring good fortune.
Competitive Description: Losing Stamina makes it harder for this Pokemon to snowball, in exchange for a significantly improved Special Defense. Rock typing and lack of recovery should make it manageable, while tools like Rock Polish and STAB Meteor Beam should make it offensively interesting.
Name: Flygon-Boomer
Egg Group: Dragon
Stats: 80/100/80/
108/80/100
Type: Ground/
Normal
New Moves: Calm Mind, Glare, Ice Beam, Play Rough, Thunderbolt
Abilities: Levitate/
Berserk
Dex Entry: No one is certain how old this variant of Flygon is. Some say they have lived for hundreds of years. Despite their age they still care for the young, often seen at daycares entertaining children and Pokemon.
Competitive Description: STAB Boomburst, what more do I need to say? Normal/Ground is a typing only on physical attackers, so the option for it on a special attacker should add some unique tools to the meta. Still has access to its classic Dragon Dance sets for those that would rather go that route, but Calm Mind + Boomburst is probably the way to go.
Name: Manectric-Bloated
[can Mega Evolve]
Egg Group: Field
Stats:
120/75/60/105/60/105 ( ->
120/75/80/135/80/135)
Type: Electric/
Water
New Moves: Aqua Ring, Ice Beam, Scald, Surf, Water Spout
Abilities: Static/Lightning Rod/
Oblivious ( -> Intimidate)
Dex Entry: This Pokemon is sometimes spotted during thunderstorms at sea. It can swim at speeds up to 100 miles an hour.
Competitive Description: Mega Lanturn. Water/Electric with an Electric immunity is a very good defensive typing, and adding Ice Beam, Water moves, and a massive HP boost to Mega Manectric should make it very good at taking advantage of its 135 Special Attack and Speed.
Name: Glalie-Storm Sphere
[can Mega Evolve]
Egg Group: Fairy
Stats: 80/80/80/80/80/
95 ( -> 80/120/80/120/80/
115)
Type: Ice/
Electric
New Moves: Extreme Speed, Knock Off, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch, Volt Tackle
Abilities: Inner Focus/Ice Body/
Lightning Rod ( -> Refrigerate)
Dex Entry: Stories tell of a Snorunt that climbed to the top of a tall peak and was struck by lightning. That Pokemon supposedly evolved to become a powerful Glalie that could control the elements.
Competitive Description: Physical BoltBeam is not something you see often but should work well. With Volt Tackle, Double Edge/Return, and now Extreme Speed, Mega Glalie should be a scary physical attacker held back by the number of hits it can safely dish out.
