This is a balanced team built around CM + Rest Primal Kyogre and Band Ho-Oh. The defensive core of the team is Arceus Rock + Dark + Poison. Arceus-Rock is the Rayquaza and Yveltal switch in and Arceus-Dark deals with Dusk Mane, Ultra Necrozma and Primal Groudon. Arceus-Poison is the Xerneas, Arceus-Fairy and Marshadow check. Arceus-Dark and Arceus-Poison have Defog and Arceus-Rock is the Stealth Rock user and also has Perish Song to stop baton pass. Rayquaza is scarfed so it can revenge kill fast pokemons like Marshadow and Gengar.
(this is gen7 jbtw)
final day to submit a core is friday
have fun!

loses w/ ease to cm elec arc. it comes in on dark arc, rock arc, bird locked into flying move, ray locked into flying move, v create, surf, or draco, AND sleeping ogre, or an ogre that hasn't set up yet. the only thing that rly has a chance of scaring it out is poison arc or smth, w/ the risk of poison from pjab, but otherwise, literally what stops this from setting up, lol.

Sure, I'll take a stab at this. Arceus-Poison is Purple Gatorade's primary Xerneas check, and therefore is susceptible to being trapped by Gothitelle. Once Arceus-Poison has been removed from play by Gothitelle, this gives Xerneas a lot of breathing room to sweep late-game. Notably, Gothitelle can also trap and Taunt Arceus-Dark, forcing it to KO Gothitelle and allow Xerneas a free switch-in to set up with Geomancy.

Srsly, stop bringing teams that are this solid if you want serious noms. With this kind of teams you just get cores from top-players or cteams/memes from other players that outright suck. Might be just my opinion, but eh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Best smh viable core i came up with was a gimmicky sub-lo mray + defensive fairyceus... Ray can set up against poisonceus if you predict the switch-in on fairyceus. Fairyceus pretty much walls everything except for ogre and poisonceus. Cteaming Cm-Ogre with Roar on Fairyceus, which also switches in on that Ray. With the right team you might set up with Ray and win ig.

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Rock Polish
- Precipice Blades
- Stone Edge

Double dance groudon is a big threat, it beats Ho-Oh, thanks to Stone Edge and beats/comes in/sets up vs Pogre (in desolate land), rockceus, poisonceus and Rayquaza if its locked into surf or draco meteor (again, in desolate land).
The main reason to run Groudon is to get massive chip on Pogre, so that our second pokemon, Rockceus, can sweep the team.
This team cannot really beat cm Rockceus after POgre is chipped. My set also has refresh so that we dont get poisoned by Poison jab and Ho-Oh's toxic on switch in. The opposing rockceus could perish song to force our rockceus out, but CM has wayy more PP than Perish song, so this is not an issue either.

relevant calcs:
Rockceus and Pdon OHKO Ho-Oh with judg and edge respectively.

252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Kyogre-Primal: 213-252 (52.7 - 62.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 144 SpA Stone Plate Arceus-Rock Judgment vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Kyogre-Primal: 169-201 (41.8 - 49.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO > good damage
144 SpA Stone Plate Arceus-Rock Judgment vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Kyogre-Primal: 114-135 (28.2 - 33.4%) -- 0% chance to 3HKO

Groudon 2hkos POgre and chips it enough so that rockceus can come in later vs anything and ohko it at +1 boost

Poisonceus and Darkceus cant really do anything to Rockceus lol
PDon beats poisonceus and rockceus. FSR, the darkceus on this team isnt ev'd to outspeed groudon so thats cool for us.

Rayquaza loses 1v1 to Rockceus even if it surfs, too lazy to c/p the calc sry

changing core after realising I robbed nehtri

cm ground just needs ho-oh gone and pogre chipped to be able to clean purple’s team, which is where sd ground comes in. the idea of the core is to lure ho-oh, ohko it with sedge, and try to force pogre in and get damage off on it. after that, cm ground can set-up on all three of the arceus without much difficulty. the core can lose to ray and ogre if it isn’t played correctly, but if it isn’t played too conservatively, it should be able to win. smth like sub sd steelceus can be used to lure ho-oh more effectively, at the cost of being unable to get enough chip on pogre. double ground can also break stuff like cele balance easily.

+2 252 Atk Arceus-Ground Tectonic Rage (180 BP) vs. 248 HP / 228+ Def Kyogre-Primal: 436-514 (108.1 - 127.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Arceus-Ground Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 228+ Def Kyogre-Primal: 243-286 (60.2 - 70.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 0 SpA Earth Plate Arceus-Ground Judgment vs. 248 HP / 32 SpD Kyogre-Primal: 147-174 (36.4 - 43.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

just smack poisonceus and rockceus around a bit with luna and have a cool set up with cm fairyceus, and maybe install double hazards within the team for added pressure. the team is weak to zLuna with CM and by far, most teams are now a days. I think more teams should incorporate z luna. have fun

+1 252+ SpA Lunala Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom vs. 252 HP / 52 SpD Ho-Oh: 370-436 (88.9 - 104.8%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery (yes i know its not the set in the team, just a general reference)

I know this core will not be voted for, but it was just too tempting for me to put a Gastrodon core. There is not too much to say about this. Gastrodon provides a safe switch- in to defensive ogre and can easily toxic stall arceus dark and arceus rock. Earth Power lets it hit poison as well. Confide stops kyogre from setting up. Cm Arceus rock is eved bold with minimal speed and defenses to better take the potential surf from scarf mega ray and earthquake from ho-oh. Once kyogre is weakened enough or asleep, arceus rock can do its job. Refresh is insurance for the potential toxic from ho-oh.

Notable Calcs:
0 SpA Rayquaza-Mega Surf vs. 252 HP / 100 SpD Arceus-Rock: 170-202 (38.2 - 45.4%) -- 9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Ho-Oh Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 132+ Def Arceus-Rock: 250-296 (56.3 - 66.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Ho-Oh Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 132+ Def Arceus-Rock: 112-132 (25.2 - 29.7%) -- 1.5% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
0 SpA Gastrodon Earth Power vs. 248 HP / 156 SpD Arceus-Poison: 134-162 (30.2 - 36.5%) -- 51.5% chance to 3HKO

Final Note: I really wanted to use the core Solrock + Gastrodon, but surf on mega ray and toxic unfortunately ruined that.
