it's not about my winrate, nono, that's all legitimate

this is about something far graver

you see, it's no coincidence that v and i did battle in the shadow realm, and that this should come up now

what you might not know is that his absence stems from a quest to that forbidden realm, to the Great Under — and that he and i undertook that quest together

it was determined that in order to keep that threat imprisoned, we must maintain balance between the realm of light (our world) and the realm of dark (The Umbra Zone), and in order to keep this balance in check, that there must always be one of us on each side of this threshold

for you see, in doing battle, if one of us were to be the inverse equivalent to the other, the loser would be banished to the shadow realm by the powers of the universe in an effort to separate the two equal forces
