i've tried it but the loss of protect wasn't worth it, it's really only there as a lure and to help bulky offense, EQ is there to deal with the biggest phazer it can and that's heatran (as no matter what it does, there's no way it's dealing with skarmory)
i actually used to use megahorn on the set as a top to deo-d HO but it was too reliant on that archetype to be good and EQ has been proven to be much more useful.
pair this up with any CM pokemon and you pretty much win the game if you can pass one Iron Defense boost. It's a lure set as a lot of heatrans will come in once they see a boosting Scolipede. It's a lure option and the spread i give is the only way to guarantee the OHKO. I probably could take the Life Orb off of it since it does 99.4% minimum without life orb
also, if it's balloon heatran, it's most likely not going to carry roar as heatran really needs those lefties for stalling shenanigans and this scolipede set is not popular enough to make balloon heatran with roar a top option
