Kangaskhan @ Leftovers
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Facade
- Wish
- Power-Up Punch
- Protect

Kanga takes any hits, immune to Hex and likes the boost with Facade, combined with the fact it can use Wish + Tect for recovery. Facade kills no matter what, but it can also PuP in order to set up and win late game. Overall Kanga is a counter.

252 SpA Rotom Thunderbolt vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Kangaskhan: 144-169 (36.8 - 43.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Kangaskhan Facade (140 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Rotom: 252-297 (104.1 - 122.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Lickilicky @ Leftovers
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk/ 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Knock Off
- Heal Bell

It's my unofficial duty to hype Lickilicky, so here goes <:^) Counter af

Lickilicky is immune to Hex and Shadow Ball, can use Heal Bell to remove burns and shrugs off Thunderbolt. In return, it 2HKOs Rotom with Knock Off and can easily outlast it in a war of attrition through Wish.

(Also, Knock Off can even hit Rotom respectably through a burn on the first hit, I was surprised calcing that)

252 SpA Rotom Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Lickilicky: 88-105 (20.7 - 24.7%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

Clefairy @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder Wave/ Stored Power
- Moonblast

Clefairy has magic guard so it doesnt take damage from burn thunderbolt and shadow ball do little to no damage and after 1 cm no move can 2hko it. Clefairy can use rotom as a setup fodder 1v1 and kill it with moonblast however it can have a hard time switching in.

EVs: 248 HP / 148 Def / 112 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball / Bullet Seed
- Spikes / Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave

Ferroseed can punish Barbaracle if it uses Razor Shell or Return against it, and takes around 20% from Earthquake without a boost and can do some damage with Gyro Ball or paralyze it. If it has Bullet Seed then great, but it's not great apparently.

0 Atk Ferroseed Gyro Ball (117 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Barbaracle: 66-78 (23.1 - 27.3%) -- 49% chance to 4HKO

Thanks to Unaware, Quagsire doesn't have to worry at all about Shell Smash from Barbaracle and thanks to its high Defense stat, it can take three Razor Shells and 2HKO Barbaracle with Earthquake.

Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off

Gurdurr as a check. Due to Eviolite and an already pretty decent physical bulk, Gurdurr can tank whatever hit Barbaracle may throw after Shell Smashing and KO back with either Drain Punch or the combination of Drain Punch + Mach Punch.

+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Barbaracle Razor Shell vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Gurdurr: 237-279 (63.3 - 74.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Offensive:
With it's great typing + ability poli is immune to barb's main stab. Good natural bulk + a bit of investment allows it to take any +2 hit barb wants to throw at it w/o rocks up. In return poli can ohko it with focus blast or if it's at -1 sp def, 2 vacuum waves.

Reserving Vileplume
nvm screw Vileplume I'm sayin' Torterra is a counter

torterra.gif

Torterra just wins no matter what, even against Barbarcle at +2, assuming we're switching in on a Shell Smash, and then OHKO's with Wood Hammer. It can also heal off damage it's taken with Synthesis, helping it last longer against Barbaracle. (Also, boltsandbombers you disgrace Barbaracle by running Return > Stone Edge you fool. This is not Klinklang we're talking about.)

Quilladin @ Eviolite
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Wood Hammer
- Synthesis
- Roar

Quilladin's able to withstand a Shell Smash boosted Return which only deals around less than 50% on average which makes it a good check. And thanks to it's grass stab it's always able to take Barbaracle out with Wood Hammer. Synthesis acts as semi-reliable recovery and Roar forces a switch.

+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Barbaracle Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Quilladin: 140-165 (42.9 - 50.6%) -- 2.3% chance to 2HKO

(Also, boltsandbombers you disgrace Barbaracle by running Return > Stone Edge you fool. This is not Klinklang we're talking about.)
Just saw this but Return is actually really good simply because it gives Barbaracle an actually accurate move to clean up with, and with Tough Claws it only does slightly less than Stone Edge to neutral targets which is usually negligible. It also has near-perfect coverage with Razor Shell, so the only real use for Stone Edge I can think of is to hit Pelipper and Gourgeist-S (Super still beats you), neither of which are that common. Stone Edge still has merits but Return is far from "disgracing," lol. In all honestly I'd rather use Edge > EQ than replace Return.

Also it wasn't really necessary to call bolts a fool :(

The last two slots doesn't matter, as you only really need the first 2. Well, thanks to Kecleon extremely good SDef for an offensive mon, it can tank every hit from Mismagius' coverage (as he's immune to Shadow Ball on the switch) and just hit back with Knock Off for the KO against LO or Knock Off + Shadow Sneak against Colbur. In both scenarios, you'll only get hit once by a +2 Dazzling Gleam or twice by an unboosted one. I know it learns Sucker Punch, but why force 5050 when you can just straight out KO lol

Pyroar's typing and speed allows it to effectively check mismagius, it can take any attack that isn't a +2 Hidden Power Ground and in return ohko it with an overheat or kill it off with fire blast after 1 life orb hit. However +2 hp ground ohkos it so that is something you have to play around.

Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature

Despite being cute this monster comepletely counters Combusken, because of the ability Flash Fire and his typing Ghost is Combusken not even able to touch it like at all.
So Lampent is free to set up a Trick Room or just fire off a Shadow Ball without concerning to get hitted.
