Overview
#######
Vaporeon is a great Pokemon in the UnderUsed tier. It has a great HP stat so it can pass large Wishes to teammates, (AC) and it has a good Special Defense and decent Defense to compliement its bulk this (changed "bulk" to "this" because its SpD and Def are part of its bulk). It has access to great supportive moves such as Heal Bell, (AC) which allows it to act like as a cleric, (AC) and Baton Pass, (AC) which can retain momentum and it works well with Wish. Water Absorb allows it Vaporeon to gain some free switches-(remove hyphen)ins, (AC) and it pairs well with a lot of Pokemon. (if this last part is referring to Vaporeon pairing well with a lot of Pokémon then I'd suggest changing the order so that it's more clearly referring to Vaporeon - something like "Vaporeon pairs well with a lot of Pokemon, and Water Absorb allows it to gain some free switches") (there's bound to be some notable negative traits that Vaporeon has that can be mentioned in the Overview, such as being setup fodder if it lacks Roar?)

Scald is a great move on bulky Water-types, with has a high burn chance and it does decent damage coming off Vaporeon's high Special Attack stat. It is a spammable move, (AC) and burns can help whatever position point of the game you may be in. Wish provides Vaporeon and its teammates with recovery and can allow it to give free switches to other pokemon or help weakened teammates or heal them if they are weakened. Protect allows Vaporeon to scout for moves, recover from Leftovers, get crash damage on Mienshao, (AC) and get the a Wish off. In addition, it also allows you to scout Choiced(add hyphen)-locked Pokemon and switch in to the appropriate teammate after seeing their move. Heal Bell is to gets rid of all status effects that may be in your team might've been inflicted with, while Roar may be used to phazes opposing Pokemon out and prevents Vaporeon from being set-(remove hyphen)up bait. Baton Pass can gain momentum, (AC) and if you Vaporeon moves last in the second turn, it can heal team members can be healed (admittedly I'm going from active voice to passive voice here, but I feel like it fits) up at no cost if you it used used Wished the previous turn. Ice Beam hits Pokemon like such as Chesnaught, Hydreigon, (AC) and Haxorus, (AC) which resist its Vaporeon's STAB moves, and the latter (Vaporeon was last mentioned before latter so it would be referred to) with Haxorus also being able to can set up on it. Toxic can also be used to cripple switch-ins or stall alongside Wish and Protect. (add full stop/period)
Set Details
========
The EV spread is to maximizes Vaporeon's mixed overall bulk. A Bold nature lets it takes the on likes of Darmanitan, Mienshao, Krookodile, (AC) and other physical attackers on better, while Calm can be used to help stand up to Pokemon such as Nidoqueen, Hydreigon, Nidoking, and Mega Blastoise and other strong special attackers ("such as" already gives the impression that the mentioned mons are just examples and that there are others). Leftovers are there for grants Vaporeon extra recovery and it is great on bulky Pokemon.
Usage Tips
========
Vaporeon can be sent in on a wall or weak Pokemon so it can recover its health or help teammates heal up. When it is facing an offensive Pokemon at a good amount of health, Scald should be used with its high burn chance and decent damage. Heal Bell should be used to help your Vaporeon's teammates when they are crippled with status. Note:, (AC) though if you have a Guts user with a statused, you may have to make a choice between weakening it or healing teammates.
Team Options
========
Vaporeon works well on balanced teams which appreciate Wish and cleric support and clerics work well with this pokemon. Vaporeon's can go weaknesses are covered well in a Fire/Water/Grass core with Pokemon such as Entei, Infernape, Darmanitan, Chandelure, Roserade, Shaymin, and Whimsicott and more. Grass types resist its weaknesses and Vaporeon can deal with their fire weaknesses making this core even better. The fire-types can deal with the grass weakness as well but they are not very bulky meaning they should not switch in repeatedly on them: especially with the weakness to Stealth Rock. Vaporeon can pair well with Stealth Rock setters; (add semicolon) such as for example, Mega Aggron and Forretress, as it resists covers their Fire weaknesses and provides Wish support, (AC) which they appreciate as none of them they do not have reliable recovery. (changed this to make it clearer that Mega Aggron and Forry have the Fire weaknesses covered and appreciate Wish support as opposed to these traits applying to all Stealth Rock setters) In addition, they defensive steel types can take the super-effective Grass-type moves for Vaporeon. Draglalge appreciates Wish support from Vaporeon, (AC) as hazards can wear it down, and it resists Electric- and Grass-type moves, (AC) which are super effective on Vaporeon. Hydreigon and Mega Ampharos are alternative Dragon-types whoich also have good type synergy and they both work well with it with Vaporeon.
Other Options
#######
A spread of 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD with a Bold nature may can be used to give it Vaporeon slightly more rounded bulk. A Baton Pass set with moves such as Substitute and Curse can work to an extent as it can pass boosts to teammates. Haze can be used as a another way to deal with bulky set(remove hyphen)up Pokemon such as CurseLax and Calm Mind Reuniclus, (AC) as Roar's negative with its minus priority gives them a chance to attack you Vaporeon, but Roar is usually better (possibly state why it is usually better) and it can mess with their opponent's switch-ins as well. (add full stop/period)
Checks and Counters

**Bulky Water-types** :(add colon) Other Vaporeon is walled it by opposing Vaporeon, (AC) (I guess this is pretty subjective on my part, but I've switched from active to passive voice here because I feel that "Vaporeon is walled by opposing Vaporeon" flows better than "Opposing Vaporeon wall Vaporeon") and Suicune can set-(remove hyphen and add space)up on it and PP stall it with Pressure, (RC) if you don't it doesn't have Roar. (add full stop/period)
**Set-(remove hyphen)up sweepers**:(add colon) Many Pokemon can use non-Roar Vaporeon variants as set-(remove hyphen)up bait and proceed from there to sweep your team. Toxicroak is a pokemon that can set-(remove hyphen and add a space)up on it easily with its Water immunity., (full stop/period -> comma) and Calm Mind users take its Vaporeon's attacks very well and can deal huge damage back to it after boosts. (add full stop/period)
**Grass-types**:(add colon) Roserade can cause major trouble to it Vaporeon, as Sleep Powder cripples it, (AC) and while Giga Drain/ and Leaf Storm deal massive damage to it, with the latter Giga Drain allowing Roserade to recovering from possible Life Orb damage. Whimsicott with Encore or Taunt can ruin it Vaporeon without Ice Beam, (AC) and offensive variants can easily recover from Scald damage with Giga Drain. Mega Abomasnow can set up easily or attack it Vaporeon with super effective STAB moves. Shaymin does massive damage with Seed Flare and has great 100/100 special bulk to take Ice Beam. Chesnaught can use Leech Seed and sap its Vaporeon's massive HP or just lay down Spikes, (AC) but it is fearful of burns, (AC) as they can wear it down. (full stop/period)
**Electric-types**:(add colon) Even with Ice Beam, Mega Ampharos takes its hits from Vaporeon well and does an enormous chunk of damage to it. Electric-(add hyphen)types can also use Volt Switch, (AC) which that either takes a chunk out of Vaporeon's health or gains momentum for the opposing team.
