This is a sequel of UUbers Swiss, which was discord-only tournament from before we were smogon recognized. From experienced players from its roots to Smogon folk curious about the format and everybody in between, this tournament is for you! About Swiss Format
This tournament uses a Swiss format, where everyone plays as long as they can make knockout bracket. The knockout bracket will be single elimination, with size depending on playercount. All matches will be a Best of 3 in SV Ubers UU.
Once Round X concludes, there will be a non-perfect amount of players qualified (with some X-3 score or better) for Playoffs. Seeding will prioritize ranking, with players who achieved a qualifying record being seeded higher the earlier they qualified. Within ranks, these players will be ranked by Resistance, which is the cumulative win percentage all of their opponents throughout the Swiss phase. The exact number of weeks and number of wins will be dependent on signups

- Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokémon.
- Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
- Evasion Clause: A player cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize in their Pokémon's movesets.
- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
- Team Preview: Players must turn on the Team Preview feature where players can view the opposing team's Pokémon and choose their lead Pokémon.
- Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
- Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any Pokémon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play. Check this thread for more information.
- Baton Pass Clause: The move Baton Pass is banned outright.
About Activity Decisions
Activity Decisions / Coin Flips: In the event that there is an uncompleted match at the deadline, it will be coin flipped unless one or both of the players involved in the match specifically request an activity win and explain sufficiently why they deserve to win over their opponent. Attempting to schedule a battle is required in order to receive the win by activity. To make it clear that you are requesting an activity win when you post, you must open your post with "Activity Win Request" in bold.
For example, if you believe your opponent is making an unfair request and that they don't deserve the activity win over you, you can either make your own request or quote their post and explain why they don't deserve it. You should try to make your activity win request posts at least 24 hours before the deadline to give your opponent a reasonable opportunity to contest it with their own activity win request.
Host discretion will be applied for all unplayed games. This means that an activity win will not be automatically granted if you post, and a lack of post does not automatically result in a coinflip.

About MagBucks and Bets
Magbucks are a currency for this tournament that you may accumulate through activity, or by betting on the outcomes of tournament games. Every player gets 100 Magbucks, plus 100 more every week they play their sets or place bets. You do not have to be in the tour to earn Magbucks.
In a style similar to twitch-chat predictions, your winnings on a bet is proportional to the amount you contributed to your side of the pot. For example, if I put 100 in to up my side of a bet to 1000 vs the opposing sides 1500, I own 10% of my side. When my side wins, I gain (1000+1500)*10%=250 magbucks.
You may place as many bets as you have magbucks (no cents or fractions) in a given week. Bets will be handled in separate thread. You have up to 3 hours before the match is posted to place your bets, and any bets placed after the window has closed will not be counted. You may not change your bet once posted. Any attempt at betting manipulation can lead to a DQ from the entire tour.
The person who earns the most magbucks by the end of the tour may co-commentate or co-write the Ubers UU youtube video about the tour.
Signups end October 6th at 9PM -5! Signups may be extended if there is a continual surge of signups and will be updated in the OP.
