a trash can is a perfect partner for regieleki, as it is unviable garage that belongs in the trash. The trash can will protect eleki from the hate of the underused community and provide a safe place of warmth in the cold nightmare known as the D rank on the VR

kill me now (Klefki) @ Ring Target
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Switcheroo
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
- Dazzling Gleam

Come on Monky25 at least be a bit less rude :psycry:

Anyway, every gimmick team would have to have a Ring Target user like Klefki, so here we are. At least you do significant damage to Rhyperior before you die a miserable death to EQ.

252 SpA Choice Specs Transistor Regieleki Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Rhyperior: 285-336 (65.6 - 77.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 248 HP / 216 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- King's Shield
- Toxic
- Shadow Ball

Aegi can draw in ground types, most notably Krookodile and sometimes Nidoking and proceed to respectively toxic and shadow ball for chip. It can also deal decently well with grass types not named Zarude. It pairs better with Sub Tect Regieleki (the one roughly viable set) since you get to toxic the Rhyp/Krook/Tangrowth early on then sit on it w/ Substitute and Protect + potential Thunder Cage damage ; but chipping the ground and the grass is useful for any Regieleki set.

Pyookmoo-ku (Pincurchin) @ Terrain Extender
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Rising Voltage
- Spikes
- Sucker Punch
- Memento

Let's be honest the moves don't matter - just set up terrain and let this bad Regi do more damage (this is a bad Regi set). Sure Rising Voltage on Regi would be better with this team, but any ground type is going to make it sad anyways.

UU low ladder is the best partner for regieleki because its the reason why its even being nominated for C+ or higher and saving it from dropping to RU in a swift quick drop. They abuse it with niche stuff such as switcheroo klefki, used as a electric attacker on rain (why you are not using thundurus-t), as a rapid spinner. Low ladder loves to abuse regieleki and the lack of metagame knowledge the opponents have of having a ground type or do not not know to not sack the ground type especially if your team is destroyed by it. These replays show how regieleki loves to be paired with low ladder as they can use it with not that many consequences of bringing it.

thank you everyone for your submissions and votes! Klefki is the winner of this round, and if you check i did in fact update the archives up until last week! Now, onto the next round!

Week 17! - Choice Band Azumarill

:ss/azumarill:

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Liquidation
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Ice Punch

Azumarill is an offensive powerhouse and effective wallbreaker when equipped with a Choice Band thanks to Huge Power, and has recently been on the rise with the recent shifts. It's speed and frailty does make it a little bit hard to work with, but with the right support Azumarill can effectively clean teams up. You have 5 days to submit, good luck!

edit: changed the set because i accidentally grabbed the BW one, oops!

That previous set had me dying :blobastonished:
:ss/rotom heat:
Rotom-Heat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Toxic/Defog
- Pain Split

I think this is a good partner because :Azumarill: is prediction reliant vs walls like :Amoonguss: and :Tangrowth:, hence they gotta be pressured. Heat on the other hand struggles with bulky :Salamence:, :Nihilego:, :Rhyperior:, etc, and Azu mortally threatens them. They have decent type synergy as well, with azu resisting water, and heat resisting electric, grass, etc.

Have a good day:blobwizard:

U-Turn Moltres
:ss/moltres:
Moltres @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Roost

Basically you just u-turn in everything that wants to come into moltres. This includes but isn't limited to Rhyperior, Rotom-H, Nihilego, Chansey and AV Glowbro which all get threatened by the zurill by at least an aqua jet. Moltres also actively threatens the tangster and especially the moonger while also being able to switch into things that want to revenge azu like Zarude.
