Hello and welcome to the first ever USUM UU Team Bazaar! This thread will serve as a more casual way to drop new teams you've been building and recieve feedback or just share cool stuff you've been using. This is intended to be a more relaxed version of the RMT subforum to post teams you don't want to do a full RMT for, so feel free to post teams you'd like advice on. Make sure you include some level of quality to the teams you post in here; basically, don't post a team full of PU 'mons and expect it to not be deleted. Also make sure you test your teams before you post them here; playtesting is an easy way to get rid of very obvious flaws in your teams and makes it easier on both you and the people giving advice here. Also make sure you post an importable of your teams and include sprites for the benefit of everyone who sees your post - you can use https://fulllifegames.com/Tools/SpriteConverter/ if you don't know where to find them. If a team posted here is outdated (if some of the Pokemon are banned or move up due to usage) I will be including them in the archive in the OP. Here's an example post:

This is a cool balance team I made featuring Mantine and Hippowdon as a defensive core, which support each other pretty nicely because Hippowdon provides a ground immunity and Stealth Rocks for Mantine, whereas Mantine can provide Defog and a way to switch into Water-types that bother Hippowdon. Breloom was looking like an issue and I wanted a faster pokemon so I chose to add CM Psychium Latias, it's a pretty standard set but it works wonders. Gengar was added fourth as a fairy check and a revenge killer for stuff like Celebi and Serperior; I chose to go for a Life Orb hex set because it's a really solid set against slower teams and faster teams alike with Will-O-Wisp, dual STAB and taunt. I added Sylveon fifth to finish out my defensive core and provide a Dragon immunity as well as a secondary Fighting and Dark-type check. Finally, Mega Pidgeot was looking annoying and I was in serious need of speed control, so I added Mega Aerodactyl, which is generally a really nice pokemon to have on balance since it can soft check so many offensive threats.

Just a fun HO that I use on the ladder when I am bored. It's pretty self-explanatory; Flamethrower on Azelf hits Steel-types like Scizor and Mega Aggron. Taunt on Honchkrow actually lets it beat stuff like Hippowdon and Alomomola, which is really fun. It also shuts down other annoying stuff like Mantine and Swampert. It should help you get past low ladder in no time. KACAW.

Trick Room is not a good playstyle. However, I still think it's viable, and this has been my best effort to prove so. It's mainly games like this, in which the opponent's team supposedly has a good matchup against Trick Room with Roar Swampert and Swords Dance Breloom, that make me think this playstyle has some potential. The team is pretty self-explanatory; the only uncommon stuff are Knock Off on Uxie, which mainly hits stuff like Swampert because the removal of Leftovers is huge for Stakataka, Chople Berry on Stakataka because screw Breloom, Aromatisse, which is actually an underrated sweeper under Trick Room which I really like and is the much-needed Dark-type check, and Ice Beam + Hidden Power Fire Cresselia which is pretty self explanatory.

This team is weird as hell. I used it on g2 of my ULT playoffs series against explodingdaisies. I ended up losing but I still think that this team isn't bad. AuroruSlash is self-explanatory so I am not going to explain that. Espeon is a very underrated sweeper which basically 6-0s common Stall archetypes, such as Hikari's. It also has a good matchup against Offense to an extent because of how hard it is to break Espeon after a boost + Aurora Veil, but they're gonna crit you eventually. Mega Houndoom is mainly there to check Chandelure and Scizor and to provide another set-up sweeper. Rhyperior is a very important member on the team because not only it provides me with yet another dangerous wincon, but also helps me counter Electric-types, such as Mega Manectric and Raikou, which otherwise pose huge threats. Scizor was added because I desperately needed a Steel-type and Scizor is broken.

This is a more serious team which I also used on ULT playoffs. The premise of the team is pretty simple - get up Toxic Spikes, break with Bewear, and clean with Scizor. The combination of Bewear + Toxic Spikes pretty much 6-0 common Stall archetypes. Umbreon's purpose can be seen here, I wrote a huge paragraph about it. Scizor checks Fairy-types, such as Mega Altaria and Togekiss which pose huge threats to the team otherwise. Mega Aerodactyl has an interesting set. Crunch is meant to be a panic button against stuff like Latias and Chandelure and has worked out pretty fine lately. Swampert is just there for Stealth Rock, VoltTurn, and Scizor.

Basically, the Sample stall but with a Pyukumuku over Quagsire which I mainly used during ULT. Pyukumuku just gives a better matchup against opposing Stall and Special set-up sweepers. You can check the Sample Teams for a detailed description of the team.

This team features bewear. Normally you would see bewear on offense or bulky offense, but I wanted to see how it would do on stall. The idea for this team is to have a good matchup vs opposing stall. I don't want to be playing 500+ turn games every time I battle another player's stall team on the ladder. I've explained bewear's moveset here in the USUM Creative and Underrated Sets. Bewear + Mega Altaria always seem to be my go to core, so I added Mega Alt since it's a good fighting and fire resist and supports bewear on all playstyles. It is one of the team's defoggers and is the teams main check to gliscor. Next I added the classic alo-bliss core. Not much explanation is needed for this core since it is just a really solid core for stall. I added steelix next since Mega Manectric was a pain. Steelix also serves as another check to latias and provides the team with stealth rocks so that blissey can run heal bell. Finally spikes from klefki was annoying, so I added moltres so that hazards wouldn't be an issue for the team. Moltres serves as the team's main check to serperior and can check breloom and heracross if brought in safely.

some nice offensive balance. took me to 1400 from about 1200. basically watch out for terrakion, clear rocks, go moltres (or lati) on terrakion. be very careful about rocks, empoleon is reliable but can be chipped easily. if empoleon is chipped too much, try to find an opening to wish pass to it.
keep in mind all offensive threats and play conservatively with lati. I hope you guys have fun with the team! moltres can be swapped out for another fast fire type, preferably something that can kill swampert at 75% and outspeed sciz, loom, and heracross.

Hi, this is a team of mine based around the core of Chandy + Serperior. They both have similar mons as answers and can help each other by wearing them down, mainly Muk. The team consists of basically supporting that core while giving me other wincons and taking advantage of what that core already covers. Hydreigon provides me an answer to some mons like Serperior and opposing Chandy while providing me speed control. Cobalion gives me a reliable Scizor answer, being a wincon in some matches while also luring some Gliscors as it is running the Steelium Z set. Rhyperior covers the Electric- and Flying-type weaknesses and gives me rocks. Not only that, it also pressures stall quite nicely and keeps them up versus most stall teams, helping Serperior to become a threat too. Lastly, I have Altaria, that is another answer to some mons while being a wincon itself. It is running Return as it usually has to mega-evolve early game to become my Dragon answer, but Facade can be a fun option too.
Some weaknesses go around Primarina, Latias and things with Water+Ice coverage, but I believe those can be played around most of the time. I hope you have fun testing it!

Here's a fun team I built a few weeks ago out of boredom. I've always wanted to try lure Hydreigon so I figured it's about time I build around it. With Z-Superpower, Hydreigon lures in Blissey and ohkoes it after Draco Meteor when it switches in. The EV spread can very well be tweaked because I'm sure there's a better spread for this, but being able to ohko Blissey with Draco + Z-Superpower without rocks up (which is what the spread is for) is good enough for me. A-Muk can also be lured in sort of, but it takes a bit of chip to kill with Draco + All-Out Pummeling even with hazards. Rhyperior is here as a check to Flying types as well as Mega Manectric as this team is kinda weak to it. Sub CM Chandy is a broken ass set a cool mon that lets you beat Blissey without the help of it's teammates, as well as just being a good Pokemon in general (checking things like Breloom, Choice-locked Infernape, Serperior, etc.). Mega Pidgeot is great as it's offensive prowess is nothing to scoff at, and paired with Starmie makes sure things like Rhyperior and Nihilego don't stop Pidgeot completely. Scarf Infernape because it's imo the best and most reliable scarfer in the tier; cleaning up late game, revenge killing, picking off weakened mons and keeping momentum going with U-turn. It also forms a simple Voltturn-esque core with Mega Pidgeot. The team has some weaknesses as all teams do, such as Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Manectric if Rhyperior is severely weakened, Starmie, Latias (particularly Scarf as it outspeeds the whole team and there are no Dragon resists), among some other's that are slipping my mind atm. This isn't exactly the most reliable/serious of teams, and shouldn't be treated as such, but it does work (I went from 1000 to around 1450 on a fresh alt during a short little ladder stint w this team exclusively), and I'm sure you'll enjoy it :)

Aight so I've been having a lot of fun with this team that was made around a core good user Sage gave me a while back. Kommo + Tspikes Nihi, Kommo is weak to flying and Nihi resists flying, Kommo deeply appreciates the chip from Tspikes to sweep, and this Kommo set is also walled by Chandy which Nihi is able to handle switching into pretty easily. Mega Sceptile comes in as something that can help break through bulky waters and grounds, while luring Muk-A which gives this core some issues due to Nihi being so weak to being Pursuit trapped and Muk being a poison type and being able to get rid of Tspikes. Now the Scizor matchup is lookin pretty suspect, and breaking through Tentacruel is kind of annoying... so offensive Seismitoad is here as a rocker that doesn't let Scizor set up for free (this should prolly be Hp Fire tbh), another Mega Manectric answer, and a rocker that pressures Tentacruel. Alright so now the Scizor matchup is still extremely suspect and I need a fairy type and removal... so Babiri Berry Defog Togekiss sounded like a good move to me to help lure Scizor and give the rest of the team much much more breathing room while also helping the Breloom and Serp matchup immensely. Doublade seemed like a good choice as a 6th mon here because it can act as a means of switching into Scizor Banded Bullet Punches and U-Turns, and giving a MUCH needed Latias answer... yes the set is a little weird with no Steel stab, I just wanted to be able to hit Scizor at least a little bit :P, oh and it also acts as a sleep absorber for Breloom.

Aight so this is a team I built with inspiration from sparrow's malt umbreon balance he made and used a long ass time ago during like M-Lati days. Umbreon is cool with malt if you're going for a balance build because it's a cleric, can deal with ghosts, doesn't let Scizor in for free or stack typings like other common clerics on balance (Sylveon), etc. I went with fatass Chandy here as the third slot because it is something I've been wanting to use and it also hard walls non-Knock Off Scizor, and Cobalion (which right now 2v1s the team). Next comes Empo which is kinda the best choice possible as a rocker here. Empo is great because it really helps the stall matchup as a rocker that's immune to Toxic, it has Ice Beam w/ Shuca Berry so it isn't scared out by Gliscor when it comes into Defog (Glisc is one of the most common foggers on stall). Crobat is here as the hazard removal, which I honestly dislike a lot as a sole defogger on a team since it doesn't fog on too many rockers, but it gets the job done w/ Super Fang to irritate incoming Steels that lack recovery (Empo, Lix, Maggron, etc.) and to also help break shit like Hippo and Swampert. Crobat is also here as a secondary Breloom answer and a Serperior answer, also issa floating mon which I need rn. Krook is here for speed control and an electric immunity for Mega Manectric matchup. Obviously this team can't break Pert/Hippo for shit so Toxic on Krook is there to lure those mons in and cripple them :D. Also shoutout martha for using this in UUPL and being great n_n and Eyan for helping me a bit on this one owo and also being great.

Alright so I built this team with one of my besties Chloe a few weeks ago and I remember really liking it despite not putting too much time into testing it afterwards lmao. Basically it's built around Heracross + Bulky ass flying resist (in this case, Stakakakakakkakakaka). Swampert was the rocker of choice because it's able to blanket check a lot of things that bother this core such as Infernape, Mega Manectric, Terrakion, etc. Kyurem is added here to improve the Gliscor matchup and also provide an amazing stall matchup with Sub + Toxic + Roost. Togekiss comes in as the sole Breloom answer here because it desperately needs one, it is also the sleep absorber with Safety Goggles and provides a Fairy Type for Hydreigon matchup along with hazard removal and Twave support for Heracross owo. Now Choice Scarf Infernape seems like a great choice here as a Scizor check and much needed speed control/pivot.

So this team was built around mixed Mega Sceptile and Empoleon. Empoleon does a lot for Mega Sceptile such as provide a dragon AND fairy AND flying resist while offering utility and hazard removal. Infernape comes in as a Scizor answer while also offering a pivot and speed control that is capable of softening up Steels for Mega Sceptile to mow through the rest of the enemy team. Hippowdon is the rocker of choice to effectively sit there and be annoying while setting rocks and poisoning things that can be annoying such as Mega Aerodactyl and Electrium Z Latias. Fightium Z Togekiss is here to lure steels that annoy the shit out of Mega Sceptile such as Mega Aggron and Empoleon while also providing a good stall matchup and a Breloom/Hydreigon answer. Band Scizor is here to pressure fairies harder with super effective Bullet Punches while being a much needed Steel type that can switch into non-Hp Fire Latias and trap with Pursuit... oh and Scizor also gives a nice U-Turn core with Infernape :3. Btw this team has a ROUGH Fighting + Blank matchup... Terrak just fucks it up... and Nape is a mediocre matchup as well ;w;.

So obviously webs is fuckin hot garbage rn in UU and it's because of how many threats it has to deal with. Latias, Hydreigon, Mega Aerodactyl, Serperior, etc... Imo probably one of the biggest reasons on that list not to run webs i Serperior, it annoys the living shit out of webs fr, and CBGOODRA is like one of the most consistent Serperior answers ever. Webs + mediocre speed tier mon w/ a CB that hard walls one of the playstyle's biggest threats sounded pretty neat. So from there I went with a rocker because my webber of choice is Araquanid and that mon can't learn SR unlike other webbers such as Smeargle. The rocker I went with was Rhyperior with Weakness Policy to act as a flying resist to lead off with against burds and Mega Manectric that can also act as something that can sweep with the right circumstances. A Defog punisher sounded like a good idea on a webs team and it had been a while since I've used Tornadus. So I went with a neat Adamant + Agility Tornadus set that I got from Euphonos to act as a Defog punisher. Mega Altaria is kinda what I use to deal with Hydreigon which is a pretty big nuisance to webs, and also act as another wincon with DD. Now the Scizor and stall matchup is looking beyond shite, so Flame Body Sub CM Chandelure seemed like a good idea as a 6th here. Also the Lati matchup on this team is LOL so hf w/ that lmao.

PS: EVERY ONE OF THESE TEAMS HAS A FLOATING MON FUCK OFF :D

hi, i would like to submit some teams i've been having fun with.

so i started with bewear, since this was originally built for the teambuilding competition. a good core with bewear is mega altaria + bewear. bewear pressures steels and some fairies like sylveon that mega altaria hates, while mega altaria checks dangerous fire-types, fighting-types, and some dragons that bewear hates like hydreigon and latias. immediately i wanted a good check to opposing mega altaria and a fairy resist, so i decided on bronzong. it also provides rocks and a togekiss check. rotom-heat gives defog (isn't really necessary but hazard support is nice for suicune), another scizor check alongside bewear, and functions as a sort of lure with hp grass to catch things like rhyperior and swampert. i wanted speed control, a ground type, and another non-pursuitable mega aerodactyl check. krookodile fit perfectly and also provides pursuit support for things like gengar and chandelure. lastly, i wanted a semi-scizor check as well as another wincon. a breloom lure would also fit nicely, so i added ice beam cm suicune. so many teams rely on breloom to check it, only to be KOed by ice beam and swept.

this was created around the core of mega blastoise + doublade + wish. originally i had sylveon > florges, but since empoleon is annoying for this team, i decided to use florges so that it could use synthesis to heal itself rather than rely on wish, which allows empoleon to roar. i wanted rocks and a flying-type check, so i added rhyperior. it also provides a ground type, non-passive manectric answer. i was looking rather slow at this point, so i decided to add scarf hydreigon (which also gave me a floating mon). lastly, i wanted a stallbreaker and a secondary floating mon. a set that sage gave me was super fang/taunt/roost/brave bird, which can chip down stall and also improve the empoleon matchup by chipping it down with repeated switch ins into blastoise + crobat. there are a few versions i have, such as defog > u-turn on hydreigon and aura sphere > rapid spin on blastoise, but overrall i think this is the most solid version.

sage used a variation of this team in uupl. unfortunately lost, but i thought i might as well share the original version. a good balance core is mantine + hippowdon. however, there is one thing i dislike about it: both members are passive. as vivalospride once said, "it's a very good do-nothing balance core." in order to fix this, i decided to use rhyperior instead of hippowdon and this team happened. i started with the aforementioned core. i decided on bulky dd mega altaria to round out the core, since it patches most of the things this core looks weak to such as breloom. i wanted a better stall matchup, so i decided on sub cm chandelure and technichan breloom. breloom also provides a form of speed control in priority along with my last member, choice band scizor. scizor rounds out the team with a secondary fairy resist and mega altaria check.

I wanted a place to dump some of my ULT teams, so this is definitely cool. I have to save some of them for Grand Slam, but hopefully you guys find one you like out of the leftovers, most of them are pretty unorthodox and I had a lot of fun with them.

Haxorus DragMag

This team is really simple but also really effective, built for G3 of my series with Yeezyknows. I figured he would be surprised if I showed up with Hyper Offense since I usually rely on bulkier teams, so I decided to build around Haxorus + Magneton. Magneton isn't really good, but on a team like this where you're ending games super quickly you minimize its shortcomings and support your dragon spam effectively. Haxorus is a monster and destroys any thing slow. Gliscor was a rocker with a good Breloom matchup / general status absorber. Gengar is just a threat in general, and Destiny Bond was a nice panic button. Scizor is the best cleaner in the tier, while Hydreigon is our second Dragon, bringing speed control and hazard removal.

Gastrodon Bulky Offense

This is a fun little squad I made for my series vs xMarth in semis, Gastrodon did a nice job vs some of his team comps, being an Electric check with recovery while also handling stuff like Nidoking and Mega Aero better than Hippowdon does. Rocks Aggron was a nice choice to complete the defensive backbone, helping vs things like Latias. I knew I wanted a Cleric to support my defensive core, but I also didn't want to become super passive, so I had this neat idea for a dual NP core of Togekiss + Infernape. Infernape checks Scizor and is a great win con vs Bulky Offense in general, while Togekiss stallbreaks and is the team's cleric. Latias brought some speed and removal in one slot, as well as another Breloom check. Finally, Snorlax rounded out the team as I had noted a Chandelure weakness. I wanted a trapper that could come in on Chandy reliably, and due to my major aversion to Muk, an underutilized CB set seemed to work well.

Reuniclus Balance

This is a neat balance team I built to use against Silvio, starting with a core of Bulky Energy Ball Reuniclus and HP Fire Sylveon. These two poked holes on a lot of stall builds I was worried about, and in general were just packing decent defensive utility. Gliscor was chosen as a secondary win con since it can help absorb status as well (no heal bell on Sylv), and a decently fast Ice Fang variant really eases the MU against opposing Gliscor that can be a pain for balance builds. Aggron is once again the rocker, here I'm using Fire Punch to help vs Scizor, and Roar so I can help shuffle teams for Reuniclus and Gliscor. LO Hydreigon had strong immediate breaking power, and I didn't feel like I needed a scarfer on this team. Defog is much easier to use because of this. Finally, Crobat rounds out the team to check Serperior, bring some speed control, and Taunt utility for bulkier teams to help my win cons break through.

Pidgeot Bulky Offense

Finally we've got a cool offense squad that I used vs Bushtush built around HP Ground Pidgeot, a neat threat that lures in checks like Nihilego, Unevolved Aggron, and Stakataka, while also having decent chip vs Empoleon and Rhyperior. I added some breaking power in the forms of Choice Specs Kyurem and Choice Band Infernape, having great coverage across the tier and adding another U-turn user. Mach Punch is also acting as some of the team's Speed Control vs things like Scarf Hydreigon and speed boosting Cobalion. Next I wanted a win con, and I opted for a cool Bulky NP Celebi with Fairium Z. This set 1v1s almost every Latias (something my first three team members struggled with), and is in general great versus bulky teams. Having HP Ground Pidgeot means some of the Earth Power targets like Mega Aggron will hopefully be weakened. You can also catch Hydreigon on the switch, and the Z crystal and HP investment lets you take Scarf Krook Knock Offs relatively well. The last two slots patch up defensive shortcomings, with Fat Scizor being a great Latias check in case Celebi fails to catch it, as well as providing Defog, while Swampert is the mandatory Electric check and Rocker, using Counter to help vs CB scizor.

This team is a bulky offense team that I built in the past month or two. The idea of this team is to be able to tank hits while still being able to pressure opponents offensively. What makes this team solid is the fact that not one pokemon on the team has to check threats alone. Even if one team member faints, other team members are still able to check the majority of the tier. This team can also handle any playstyle. The ability to tank hits and retaliate hard is good versus offense, and the team is still able to break through other bulky teams.
Bewear functions as the team's wallbreaker. What's special about bewear is that it can wallbreak effectively without easily being revenged killed by physical attackers. With its ability fluffy, bewear serves as a good offensive check to physical attackers. If it is at full health, Bewear can comfortably check scizor, Mega Aerodactyl, choice scarf infernape, cobalion, terrakion and even a +6 azumarill. Alolan-Muk serves as a good check to the many special attackers in the tier. It is able to support bewear by pursuit trapping celebi, latias, gengar, and chandelure. Doublade serves mainly as the team's check to Mega Pidgeot, but also doubles as a second check for latias, scizor, cobalion, and terrakion while also being a good check to breloom. With toxic, doublade is able to lure physical walls like alomomola quagsire, swampert, and hippowdon to help keep constant pressure on fatter teams. Gliscor gives the team stealth rocks and serves as another check against physical threats. it originally had taunt, but I replaced it with toxic to be able to poison mantine and volcanion for suicune. Taunt can still be used to help the already favorable stall match up. Mega Altaria is the main answer to hydreigon and acts as the team's hazard remover. Suicune is typically the one on the team that will sweep and is also team's second stallbreaker.

This is a fun team I made for ladder, I wanted to make smth with Mega Blastoise because it obviously sees next to no usage now and I think it still has smth to offer. I think going all out 4 attacks is it's best set, dropping any coverage can be annoying and a lot of the time when I've got stoise into the game, I want to be firing off attacks rather than spinning. Nothing on the team is hugely bothered by Stealth Rock and I have Spikes to pressure my opponent into removing hazards themselves. I didn't really come into this with any major concept alongside Blastoise other than I wanted Spikes, so there's no great building process to document here, other than just filling all of the necessary roles for a bulky offense team in this metagame: Stealth Rock, bird check, speed control, Breloom and Scizor checks, potential win conditions. The result of this is a pretty fun little bulky offense that hasn't had any hugely horrible matchups from playing with it so far.

Potential Changes

Ice Fang > Facade on Gliscor and Grass Knot > Hidden Power Ice on Nihilego. This change is something I've messed around with a little bit, the option to immediately pressure 4x grass weaks that Nihilego often comes up against can be nice, and changing Gliscor to Ice Fang helps keep the matchup against opposing Gliscor decent due to how fast this spread is at current. I'm just a bigger fan of running Facade > Ice Fang on Gliscor where possible, as I think it makes it much more threatening.

Magnet Rise can be run on Klefki and you can run alternative Water STABs on Blastoise if you're not keen on Hydro accuracy, these are mostly personal preference.

This team uses a nice dragon, steel, fairy core with wish support to heal bewear. Bewear has enough speed for adamant crawdaunt. I opted for toxic and fire punch on MAggron to check scizor better and also chip moltres if it tries to defog. I wanted to use cm wish florges so I could have a win con and I thought having a solid win con was more important than cleric support. Bewear has facade anyways, which is another reason I didn't think I needed aromatherapy. I crammed defog on hydreigon since scizor is checked enough by bewear and MAggron. The team isn't weak to rocks, but it's just a last resort if spikes becomes overwhelming. Nidoking is a nice breaker and with toxic spikes, it can help wear down suicune and other bulky mons. Slowking is a great check to moltres and other special attackers. It tanks so many special attacks and hits hard. Future sight is such an amazing move that pairs so well with my breakers. The team is weak to a well played mamo and cune if tspikes aren't up or if its crocune. And just hope terrakion and hera switch into a future sight or something.

This is gonna be a post w/ like 75% of the webs teams I've made since mvenu suspect, I've simplified a few EV spreads, hf with them n_n


So I wanted to make a webs team with both Galvantula and Mega Shark, Galvantula is mega underrated atm... it pressures literally every defogger and can get free chip early on that could be crucial to winning the game with it's nice speed tier and hard hitting STAB. Mega Shark is like the god of offense in UU tbh, generally works better on spikes but I wanted to try the lad out on webs as well so I plopped him onto the team as something that can beat fast floaty mons with chip + speed boost. Mamoswine comes through because it's just the best rocker on webs, period. It's so difficult to switch into and does so much damage, while also pressuring birds and floaty dragons heavily with Ice Shard. Chandelure is a spinblocker and provides a better Scizor and stall matchup. Scizor comes through to beat dragons and birds as well with Bullet Punch and luring Moltres with qa. Togekiss might seem like an odd pick on webs because of it pretty much just letting shit like Maero in for free, but it can cripple it with Twave and flinches shit down w/ webs support + NP while providing a good Hydreigon matchup so ye.


This team started with Ribombee, but then at the end of it even tho Ribombee was working fine as a web setter... I realized the team had such a hard time like switching into EQ and/or just breaking shit like Hippo in general that I changed it to Araq and it worked much better. Mamoswine comes through for the same reason as before, it's just the best option on webs for rocks but this time it's running 180 SpA to lure Alo and Quag and Pert and all that shit for Coba to put in some work in the late game. Coba also serves as a soft Scizor check and abuses dark moves that might be clicked by Hydreigon or Muk vs Latias. Latias is the Moltres counterplay and pressures common defoggers and Lati checks like Empoleon with Life Orb + Thunder (s/o Amane Misa). Scizor just pressures a lot of floaty things with powerful priority while also luring Moltres and Nape (which can both give this team an issue) with QA. Mega Houndoom is the ghost answer and another soft Scizor check for the team with Taunt to abuse goons tryna fog ur webs away and improve the stall matchup.


This team is pretty similar to the previous one, although I generally prefer the previous one. I've wanted to make Hoopa webs for quite some time after seeing explodingdaisies do it, but have never really bothered until about 2 weeks ago or some shit when I made this. I once again shamelessly plopped Mamoswine onto the team, same reasoning as the other two squads. Hoopa came in as a spin blocker and webs abuser that has a great stall matchup and does a shit ton of damage with it's absurd SpA stat. Cobalion comes through to switch into Muks and Hydreigons that might be clicking dark moves vs Hoopa while providing Taunt support. Mega Houndoom is the ghost answer and a soft Scizor check that also provides Taunt support for stall and foggers. Togekiss comes in to give a reliable drei switch in and is something that can kinda handle birds like Moltres and Pidgey... kinda-ish with Twave + flinching + it's high SpDef stat.


So this team is pretty bad ngl, it was kinda just an experiment and is highkey just a much shittier and memier version of Adaam's webs now that I'm looking at it. Basically this teams starts out with Araq + Mamoswine cause I'm an unoriginal and uncreative dickhead. Mega Houndoom comes in because I thought it'd be neat after seeing Adaam use it and after not using it for quite some time. Seemed like a good pick on webs for reasons mentioned in previous teams. Gengar comes through to pressure fairies and stall with Taunt + Ghostium Z, while also being a spinblocker on a hazard based team. Then Togekiss comes through to switch into dark moves and just being the Hydreigon answer for the team while being able to abuse webs with Serene Grace + Twave the floaty mons. Then the LAD Klinklang comes through because I knew I needed a flying resist and a steel that can at least kinda take care of Lati, and this was what I came up with for whatever reason lmfao, it's fun though.


This is the team I used to get reqs for mvenu suspect. Started with Araq + Kommo because I knew Kommo w/ Bulletproof could set up all over mvenu... but even after mvenu ban this team should still work great because Bulletproof also allows Kommo to setup on other webs threats such as Staka. Mamoswine is the rocker of choice for obvious reasons. Chandelure is the spinblocker, stall matchup mon, Scizor answer, etc. Scizor pressures floaty mons w/ powerful priority n shit, this team has a weird experimental Scizor set w/ Pursuit + SD LOL... it was to chip shit like Maero and trap Lati which are both HUGE threats to webs, while still being able to OHKO Chandelure post speed drop. Togekiss kinda-ish serves as a special bird answer with Twave + SpD stat blah blah, you guys know this shit by now. Btw this shit hard loses to Moltres, harder than most of the other teams lmao.


This team was made with the pretty cool user Hilomilo pretty soon after the shifts. Basically he wanted Bruxish webs so this is what that is. Mamoswine is the rocker, no surprise u_u. Coba is the primary drei switch in and can lure Moltres with Stone Edge. Lati is a Moltres/Pidgey answer in itself with Elec Z to pressure shit like Empoleon that can fog webs away and Staka which can rip thru webs teams w/o much difficulty. Scizor is on this team to pressure shit that threatens webs with powerful priority and can murder Starmie with Knock Off.

Yes I know literally every one of these teams have Mamo, ok? I'm sorry for being lame. This tier has been somewhat boring to me for a while and that's led to just doing nothing but using webs cause it's the only fun thing for me atm LOL, like I said this is about 75% of the webs teams I've made and I'll prolly make more in the future unless Serp comes back super fast and just shits on my hopes and dreams. Sticky Web + Dragon Spam


The main objective of the team is pretty clear, you set-up the Sticky Web with Araquanid and then you attempt to Sweep with Kommo-o / Altaria-Mega / Scizor or even with Nihilego. Electrium Z Nihilego is a must have and allows it to nuke Pokemon like Tentacruel or Empoleon which gonna try to remove your Sticky Web. Altaria-Mega's spread allows it to outspeed 110 BS Scarf after 2 DD. Scizor's spread permits it to outspeed 8 Speed Klefki while having some Bulk).

Swords Dance Celebi in a nutshell..


It's not a meme, SD Celebi has a niche (yeah ok it's a gimmick but it's fun to play with it). The team is pretty classic, I just tried to make something good around SD Celebi (and it works, I reached top 10 with it lmao). The team will also work if you put NP Celebi with Groundium Z.

Balance Curse Solid Snake


Firstable shoutout to Sage which gave me the right spread for Steelix-Mega (OHKO Hydreigon after 1 Curse with Gyroball). Steelix-Mega is a pretty cool Pokemon to use and I wanted to build with it. Lix/Sylveon/Tentacruel is a pretty classic core for a Balance. They complete each other pretty well. However, Steelix-Mega isn't enough to deal with Volt-Turn since Manectric-Mega can Flamethrower/Overheat and Rotom-Heat became pretty good. I decided to add Krookodile for Speed Control (+ Pursuit Trap) and it gaves me a second electric immunity. Then we have (again) Scizor and CM/Recover Bolt-Beam Latias with Electrium Z which punish Water Type (and Steelix-Mega likes that a lot).

I decided I will do a team dump whenever I lose on Open in order to give some credit to all the teams that haven't made their debut. I lost my Open game, so here I am!

Before I start shooting teams, I wanna thank vivalospride, yeezyknows, Sage, Kink, FUMA HI-FI, SilvioGuacamole, Darksafadao, Nuked, A Cake Wearing A Hat, and many more who I forgot and probably feel terrible after they tell me I forgot them (no particular order, by the way), who helped me on my Open run; whether it be helping me with building, testing with me, or just keeping an insecure and anxious girl like me throughout this tour. I take no one of you guys for granted and I am very happy to have you on my side; I couldn't have reached top 8 without you all!

I do not think that I am an amazing player, but I do think that I am a fine builder. Throughout Open, all I did is to not lose with the teams I built. I hope you will find this dump helpful and fun. Thanks for reading this far, I appreciate it. And if you are just here to steal teams and didn't even look at this small wall of text at all, that's also fine!

Disclaimer: I am not going to go in-depth with the descriptions because that'd take forever.


Built this one with vivalospride. The last time I used Jellicent was in ULT playoffs so I wanted to try that out, mainly because Sage 6-0'd me with it on test games and I knew to expect balance from my opponent. Jellicent wears down Steel-types for Scizor to attempt a late-game sweep, while Scizor removes items from bulkier Pokemon, helping Jellicent to wear them down. I knew I wanted a Fairy-type and a secondary Steel-type because having Scizor as your only Steel-type on a team is no good. Klefki fit this role perfectly because Spikes help Jellicent and Scizor a lot and it can check hostile Dark- and Dragon-types for them. I added Hippowdon because I wanted a Stealth Rock setter and a Ground-type that could reliably check Physical attackers. I added Mega Aerodactyl for the Flying-types matchup and because it traps troublesome setup sweepers such as Chandelure and Latias. Lastly, I added Tentacruel for hazard control and because I wanted a Toxic Spikes absorber.

I started with Hippowdon + Empoleon + Mega Aerodactyl, a common core that has been around, and I am not going to explain what it does because I am lazy. This core has a twist though; Mega Aeroadctyl has Hone Claws, to take advantage of common passive teams. Sylveon was added because I needed a Fairy-type and the team members appreciated a cleric at this point. Next, I wanted a Defog user that could also help me against Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Jellicent, hence Hydreigon was added. Lastly, I wanted an Electric-type to check Scizor. I wanted the Electric-type to be able to pressure bulky Ground-types for a potential Mega Aerodactyl sweep. I like the Rotom-Heat version at most, then the Raikou version, and then the Rotom-Mow version.

I was brainstorming with myself during work and came up with Swords Dance Necrozma + Choice Specs Latias with Healing Wish. Necrozma can break common defensive cores thanks to its unique typing and thanks to Photon Geyser being a cool move. Latias can lure in Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix and weaken them for Necrozma. Furthermore, after Necrozma has been worn down, Latias can bring it back to full health late-game and potentially let it sweep. I added a defensive Primarina because I wanted a bulky Fairy-type, and non-Leftovers Primarina was just too easy to wear down. Next, I added Cobalion holding a Rocky Helmet because it could chip Scizor that is troublesome to the starting core and because it sets up Stealth Rock. Next, I added Choice Scarf Krookodile because I wanted a Ground-type that could check Ghost-types and increase the average Speed of the team members. Lastly, I added bulky Defog Scizor. Now, I know that this is a Clef-meta set, but it just fit in the team perfectly. Try to not be mad at me for that.

I wanted to use Curse Mega Steelix and regular Block Slowbro. Paired them with Cleric support, Toxic Spikes absorption, Ghost-type answer and a hazard remover, and a secondary Steel-type to check Scizor and Latias. A short description because I am lazy.

I do not wanna go in-depth with that one, even though I could. That'd take me years, though. Generally, if you want to beat fat, this is the team for you.

Everything barring the Golbat here is standard, so I will only explain that. I had Crobat on its slot, but after spending minutes on making an EV spread on Crobat, I realized that I only really need it to outspeed Heracross. Then, I thought of Golbat, which on one hand, is bulkier with an Eviolite, and on the other hand, makes the team look much less boring. Rindo Berry on Quagsire is so the team does not lose to Mega Manectric + Pursuit, by the way!

They're both pretty cool and solid, they deal pretty well with the actual metagame. Pyuku's Stall is really nice and fun to use :psyglad:
You need to be careful with Terrakion SD Z-Fight/Rock and CB which can be a problem if you throw away its checks.
You can also change Rest on Steelix-Mega and replace it by Roar / Toxic.

as stated in the title, this team is based around a basic fwg core. let's start with infernape. support nape, from my stand point, is really slept on. infernape gets really good support moves like taunt, stealth rocks, will o wisp, and a reliable recovery in slack off. using it is simple, it's mainly just spamming will o wisp and getting rocks up against mons that will be forced to switch like ammonguss, scizor, and bisharp. speaking of bisharp, 44 speed evs lets nape outrun jolly bisharp. you can also go with blaze + flamethrower/fire blast if that's your thing

slowbro is a pretty good sweeper. it's super bulky, and doesn't even mind most physical attacks. it has good synergy with amoonguss, being able to take fire and psychic attacks amoonguss might not want. it checks so many high tier threats, like defensive scizor, terrakion, cobalion, and even pokemon that are super effective against it like honchkrow. the 180 spdef ensures only a 3hko from mamoswine's freeze dry, and after the few boosts, slowbro can easily wall the entire tier

Standard-ish HO I've been using since Bish drop. Pretty easy to pilot into 1500s just by spamming hazards and cleaning up with luke prio and shark crunches, or breaking fat with np cele.

krook is your go-to lead 9/10, you taunt the opposing fat SR setter and knock/eq down to luke's kill range. dont be afraid to stay in to knock off bandzors or eq manes, because shark/luke need all the chip they can get. taunt also prevents defog which can buy you a free turn later in the match.

np cele with gleam is my fave new set, gleam takes out hydra on the switch and allows you to dent latias so luke doesn't need to SD to clean up. also this autowins vs. stall and empo/hippo.

scarf heattom is weird but you need it to check fast elecs/scizor/infernape/cobalion mid-game and the surprise speed can often get you the kill you need. once they figure out you're locked, you're pretty much fucked, but most times the initial surprise factor is all you need to take out the one fast mon that's blocking your luke/shark sweep. tricking a scarf vs. is also clutch at the endgame to force switches and gain free turns.

Like all HOs, this gets fucked really fast the sooner you lose momentum, so don't be afraid to make aggro plays early game to get kills/hazards/good trades. It's been super fun to play with even when you lose

other options:

* NP luke instead of SD improves certain matchups better but espeed is a more general purpose cleaning tool that doesnt always need setup
* Crunch/Ice Punch luke over BP so you break fat better
* haven't tried cobalion over luke but it could probably work?
* bisharp over luke is fun too
* Mamo instead of Krook if you think you need more speed control + mane switchin (loses quite a lot of momentum IMO since the first few turns with krook are crucial)
* twave instead of toxic on klef to improve offense matchup (at the cost of getting to chip fat grounds for luke)

Tailwind is a neat playstyle that's super fun to use while also being super threatening when combined w certain mons *cough ban mamo*

Mamo + mega blastoise under tailwind become huge threats since they outspeed all unboosted mons and most scarfers (outsped by base 108 and 111 scarfers respectively), while cb ape is good for it's power, sciz and bisharp check and the u turn momentum when paired w tailwind support. The sets/spreads may look a bit obscure but allow me to explain dem shits;

172 hp on torn guarantees it lives a cb bp from scizor after rocks and ill explain why i chose defog torn over spin on stoise

208 timid speed on whims outspeeds lati outside of tw with the rest in hp and def for bulk (could opt for 48 sp def instead of def tbh)

Mirror coat (LOL) on stoise since the team is EXTREMELY weak to primarina as both specs and resttalk are huuuge threats (252+ SpA Choice Specs Primarina Moonblast vs. 68 HP / 0 SpD Blastoise-Mega: 222-262 (70.2 - 82.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO). Given how scary prima is, it's probably optimal to run gunk shot on ape over u turn, but personally i'm loving the u turn + tailwind support. The speed investment allows stoise to outspeed scarf lati under tailwind and blow it back w dark pulse. Mega blastoise becomes a big threat under tailwind in general, so it's a good fit for the team

Mamo is busted under wind since it doesn't have to worry outspeed it's speed issues and can just spam it's stabs and kill shit given the limited switchins in the tier. 4 atks w stone edge is neat since it allows mamo to ohko rotom heat after rocks as well as moltres at full hp when tailwind is up

Overall the team is pretty obscure and far from standard (especially that blastoise set lmao), but i used the team a decent amount and it works solidly at mid ladder, so it's a cool team to use when just screwing around on the ladder :)

Aight so I really wanted to build around nihi again for the first time in a while, and I wanted to do a protect set. I went with a hazard setting core of rocks taunt kommo + tspikes nihi that p much takes a living shit on fatter builds. Protect nihi w/ acid spray can really put some dents into mons that normally give it trouble, it's p irritating to play around. Scarf Krook was the logical 3rd b/c that tends to just happen on any team w/o a ground type rocker, I went with Crunch > Stedge for z move lati m/u. Doublade made sense in the next slot as it can blanket check the vast majority of the tier's fighting types (bar like... nape). Doub is also a steel type that can do a decent job of handling Lati when it needs to and also appreciates the tspikes support with SD a shit ton. Mega Blastoise fit perfectly in the next slot b/c it abuses the tspikes support so so well while also giving another Scizor check and hazard removal. It's just a nice breaker to have that kinda serves as a fat water on BO as well. Togekiss comes in the last slot with giving a hydreigon check, a ground immunity, heal bell support, and solidifying the stall matchup to be pretty solid. I've tested a bit with this team and it's done p well and it's been super fun, just wanted to share it in a more casual manner. I hope you guys like it.

I tried to build around Venomoth because I love this Pokemon but it kinda struggles to set up because there is a lot of priorities in the current Underused. I paired it with Choice Scarf Krookodile which can deal with Latias and Celebi thanks to Knock Off / Pursuit / Crunch. Then we have VinCune which can bother a lot of Pokemon. It also likes the fact that Krookodile can remove Electric Types thanks to Earthquake (but also Nasty Plot Celebi). Bulky DD Altaria-Mega allows me to deal with Zeraora as well as Terrakion to a lesser extent. On the other hand, Rotom-Heat is my Defogger while Cobalion is my Stealth Rocks setter. Thanks to its Rocky Helmet, Cobalion can check Scizor with ease. I opted for Stone Edge because I want to be sure to deal with Defog Moltres which can be annoying. Venomoth and Altaria-Mega paired well with their teammates because they can weakened Steel Types for them.

Another cool team where Nihilego acts as my Stealth Rocks setter. Thanks to Z-Thunder, Nihilego is able to remove Empoleon and Tentacruel which open doors for SD Roost Scizor and Bulky DD Altaria-Mega. Rotom-Heat brings a really nice check to opponent's Scizor and a way to remove Entry Hazards thanks to Defog. Choice Scarf Krookodile is my Choice Scarf user and brings some good speed to the team. Finally, Choice Band Crawdaunt is a powerful Wallbreaker which can open doors for SD Scizor by removing or weakening a lot Pokemon like Alomomola, Tentacruel or Quagsire. On the other hand, Scizor can pressure Chesnaught which deal with Crawdaunt.

Choice Scarf Krook + Defog Rotom + Altaria-Mega + (Water Type - Poison Type - Steel Type)
