I don't normally write shoutouts, but I really enjoyed UPL and thought it'd be fitting as we managed to cap off such a great and enjoyable season with a win. I loved the vibes in our team discord and the turnaround we did was absolutely ridiculous - at our lowest we were like 10-16 mid week 3, down 0-2 to the durians with only 1 point. To be able to turn that around to winning every remaining week bar tying the final one, going 54-22 in the remaining games with 14-6 in playoffs is crazy to me, and I'm really thankful everyone kept positive during that because I definitely wasn't feeling great about it. These shoutouts are super long and sappy but idc the tournament meant a lot to me

TrueNora Anyone who's ever teamed with you knows how much of a beast you are - I mean I knew it too - but your dedication still surprises me. Holy shit you really did carry our season. Undisputed MVP of the team and best teammate / manager I've ever had in any tournament. Your approach to prep and sheer effort literally elevates everyone on the team, and I feel everyone was ready to go by game time in every single tier in large part thanks to your efforts. As a a manager, I'm really not that good at everything that comes after the draft - I don't have so much motivation to build and help everyone along but I can't state enough how much you carried on that front. You're also just a great presence in the chat.

You should probably pick up SV Ubers or manage an official at one point, you're one of the best preppers I've ever seen and you'll easily win in such a prep reliant tier, and if you do the same things you did this UPL you're easily the best and most meticulous manager I've worked with. Thanks so much for picking me to manage with you, and for convincing me to go through with managing UPL - really glad I did.

keys You're one of my long time friends in Ubers and when Dave gave us the team I knew that I wanted to retain you. It really helped to have a strong second opinion in the draft, we're both quite dedicated in that regard and I think it really paid off - as soon as the draft ended I felt that we had not only had no weak points but also some great tiebreak options. You're also great vibes and are really hungry for the win, it was great to see how dedicated you were in checking in on everyone's team progress and running games. It felt like we had 3 managers which helped a lot as I'm not the greatest manager post auction and between me, Nora and yourself we kept prep in all channels running smooth. Also great work in ORAS, some super clutch wins. ORAS seemed quite hard to draft for and I was really happy to lock in a top player pre auction. If this is your last Ubers tournament, I hope you chill with our team if we manage again in the future.

Evuelf Holy shit your finals game was so clutch. You're insanely good at multiple gens and really carried a lot of weight in prep across multiple gens. You were even beating me loads of time in our SS games and running loads of test games was super appreciated. I mean if I'm losing to Evu I gotta change the team. You were also super funny and great vibes - me, you, susciety, keys and lacus and the others taking turns to bully each other was great fun. Thanks for holding down BW, I don't understand that shit at all so I'm really glad we got to lock in a competent player there.

baconeatinassassin lol we're both so glad you didn't accept that retain. Even before your ULT win, just watching your tournament and ladder games I knew you could dominate SV, and as a pure player you're quite a bit better than me so I knew that with my and Nora's teams in SS you'd be unbeatable. You were the natural choice for our Bo3 once Tape got bought and I'm glad I stuck with that - your SS and USUM were seriously amazing and we wouldn't have been able to see it if I just put you in SV. Your comedic timing and stupid emojis are funny af too and was much appreciated in the chat. Congrats on 7-1! Play SCL if you have time.

Shuwri SV is really, really hard and so I knew I had to lock in a big builder alongside Bacon, Nora and myself as we all limited experience. When Inder DMed me mid auction telling me that he'd support you I knew that I had to get you, and that doing so would elevate us to a team that could win the title. Your prep and teams were meticulous, and I've never seen someone so ruthless with Stellar Miraidon. The sheer amount of work you put in to help everyone - bacon, myjava, etern but also test SS with me and other formats was amazing. Your record doesn't reflect the true amount of wins you brought to the team and you certainly lived up to the price tag. I hope I don't have to play you because your teams are scary af lmao

zuzhouwawa I remember watching your games during ULT and being quite impressed, and then you destroyed me in your tryouts. You had to play against some real tough opponents, so don't feel dismayed by your record. I'm sure you have built the experience needed for your first breakout tournament. Sorry I didn't get to slot you in more - you have insane potential, but the value you brought to the team as a whole was amazing anyway. Your vibes in the team discord were great and those goddamn furret emojis genuinely brought so much life to the tournament. Thanks for playing all those tests and helping out with building - we really appreciated your input. :zuzhouwawa:

susciety DPP is hard, really hard and I saw how hard you worked to win - just like with Evuelf I was glad to pin down a competent DPP player as I really couldn't do anything to help with this. You were great vibes in the team chat and honestly funny af, really happy we got to play together. Unfortunately you got unlucky, but that's the nature of the game - it doesn't matter you won UPL anyway. Actually hopefully that makes you cheaper for the guys who just look at the sheet so we can play together in the future too.

Heysup I didn't really get involved in ADV outside of test games here and there but was relieved to get you for it. You always do well and this tour was no exception. It was awesome to go into the weekend with 1 or 2 because of you winning pre Friday - really kept the morale high. Building ADV looks so hard to me but you did an insane job like always.

Rhmsitb You're actually a cheat code in USUM, and I knew that if we wanted to excel in the tour we had to get a top tier USUM in order to help bacon too. Honestly it seemed like whatever you did, HO, Balance, anything; it just ended up working out in game and we'd come out with another USUM win. Your record was super impressive and I feel like USUM is one of the harder gens to play too - so it was amazing. It was also great to see you come into other channels and give your opinion there.

DAWNBUSTER you picked up building GSC Ubers super quickly for this tournament and I'm glad I got to play a lot of GSC vs you - I really enjoy it. I had you on our radar but after you DMed me I was convinced that you were the next top tier GSC player and you really did put in some great performances. Also outside of the GSC chat you were rotten af which was hella funny. Hope you do continue to play GSC Ubers in the future.

myjava I knew I'd need some top tier pilots for SV and I watched your UWC replays and was seriously impressed, so it surprised me you were just 3.5k. Your record was great and it was nice to see you grinding Ubers Ladder and having input on your team - it really gave us a lot of confidence that you'd replicate your UWC performances. You were able to use pretty much any idea we worked with and fought some really tough opponents.

etern It was honestly insanely impressive you'd just roll up to your game with the team Nora and the others made and use it dominantly as if you'd played 20 games with it beforehand. Nora just told me to let you cook - he assured me if we gave you a team you'd just play it super well and he was right. Thanks for being chill and working with any ideas we gave you - you're definitely one of the most skilled I've ever played with. You and Myjava earned a lot of our confidence in SV - I felt we could pretty much give you two anything that looked good vs our opponents and have a very high chance of coming out with the W.

YBW When scouting RBY you were one of the names that stuck out to us really. You played great games and had some very sound building ideas - RBY is a cruel generation but it was super fun to watch you play and to play test games with you too. Just like Heysup you'd play your games early and it was very reassuring to go in to Saturday up 2.

shiloh I've teamed with you in multiple tournaments across all sorts of formats and am glad we got to again as you're just super reliable at literally any format and will use any team to a high level. Subbing in to beat Dovah in BW and SoulWind in SV is just simply cracked, and unfortunately we only got to slot you in twice as we preferred keeping you as an all-round sub to cover any scheduling issues. I think we were both happy with that arrangement though x] it was very reassuring to have someone of your caliber as backup

Enigami Our third RBY player! Unfortunately that meant we didn't get to slot you so much but your inputs in RBY and GSC were great, we needed a backup GSC as Dawn was busy W1 and had to ramp up into the format and you certainly helped. It was very nice to have some extra reinforcement in those tiers, as the most of us didn't know them to the point of building,

Lacus Clyne you're a full member of the Dracovish in all but the spreadsheet. The fact that you missed out on signing up to UPL because you were at a party and then were tired af is hella funny as we literally wrote draft plans with you in mind but it worked out anyway. You were a super active chat presence and me, nora, keys, lacus, strap, lana and evu all taking turns to shit on each other was hella funny, and I'm sure your team opinions helped keys a lot. When I cancer SSPL, you better be ready to take up the SS mantle.

Suzuya thanks so much for coming to help Shuwri. The thing is you didn't even just do that, you helped all our SV and gave opinions in other tiers too. We literally had two for the price of one, it was amazing. And you were a great team presence. Thanks for helping us and damn you're really on the come up on Smogon lol literally every tournament I see you're cooking.

The Strap dude you're funny and rotten af and so it was great to have you in the team chat for vibes. You also helped bacon a lot in USUM whcih was great and gave a lot of team opinions all round. Thanks a lot for joining our team so early on it really did feel like you were a Vish again.

Lana You're also so unintentionally funny LOL, hopefully we do get to team properly again in the future and hopefully your next UPLs go better. Your advice in SV was really, really appreciated - you have a lot of knowledge there and I hope you don't stop with SV after this UPL. I'm glad I got to chill with so many friends this UPL it made chatting in the team server super fun.

Fardin Thanks for helping out in ORAS and for giving test games and opinions in other formats. You have a pretty unique opinion when it comes to building, in a way that benefitted us. I hope you're down to help next year again - just give up bro there's not even a chance ur playing UPL 2025.

Seldanna Thanks so much for helping us with DPP and being a chill presence in the chat. I can tell Susciety really appreciated having an experienced DPP player to bounce ideas off. You are allowed to join UPL you know - you're not tourbanned unlike the guy above you. You should do it!

This is gonna be a lot of waffling and some insane glazing but I said I would do this so I have to now. This was some of the most fun I’ve had playing this game in my 10 years on this site (and not really because of the actual games I played) and a huge share of that goes to the teammates and helpers we had in this tournament so I wanted to say a couple of words towards that.

First of all, I wanted to extend a thank you towards all the hosts and sheet people and anyone who worked in making this tournament happen and/or run smoothly, including all other managers and players. Not having to deal with too much bs made this tournament more enjoyable for me and hopefully everyone else had a great time as well, after all that’s what these tours are for! Now onto the Vishes:

Hack - You were obviously not a Vish but I have to give you a shoutout for all the help you gave me in this tournament. I used your teams for half my games and you were always willing to lend some advice or pass me something when I needed it and hopefully you enjoyed watching me pilot some of your crazy teams. You’re the goat and you have some of the coolest ideas in ORAS so I’m glad you came back and we got to talk about the tier and theorise some stuff. I hope you stick around and keep pushing this tier forward like only you can.

Dave - I was disappointed when I first heard you weren’t managing again this year because I consider you a great friend and I would have liked to run it back but I’m glad things are going well for you and hopefully we managed to make you proud with this win. Thank you for trusting me enough to buy me last year amid all the nonsense surrounding my signup and for setting this team up for success with the other people you brought in as well, which were the foundation that contributed to this win. You’re a great guy and I’m glad my first UPL win came under the franchise you created.

vani - I knew how much of a beast you were after teaming with you last year and having to get cooked in tests every week so I was really excited when I found out you were joining us after Melmetals got eliminated. Your eye for GSC is really special and I felt even more confident in our chances to win there after we secured your help. Thank you for helping dawn with teams and ideas from the moment you joined and for your dedication and time to making us better.

Goat Heart ♥ - Pretty much the same sentiment as the above. You came over after Melmetals were eliminated and I knew how much of a menace you were after we teamed together last UPL. You’re one of the premier USM players and you’re also a great person to be around in these team channels. Knowing that we had you in our server gave me a lot of confidence that bacon and Rhm would be well assisted and I knew you would be a big contributor to our final wins there.

March Fires - I was really bummed that we couldn’t draft you this year, we really did want to but the stinky Durians decided to foil our plans and drop a bag on you. Regardless, I felt like Evuelf was really isolated in terms of prep early in the season so being able to add you when we did gave me a lot of confidence that he would have someone to bounce ideas off of and just work with in general. You’re one of my favourite players in Ubers, you play everything effortlessly and at a super high level, so I’m glad we still got to team together in this way and I appreciate you joining and helping us out even though you will say you didn’t do anything.

Fc - The first of my Villain brothers, I’m surprised you actually caved in and joined the server after Icemaster spammed the shit out of you with invite links but I’m not surprised at all at how much you were able to help in SS and SV after you joined. You’re one of the very best that’s ever touched either tier and you’re also one of my favourite people to be around. You’re extremely positive and helpful and easy to work with so I’m glad we finally managed to have a positive end to a competition we both were working together for. Keep doing your thing and your own UPL title will come very soon!

Isa - I didn’t know you at all personally before I drafted you in UWL two years ago but ever since then you’ve been one of my favourite people to talk to and collaborate with. Not only are you the GSC goat, but you’re also a super helpful and supportive person and you go out of your way to share your wide range of knowledge with everyone and to be a great chat presence no matter what chat you’re in. The only thing I asked Icemaster when we made finals was if I could add you to the team because I knew having you around would contribute to our success and the amount of help you gave dawn even in just 1 week was absurd. Thank you for everything these past 3 tours we’ve had.

The Strap - You’re quite the character for sure but you were also extremely helpful and useful to pretty much everyone on the team from the moment you joined, and that’s not counting all the vile chat interactions and memes and you even went out of your way to build me a team in finals because I wasn’t satisfied with the ones I was using. You’re a super capable player when you’re not busy cancering random tours like Mickey Mouse PL and I hope you had fun messing around with everyone here after Bandits were out.

Lana - We’ve become friends somewhat recently but you’re someone I already hold very highly not only in terms of your pokemon play (you’re an absolute beast and you’re always linking me another win you just got every 2 days) but also as a friend. The amount of help you gave us in SV was invaluable and carried us through some matchups but you’re also lovely to talk to in the server or in PMs and you’ve quickly become one of my favourite people in this community. I’m sorry that we didn’t manage to buy you this year (blame Icemaster) but hopefully you still had a good time as a helper.

Suzuya - As soon as Icemaster mentioned that u were joining the server after we bought Shuwri I knew we were gonna have an insane amount of SV help. You have really fresh and quality ideas and you are already one of the better players this generation has to offer. I’m glad you were there to help us during this tournament and we finally finished the job after barely falling short when we teamed in 2021. You’re great to have in any team chat and you’re a massive reason why we did so well in this tournament.

Fardin - I give you a lot of shit as a joke but you’ve been one of the biggest reasons for my success ever since AGPL III. Your willingness to give ideas or build and even test matchups with me until I figure out exactly how I want to pilot it (in semis it took us over 10 stall games for me to feel confident) is something I’m super thankful for and you’re always a great person to have in any chat. Thank you for dealing with my shit and always joining to support me in ORAS, a lot of my results have been vastly improved by your help.

Seldanna - I was a bit worried about how much help susciety would have after the draft because I’m super washed at DPP now but those concerns were instantly removed as soon as I heard you were joining to help. I wouldn’t trust anyone over you in terms of prepping for DPP and the amount of help you gave us there was ridiculous and a big reason to why I always felt like we were ready for whatever could come from our opponents. You’re also a great friend and person to be around and I love playing random gens with you, be it our favourite ORAS AG or some random Ubers generation just for fun. You even went out of your way to test my ORAS teams with me multiple weeks so thank you for always being selfless and supportive - we should play more games sometime

Enigami - I feel terrible that you only got to play twice because we decided to draft 3 RBY players but I think having you in the server was huge for YBW and making sure he had someone who could help out with RBY preparation and even when we did call your name you went out there and smashed your opponent. You’re great and I really appreciated your insights in game discussion when our rby games were happening, you’re super knowledgeable about the tier and no doubt a big part of our success there can be attributed to your help.

shiloh - You didn’t get to play much (although that’s what you wanted anyway), but every time you did you put on a show and left no doubt that we had a sub capable of beating anyone in any gen. Every week I would say in manager channel how impressed I was with your 2 performances and how we didn’t need to worry if anyone needed to sub out in whatever gen it was, because we had a super sub ready to come in and win wherever it was needed. I’m glad I pushed hard for us to draft you this year and hopefully you’re not too busy and can dominate in future UPLs because you’re talented enough to do so.

zuzhouwawa - I had quite literally 0 idea who you were before the draft and I was very positively surprised as the tour went on. Unfortunately we chucked you into 2 difficult matchups and you got a bit unlucky but the elite furret memes and the support you gave in SV on top of being a great chat presence and bringing the vibes up every time would make up for any record you ended up with. Keep signing up for these tours and I have no doubt you will fully break out soon.

etern - We didn’t get to interact as much because of the timezone differences and also because of my lack of SV involvement but before the draft Nora vouched for you extremely hard and after every week I understood why more and more. You’re an extremely strong player and you clearly have a great grasp of playing this tier. I don’t know how you just show up and load the crackhead shit Shuwri was cooking up and collect your win every week but it was super fun to watch as a teammate.

myjava - I had heard really good things about you before the draft from Pichus so I was really excited when we managed to get you for 3k but nothing I was told prepared me for how good you actually were. Your week 1 game set the tone for your season and I can’t remember the last time I was this impressed by how clean and smooth someone was at seeing out these matchups. You put in a lot of effort too in terms of testing and being involved and it really showed in your performances. You’re someone I will try to keep an eye on more closely after this tour because I had a lot of fun spectating your games.

DAWNBUSTER - 3k for someone who went 5-2 beating one of the most stacked pools in this tournament and doing so while building and pushing your own ideas into a gen you had very little experience in before this UPL. It’s safe to say that we hit a home run with your pick and you’re one of the big reasons why we were able to dominate this tournament after your first start in week 2. You’re also funny as hell and really got involved with the rest of the team which can normally be tough with GSC slots. You should continue playing this tier and I have no doubts you will be absolutely dominant in future tournaments after your experience in the tier catches up with that of your opponents.

YBW - During these tours I tend to get pushed towards helping RBY because not a lot of people know the gen but I didn’t have to do as much this year because of getting Enigami as well as how self sufficient and elite you were at preparing and playing this generation. You were great to hang out with and talk/play RBY with and I’m super happy that you had positive results, taking series convincingly off every single player who was ranked above you in PRs. You’re a star in this tier and I hope you get to show that time and again in the future tournaments we have.

susciety - I know you were a little disappointed in your record but you were one of the most active and positive presences in our team, cheering people up constantly and taking up a lot of our “bullying” in a fun way and keeping things lighthearted and fun. You got severely unlucky in your games and I’m sure losing to Lacus all the time can’t possibly be fun (I can’t relate to that) but you had the best attitude on the team and I would team with you again in a heartbeat. You’re a top tier DPP player and an even more elite teammate.

Heysup - This is like the 8th time we’ve teamed together in a tournament and you never cease to amaze and impress me with your creativity, dedication and ability. You were a little down with some of your performances/games but I think you were just as dominant and elite as usual, securing the top ADV record again and bringing some of the most fire and wild teams I’ve ever seen in a gen where everyone else is super boring and unoriginal (shoutout MMII). I had lots of fun playing 200 test games before Wednesday every single week and getting cooked by your insane techs, we should do some more games just for fun one of these days.

Rhmsitb - The second part of the Villains contingent, it is absolutely unacceptable how criminally underpriced you are every year in this tournament. All you do is go out there and win consistently and show up every single pool you’re a part of with your extremely creative teams and your precise and consistent playing style. You’re a pleasure to have as a teammate and I really admire how consistent you’ve been for the past 4 years now, which is why I bought you back in 2022 and really pushed for us to get you again this year. At this point you’re just collecting UPL trophies and I’m sure the 3-peat is coming next year.

baconeatinassassin - Another OG Villain (yeah we really brought a lot of the squad back for this), the best thing you did was saying no to retain and coming to play for us this season. Bo3 is consistently the hardest pool to win in and you dominated every single week and ended up with the best record on the team. You’re a ridiculous player and a super funny person to be around too (even got ranked as most unserious vish by our power rankings), and I’m glad we finally managed to win a tour together after AGPL IV and UPL X. You deserve this more than anyone else and I’m glad you’re having such a good year in tours because you've earned it (undefeated in SS is crazy).

Shuwri - Shoo Shoo, despite the 4-4 record (2-0 in playoffs tho), I’d say you were the most valuable player on our team. The insane amounts of help and preparation you gave to our 4 SV slots was nothing short of incredible and one of the major reasons why we won it all this year (even during the 4 weeks you were on vacation without your laptop). You have phenomenal building instincts and you churn out teams and ideas like no one else, making sure etern, bacon and java always had the upper hand in their games. Somehow to top it all off you ended up having the win of the season in finals with your mental herb NDM tech hitting at the best possible time and putting me in position to finish the week off. You’re a fantastic player and a (tera) stellar teammate.

Evuelf - Not many people have gone through as much with me on this site as you have. One of my oldest and closest friends and 3-time UPL teammate, you were undoubtedly one of the most active and important members of our team. You never hesitate in helping others even before doing your own prep and you are an extremely fun person to be around. You helped me in ORAS massively all season long, even though I’m a pain in the ass to test with and would consistently give you shit and be annoying after our games. Thank you for still sticking with me through everything and I’m glad it has finally paid off with a tour win for both of us. You’re one of the best ubers players of all time, regardless of generation and you show it every time you join any of these tournaments (keys x evuelf duo is still OP).

TrueNora - The carry of the team, I had been told before this tournament that you went hard but I had no idea what that actually meant until I saw what you did starting Week 1. Scouts, recreates, tests, builds, vibes, genshin impact, u even learned how to play ORAS just so you could dunk on me a few times and get me ready for my games when Evuelf was too mad at me to play. If all of that wasn’t enough, you’re one of the nicest and most pleasant people to be around and I thoroughly enjoyed teaming with you for the first time this year. I never want to be managed by anyone else ever again and if anyone deserved this tournament win it was you. You’re absolute fire and I can’t believe we weren’t already good friends before, ur the best (Mavs still got cooked in finals tho :c).

Icemaster - We’ve been friends for a while now and when you approached me to be retained at first I was unsure because I didn’t want another failed season of putting in time and effort just to not even have a chance. But as soon as I joined your server to help out with the sheet I realised how serious you guys were about winning this tournament and actually trying to go all the way. We’re very similar in many regards: expecting excellence from ourselves, taking losses pretty hard, going 100% at everything and even the part of not liking anything we make during the week and reverting to some old crusty 2020 team LOL. You’ve always been one of my favourite teammates to play these tours with not only because of your great personality but also because you’re capable of some of the most insane displays of SS on this website. Your game in finals vs loti reminded all of us of that and I’m glad you went on that winstreak the second half of the season to save your sheet ;). I give you a lot of shit as a joke but you were a perfect manager and you allowed me to be as involved as I wanted to be from the start, even when I told you I wasn’t sure if I’d play or not because of my vacation. You’re definitely not washed and your consistent dedication and commitment to your teams and your friends will continue to be rewarded with the results you deserve.

Lacus Clyne - officially my oldest friend on this website, we teamed in UPL when I had first joined and was even more terrible at this game than I am right now. You helped me get better at this tier and most importantly you were and still are always there for me as my closest friend on here whenever I need it. You were just as much a part of this team as anyone else and your activity and infectious personality really helped me have a great time and enjoy this tournament to the fullest. I told Ice and Nora you were the only person we had to have on the team no matter what when they retained me (but then your dumbass forgot to sign up despite me telling you at least 27 different times) and you still joined on as a helper and were just as influential as anyone could ever be as a player. You’re willing to help with anything, you consistently help me get better at ORAS and you deal with my bullshit more than anyone else. As a good friend of mine once said in a shoutout post “I don't have any jerks or groups” so you’ve always been one of my biggest sources of help and support and “even if she didn't know how to play ORAS she still volunteered to be my punching bag” and despite getting beat up 8 times in a row when I was testing my semis team vs you, you were still having fun and giving me shit and messing around which is how our friendship has always been. I really hope you don’t quit and we can stay in touch Lacy.

I don’t plan to join any more tournaments after this one so thank you everyone on the Vishes for making this tournament my favourite one and for coming together to finally achieve something I’ve been trying to do for 8 years now. Hopefully my games were somewhat enjoyable to watch and you guys had as much fun as I did.

Icemaster - what a turn around of a season after a rough start - managing while playing definitely has a different level of pressure to it and you delivered when we needed it! Your ability in game to identify win paths is always impressive. I did not think you could top off one of my favorite SS games but that game in the finals might have done it after you flipped the match up turn 1. Always enjoy building and testing with you and bacon and trying ant-ice teams vs you. Super glad we re-connected late during UWC and thanks for drafting and managing this squad with me, you're great to be around and sometimes a bit of a goofball (that week seven panic) but I would not have it any other way.

keys - you are super tough on yourself and hold yourself to the highest standard - you are meticulous in your prep and in the game and I enjoyed the ORAS test games we played. This game can be frustrating sometimes and I know you were unhappy about mons at some points but I am glad you turned it around. 2-0 in playoffs and clutching both series at 7 when at 6 wins - that is what matters. You are clutch and I am so glad we had you to close out in the playoffs. Also great to just get to know you better in general and thanks for helping us so much pre-draft and during the draft! Hope the clippers figure something out :C

Evuelf - my genshin buddy! You are good in so many gens and have so much valuable input everywhere. I hadn't really interacted with you before this tour and I am so glad I got to know you. You are super fun to be around and play games vs and just chat with in general. Your knowledge of BW and the way you cleverly tech for certain MUs is always a joy to watch - the Lum TTar to rock vs Darkrai on Magic Sun, SR groundceus to avoid TWave from SR Groudon, and the RestoChesto Palkia are all such cool ways to swing games.

baconeatinassassin - the evs experts. Trying to recreate or calc anything you bring is a pain because you have such a meticulous and specific evs that are impossible to easily calc out. Undefeated in SS (8-0) and a 7-1 record. I'm so glad we teamed up again after UWC and are now champions for both these ubers tours. You are one of the best players I've ever got to work with and it is always great to see you build out your ideas (I wish we got to bring Dracovish... at least Tangrowth got a win?). Your sleep schedule is as bad as mine during this tour but it is great to always go crazy in game discuss chats together so often.

Shuwri - YES I AM A YAPPER. Thank you for building and helping so much in SV and playing even during your vacation. Your ability to pilot a variety of teams and build unique squads carried us hard. You well and truly showed me the light of how strong stall can be in SV and how incredible Tera Grass Spdef Ho-Oh can be. Without you, Keys could not have clutched the series both times - you delivered timely and clutch wins to carry us over the finish line in playoffs both times and I cannot appreciate the work you put in for this tour enough. The mental herb tech popping off was a huge momentum swing and might have been the tour winning tech.

zuzhouwawa - FURRET. Your emotes and turning furret into a mascot for the team was amazing for the team vibes. I love all the furret emotes and I am super grateful for all the work you put in to test and help out in SV. You definitely need to play more ubers tours, the wins will come in time, you are really good and I am glad we got you!

susciety - a frustrating season for you marred by a lot of RNG. Nevertheless, you were a great presence and watching you and Zay cook in DPP always gave me confidence that you would load something good and solid. I was sold on you after you toasted us in UWC semis with that Lugia and I am glad we got to team after briefly getting to know each other vaguely through ADVPL and FF2's shenanigans.

Heysup - you are the one to beat in ADV ubers and I am so glad we finally got to team. Your teams are so unconventional and the way you build out advantages with unexpected mons and move picks is always amazing. Glad we got to play some tests games while you were picking your team for finals, those were fun. You playing early and establishing an early lead for us was always comforting.

Rhmsitb - perpetually underrated yet always performs well. You are one of the best active USM players currently and I am glad we finally got to team. Your confidence and your ability to pull the trigger in games is so impactful - particularly, your game in the semis where you got every call right with CB Marsh right was simply a joy to watch and go crazy over in game discuss.

DAWNBUSTER - you are a funny guy and have incredible aura. When we were going through the GSC pool in drafts, your name alone made me kind of want you funnily enough. I am glad you gave GSC ubers a go this tour and I hope you return for another run in the future. Unfortunately tail end of the season but taking games off both Vani and Conflict is incredibly difficult in this tier and I believe you will do even better if you decide to play more of this tier. Your game vs Vani was one of my personal favorites from this tour!

myjava - after UWC, I knew we would want to get you if possible. You are an amazing pilot and are great at using whatever we come up with to great effect and were a menace in both the games and tests. Your dominate win in the semis will stay with me for a long time - it was an excellent match up but you perfectly executed it. I hope you stick around for more ubers tours because you are a joy to watch and work with.

etern - me you and bacon - an oceania trio reunited. After UWC, I knew you could pilot pretty much anything and win as long as we gave you an OK matchup. A bit sad we didn't have a week that let us use that silly Lugia idea but I am glad we got to team again. Please stay around for more ubers, you are fire! That week 7 game where the burned Kyogre somehow managed to win really did leave an impression.

YBW - love watching you and eni prep - it feels like I learned a lot about RBY ubers just watching you two discuss the tier and build out ideas and teams. Fascinating to me how you can create advantages in a tier with such specific tools. I still don't really get how the overflow works but hopefully I will understand it eventually... You also showed me how strong Starmie Don is in this tier and honestly I think that is my favorite RBY ubers team! I really enjoyed your set vs Torchic in particular where you brought the same team and tweaked it.

shiloh - our super sub! thank you for being available always when we need a sub. You are an incredible player and your game vs SoulWind in particular showcased how great you can be in game. Unfortunate that we didn't get to play you more but it always comforting knowing that if something popped up we could slot you in and have great shot at winning still.

Enigami - your input and insight into RBY was greatly appreciated and your knowledge of the gen's mechanics is super insightful! I am glad we got you a win this tour. I was always happy when a RBY battle started and I saw that you were around because I knew someone could explain to us how the battle was going.

Lacus Clyne - you are a vish! You were with us since day 1 and have been always super active and helpful. Your banter kept the chat bright and popping and really helped build a fun atmosphere. Thanks for helping keys in ORAS and giving us tests in SS as well. I really hope you stick around - it was enjoyable just chatting nonsense and messing around.

Suzuya - WINDER! Thank you for helping us so much in SV this whole tour and helping me prep, build out ideas, and providing pastes and thoughts. I could not have felt as confident as I did every week without your input and ideas. I am glad that you are popping off - you have become an amazing player and I hope you will play next UPL and do well in upcoming SCL!

The Strap - our teambuilding and testing in SCL are still among my fondest memories. You are a crazy builder and you were super helpful in USM. You have so many pastes and insights and really helped bacon so much. Thanks for making our chat just that much more fun to be in!

Lana - you were so incredibly helpful and I could not have felt as confident as I did about our finals prep without you in SV helping. You really helped me iron out and fine tune so many teams since you joined and you just have great knowledge and grasp of SV ubers. You are also underrated funny and the whole "yea this is won" thing multiple times and everyone jumping on you was kinda hilarious. I really do hope you continue to play the tier!

Fardin - the best ORAS ubers stall playeroat? You gave me immense trauma when you beat byron in UWC with CM ID arceus and you also just had to beat drifting before you got banned... you are undoubtedly a great player and you were amazing supporting keys. Also just a funny guy and great to have in game discuss and the chats.

Seldanna - the highlord destroyer? It was always comforting knowing we had one of the best DPP ubers players helping us out. Thank you for helping sus and providing so many teams and ideas to help us. Really hope you play in a tour again sometime soon!

March Fires - MY OCEANIA GOAT - you are one of my favorite players and I really really really wanted to get you... and then you went for 33.5k. One of these days we will team outside of world cup tours... regardless, you are an amazing player, person, and friend - thank you for staying neutral in the finals despite there being so many friends of yours on the voyagers.

Goat Heart ♥ - one of the best USM players to ever do it - really grateful you came to help us in playoffs - it was comforting to know rhmtib had your support and your teams are simply amazing! We need to catch up more some time but you the GOAT. I do not remember that qwilfish game but if you said it happened it probably did...

Isa - it was amazing having your insight for the finals - you have sharp eyes and it was comforting knowing you and dawn had tested. Shame that the game ended up with match up like that but your insight and thoughts were great. Also underrated funny and insightful with the German phrases!

vani - the vishes multi time GSC god. Unfortunate that we did not team this year but I always love watching you work. Always so thorough and so many cool ideas that I did not know could be done. Thanks for helping us - I really liked the Mew set and kind of wish we saw it in semis!

Dave - without you, I never would have managed any team tour and gotten so emotionally attached to one franchise. The vishes might not be my first ubers team tour team, but this franchise is definitely the one I love and treasure the most - I am immensely fond of that squad with ff2, goat heart, ice, hg, and highlord in particular in addition to the squad from this year. Thank you for having faith in me and believing me to manage together and self buy that year. You are an amazing person and you gave me a lot of the confidence and experience I needed.

Fc - you are one of the best current gen builders - the stuff you would simply drop were always great and amazing jumping points and you had teams for pretty much any idea I could ask for. Thank you for helping so much - I am glad you joined us because your insights and teams are invaluable.

Hello everyone! This year I had the pleasant opportunity to enjoy this UPL as a helper instead of a player. That it would turn out to be the funniest UPL ever was not what I expected it all. It must be noted that prior to joining the Vishes I didn't really interacted with anyone outside of klefkwi so I kinda assumed it to be a bit awkward but... oh was I wrong... This team welcomed me with open arms and this is where I realized that these will be some enjoyable weeks.

There was seriously not one day where our chat was dead. These guys were always hardworking with their prepping and if they needed a break the general chat was there to put a smile on your face whenever necessary. Thank you for inviting me!

I was forced at gunpoint to post shoutouts so here they are:

TrueNora or better known as yellow dude might be the best manager to exist. I have never seen a manager work so hard to make their players comfortable. All this scouting, analyzing and building is something that you normally expect from a manager. But this guy took it up a notch and worked on a daily basis just to ensure that everyone has what they need. It is so admirable that it scares me sometimes that someone like you could one day be my opponent again. Outside of all that Pokémon stuff you were always so cool to interact with. Just stay how you are! You are probably the person who deserves this UPL trophy the most.

Icemaster the exact opposite from Nora. Always unserious and messing around. But this is exactly why this team needed you. In a weird sense Nora and you were the most optimal manager pair control this team. We didn't really talk to each other before this but I can proudly say that you are the best SS Ubers player to exist. Whenever you actually did your prep I could only notice how much thought and effort you gave in order to win this. The first couple weeks didn't go your way but that was only temporarily as you turned it out around as I expected. Thank you for reviving my love for SS Ubers!

zuzhouwawa our third manager! Always keeping the chat alive with your furrets where prior I didn't even knew this Pokémon existed. You have done so much to help for SV. Whenever someone needed a test you were one of the first players to raise their hands. Unfortunately your one UPL game didn't go your way but I am sure there are more opportunities to come. I can't wait to see what great things you will do in your next UPL!

baconeatinassassin the pet monkey. You are kinda similiar to Icemaster and 100 % share the same humor. We really didn't interact much but you always gave me a good laugh. Being slotted into BO3 meant that you probably had one of the hardest slots in this team but that didn't really seem to bother you considering your phenomenal record. Keep up the good work and I am sure there are more trophies to come!

DAWNBUSTER My knowledge about GSC is pretty much non existent, although I was pretty sure that suggesting a full bombing squad with sudowoodo as a lead seems a bit fishy. Thank god you didn't had the time to prep this squad otherwise I woulda have lost it. The GSC Ubers playerbase slept on you which turned out to be a fatal mistake as the vishes were happy to claim such a skilled player like you. Don't let me catch you finalizing that squad though.

Enigami you were quiet most of the time, but it turns out you were just busy winning at other tours before stepping in again to show your greatness. Unfortunately there were not many RBY / GSC slots to show off some more but in the end this trophy was in your hand anyways. Having someone so skilled as your backup slot was always relaxing to know in case things might go south.

etern never talked but always did what he had to do in order to win. That Kyogre comeback game shall never be forgotten. Nice games!

Evuelf we probably know each other since a long time ago but only had the chance to interact starting this UPL. I truly regret that we didn't talk sooner as you are such a skilled player and in general a cool guy. We played so many games and yet I can't forgive you what you did with that NDM. Outside of Pokémon there were so many things we could talk about. From starting with food to all the way to placing sport bets?! Anyways that was really random but hey we ended up winning some money (DON'T TRY IT KIDS). Hopefully we stay in contact. This guys prep channel was all about Genshin Impact btw...

Heysup We both really didn't interact with each other, but I do know that you are probably one of the best if not the best ADV Ubers player. There were so many games where you got haxed but you kept your composure and still pulled through. Really impressed.

myjava We never talked but then again you only have like 100 lines total. Still really impressed how you managed to be so dominant although being an OU main. Congrats on the trophy!

Rhmsitb I can't wrap my head around the fact that you always go for so low in the draft. It's like people are blind and can't see how much you are actually worth. Here you are now... looking from above with the trophy. Maybe they will finally realize what they are missing out on. Truly sorry again that I first forgot to include you in my Dracovish rankings.

Shuwri You always come off as a bit mysterious to me. I still remember when I tried writing to you in your channel but then hesitated as I was afraid to disrupt your (sometimes creepy) monologue. The amount of work you put in was so impressive. You doing the prep for all 3 SV slots while being on vacation is incredible. I'm confident that you will gain many throphies and can't wait to see what the future holds for you. Your teambuilding is like out of this world and your UPL finals game has basically confirmed how much of a genius you are.

It been such a while since I had this much fun playing which is why I am really thankful that you were a vish. I know that I come off as rude sometimes but I do hope that you didn't take anything personally. This UPL didn't really do you justice as you were probably one of the most unluckiest players throughout this tournament. But we all know that you are a really hardworking person.

shiloh The super sub. Always subbed in to safe the day. You didn't really type much so I don't know what to say. You always getting in whenever needed saved the team.

YBW RBY Ubers… for me it was the freeze gen where the luckier player gets rewarded heavily but you showed me a different side of this gen. I still remember that one time where I stayed up till 2 AM just to watch you play but then again had no idea if we were winning or not. Really confusing but it was fun to watch you pilot your teams! You should stan Chaewon more!

Suzuya One of the main SV tester. To this day I will still believe that you are from india. You can't just tell me that you are french out of nowhere. Overall really skilled player. Wish we played more against each other.

Fardin Probably one of the most creative builders. Sometimes a bit too much creativity but this is exactly what differences you from the others in a good way. Thank you for testing with Klefkwi when I couldn't.

Lana Namaste! Your random comments out of nowhere always made me laugh. That you were actively jinxing the games by saying that we already won was kinda funny. Thank god we pulled through! Thank you for helping us out in SV.

Seldanna You helped so much in DPP Ubers but I have yet to convince you how great Garchomp is. Seriously your effort here didn't go unnoticed and I do speak for the whole team that we are greatful that you were here. You should join some DPP Ubers tours so I can watch!

keys You kept your promise and finally won this. I'm just sorry that we couldn't do it together throughout these years as teammates. Atleast one of us got this eventually. Still a bit mad that I missed the sign ups but I doubt that we would end up in the same team anyways. On the bright side that meant we could still be in the same team YET AGAIN. Anyways you told me that you will be quitting now which I don't agree with but then again you reached everything you wanted to achieve. You should seriously stop with your FIFA addiction though.
