While being a jack of all trades is amazing in draft, besides its excellent speed, Tornadus-T has no other elite stats causing it to usually fall to the end of round 1 or later.

Common Roles
========
**Role 1**: Utility Pivot: Tornadus-T can use its incredible utility movepool with access to options such as Knock Off, U-Turn, and Taunt, to disrupt your opponent and force progress while having longevity due to its even stat distribution and ability Regenerator.

**Role 2**: Wall Breaker/Sweeper: Tornadus-T can use its strong mixed movepool in conjunction with damage boosting items or the setup options Nasty Plot and Bulk Up to break holes in teams or sweep games.

Common Moves
========
**Primary STAB moves**: Hurricane, Bleakwind Storm, Acrobatics

**Setup moves**: Nasty Plot, Bulk Up, Agility

**Utility moves**: Knock Off, U-Turn, Taunt, Substitute

**Coverage**: Heat Wave, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Psychic, Dark Pulse, Icy Wind, Crunch, Foul Play

Niche Moves
========
**Tailwind**:
Tailwind can be used to provide short-term speed control for your team. This functions well to enable breakers to clean up a game or if Tornadus-T is low on HP and does not have a good means to disrupt or damage the Pokemon it is facing.

**Sunny Day/Rain Dance**: Tornadus-T can utilize Sunny Day or Rain Dance if your team appreciates weather being up to increase their damage outputs in the respective weather, provide them with speed control, or activate a unique weather based ability such as Protosynthesis.

**Weather Ball**: If your Tornadus-T is facing or part of a weather team it can gain extra coverage through Weather Ball.

**Rest**: This move is found on physical sets with Acrobatics as you may setup and use Rest at low HP to regain your health and consume your Chesto Berry to become itemless thus boosting your Flying STAB.

**Brick Break** This move can either be found as coverage on physical sets or can have use if you anticipate playing against screens.

Common Items
========
**Heavy-Duty-Boots**: Tornadus-T can use Heavy-Duty-Boots to avoid taking damage from entry hazards to allow it additional longevity.

**Rocky Helmet**: Tornadus-T can equip a Rocky Helmet to punish contact moves it commonly absorbs such as U-Turn and Fighting attacks with little drawback due to Regenerator.

**Assault Vest**: Assault Vest can further bolster Tornadus-T’s Special Defence stat at little cost due to it’s wide movepool of attacks.

**Choice Specs/Life Orb**: Tornadus-T can utilize Choice Specs or Life Orb on wall breaking sets to supplement its damage output. Choice Specs provide the maximum boost to your damage when little coverage is needed while Life Orb allows additional flexibility to set up or to switch your attacks when necessary.

Niche Items
========
**Leftovers**: Tornadus-T can hold Leftovers to help it hit certain damage roll thresholds. This item is almost exclusively outclassed by Heavy-Duty-Boots. This item can see use when the opposing team lacks Stealth Rock however.

**Resistance Berries**: In certain matchups where you may require Tornadus-T to take an Ice, Electric, or Rock attack, these resistance berries may be useful.

**Expert Belt/Sharp Beak**: These damage boosting items can be found on set up or breaking sets to hit certain damage thresholds. These items have a niche due to their lack of any drawback.

**Chesto Berry**: This item will be found on physical setup sets using the move Rest to consume an item and boost Acrobatics while regaining health lost setting up.

Tera
========
Tornadus-T is almost always Tera banned but if it can Tera, Tornadus-T makes a very powerful Tera Captain. When Tera legal, Tornadus-T can use Tera Flying in an offensive manner to greatly supplement its damage output and provide it an accurate Flying STAB. Tera Ground, Electric, and Fighting may also be used to provide strong offensive coverage. Tornadus-T will also employ defensive typings such as Tera Water and Fairy to remove its weaknesses and Stealth Rock weakness for additional longevity.

Draft Strategy
========
Tornadus-T will be one of the premier Pokemon on your draft with a plethora of tools to build around. This Pokemon will support the rest of your draft incredibly effectively and is extremely flexible stylistically, fitting on teams ranging from offence to balance.

**Entry Hazards**: Tornadus-T is paired strongly with entry hazards as it does not often have the raw strength to knock out Pokemon at full HP. Tornadus-T is also excellent at knocking off Heavy-Duty-Boots from foes to enable hazard damage to stack up. Pokemon such as Glimmora and Samurott-Hisui who consistently stack entry hazards make for great teammates.

**Strong Breakers**: Tornadus-T can extremely consistently force Pokemon out and pivot with U-Turn giving you momentum into strong breakers such as Iron Hands, Chi Yu, and Raging Bolt. These Pokemon will output heavy damage to allow Tornadus-T to clean up later and appreciate safe entry to the field.

**Hazard Removal**: Due to its weakness to the Stealth Rock entry hazard, Tornadus-T is commonly forced into Heavy-Duty-Boots unless paired with consistent hazard removal. Pokemon such as Great Tusk and Iron Treads with access to Rapid Spin make great partners for Tornadus-T as they allow it far more item flexibility.

**Regenerator Pokemon**: On more balanced team compositions, Tornadus-T is well paired with other Pokemon with the Regenerator ability and pivoting capabilities. These types of teams consistently can control the pace of games and are very hard to break. Pokemon such as Slowking-Galar and Slowking fit this mold.

Checks and Counters
========
**Bulky Walls**: As a result of its middling attacking stats, Tornadus-T does not possess the power to break bulkier walls such as Ting-Lu and Slowking-Galar. This weakness can be mitigated by Tornadus-T frequently using U-Turn to pivot out and setup variants with the right coverage.

**Bulky Electrics**: Only possessing a Flying STAB typing and no natural Ground type coverage, Tornadus-T struggles to break bulkier Electric Pokemon such as Raging Bolt and Zapdos. As a result, Tornadus-T enjoys being paired with strong Ground Types.

**Faster Attackers**: Although Tornadus-T has an elite speed stat, some threats such as Weavile and Iron Bundle can outspeed it and due to its middling bulk, threaten Tornadus-T off the field. Tornadus-T can handle these threats by having some bulkier teammates to fall back on such as the aforementioned Iron Hands.

Draft Order: Rounds 1-2 late round 1 onwards

Point Range: 17-18 points

Overview: Tornadus-Therian has been an elite Draft League Pokemon since the conception of the format. Boasting an elite speed stat, strong utility movepool, and capable offensive abilities, Tornadus-Therian can fit on nearly any draft or team structure and succeed. This Pokemon’s incredible versatility and extreme consistency in terms of impacting battles continue to keep Tornadus-Therian at the top of draft boards. No need to mention what it does in old gens, we don't have analyses on old gens and the reader will most likely not know/nor care abt old gens. Talk about its weaknesses/drawbacks, its good but why isnt it R1 good? can mention that it suffers from having somewhat middling stats in everything bar speed, its a jack of all trades, master of none.

Common Roles
========
Role 1: Utility Pivot: Tornadus-Therian can use its incredible utility movepool with access to options such as Knock Off, U-Turn, and Taunt, to disrupt your opponent and force progress while having longevity due to its strong stat distribution and ability Regenerator.

Role 2: Wall Breaker/Sweeper: Tornadus-Therian can use its strong special movepool in conjunction with items such as Choice Specs or the setup option Nasty Plot to break holes in teams or sweep games. mention the physical set here, id also change specs to boosting items since LO torn is solid in some scenarios

Common moves
========
STAB: Hurricane, Bleakwind Storm, Air Slash, Acrobatics remove air slash, it does no damage and this gen if u rly want that bit more accuracy, use bleakwind

Setup: Nasty Plot, Bulk Up, Agility

Utility: Knock Off, U-Turn, Taunt, Substitute

Coverage: Heat Wave, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Sludge Bomb, Psychic, Dark Pulse, Icy Wind, Brick Break, Crunch, Foul Play

Niche moves: Tailwind, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Fling, Weather Ball Please follow the format of other analyses, niche moves are not listed in a single line.

========
Tailwind: Tailwind can be used to provide short-term speed control for your team and can function particularly well on niche sets. no need to say niche sets, its implied that its niche by being under niche moves. do however mention that its worth clicking to allow breakers to clean, or when torn is about to die and unable to damage the mon in front of it

Sunny Day/Rain Dance: Tornadus-Therian can utilize Sunny Day or Rain Dance if your team appreciates weather being up. why would a team appreciate weather being up, explain what kinda mons/teams benefit from this

Fling: This is used on physical sets that employ bulk up to provide a single use strong Dark move and shed your item to boost Acrobatics.

Weather Ball: If your Tornadus-Therian is facing or part of a weather team it can gain extra coverage through Weather Ball.

would honestly remove fling for rest, chesto rest is a more reliable way to procc acro on bu sets

Common items
========
Heavy-Duty-Boots: Tornadus-Therian can use Heavy-Duty-Boots to avoid taking damage from entry hazards to allow it additional longevity.

Assault Vest: Assault Vest can further bolster Tornadus-Therian’s Special Defence stat at little cost due to it’s wide movepool of attacks.

Choice Specs: Tornadus-Therian can utilize Choice Specs on wall breaking sets to supplement its damage output. id move LO here as a slash, mention why u would pick between the two. in the ebelt section slash in sharp beak

Rocky Helmet: Tornadus-Therian can equip a Rocky Helmet to punish contact moves it commonly absorbs such as U-Turn and Fighting Attacks with little drawback due to Regenerator. move this above av

Leftovers/Sitrus Berry: Tornadus-Therian can hold Leftovers or a Sitrus Berry to help it hit certain damage roll thresholds. remove sitrus, its a regen mon, id also move this to niche - mention that while leftovers is usable, its outclassed by boots in most games due to sparse removal and lots of hazard setters

Niche items
========
Resist Berries: In certain matchups where you may require Tornadus-Therian to take an Ice, Electric, or Rock attack, these resist berries may be useful.

Expert Belt/Life Orb: These damage boosting items can be commonly found on set up or breaking sets to hit certain damage thresholds. Life Orb in particular strongly synergizes with Regenerator as you can mitigate the recoil by simply swapping or pivoting out.

Big Nugget/Light Ball: These items are frequently found on physical sets with Fling having the intention of boosting the power of Acrobatics down the line. just remove these, i get the point but ur deffo overselling fling here

Tera
========
Certainly not always Tera legal, Tornadus-Therian makes a powerful Tera Captain. Tera Flying sets love the 100% accuracy of Tera Blast and often run boosting items to make Tornadus-Therian very difficult to check. Tera Ground and Electric are also strong offensive types to prevent paralysis and give coverage via Tera Blast. Tornadus-Therian also appreciates changing its defensive typing to remove its Stealth Rock weakness, gain other strong defensive typings, and add coverage. Tornadus-Therian will frequently use Tera Water, Fairy, and Fighting to do so. reword this, the assumption is that we use the seasnail tier list as a base. you thus wanna say that tornt is usually tera banned, when it is tera legal, it can use offensive teras to do xyz, and use defensive teras to do abc, giving a few examples of both - uve kinda done this but it just has to be reworded.

Draft Strategy
========
One of the largest draws to selecting Tornadus-Therian so early is the malleability it possesses in terms of teams that it can thrive on. Due to having a plethora of viable items, Tornadus-Therian loves being partnered with strong hazard removal options such as Great Tusk and Iron Treads. Tornadus-Therian also succeeds at a high level when it is weakening walls and pivoting in strong breakers such as Raging Bolt, Chi Yu, Iron Hands, and more similar strong threats. Another way Tornadus-Therian Teams are commonly constructed is 'Regen Cores' where you draft multiple Regenerator Pokemon (such as adding a Slowking-Galar to your draft) which are notoriously difficult to break. Tornadus-Therian also partners well on hazard stacking teams with teammates such as Glimmora and Samurott-Hisui due to its ability to Knock Off Heavy-Duty-Boots from the opponent very consistently. All that being said, Tornadus-Therian has very few drafts that it would actively worsen or not fit well on. this is poorly formatted. you want to break this down into 1-2 lines explaining what role torn plays in ur team (its something u build around). then add bullet points on a few roles ur teammates should fulfil, eg breakers, other regen pivots, hazard control and cleaners - torn can break/clean but its not great at either

Checks and Counters:
========
Tornadus-Therian notably is not able to force a significant amount of progress into bulkier special walls, bulkier Electric types, and faster offensive checks. Pokemon such as Ting-Lu, Raging Bolt, and Zapdos are higher tier examples of these defensive checks respectively where Tornadus-Therian can accomplish little more than pivoting out on them typically. Weavile is an example of an offensive check that out speeds and threatens to knock out Tornadus-Therian. Another Thorn in Tornadus-Therian's side is the prevalence of the Stealth Rock hazard which often forces it into the Heavy-Duty-Boots item or significant damage each time it hits the field. similar to above, organise these into categories, please read some other analyses if u want examples of what i mean by that

**Expert Belt/Sharp Beak**: These damage boosting items can be found on set up or breaking sets to hit certain damage thresholds. These items have a niche due to their lack of any drawback.

Tera Ground, Electric, and Fighting may also be used to provide strong offensive coverage. Tornadus-T will also employ defensive typings such as Tera Water and Fairy to remove its weaknesses and Stealth Rock weakness for additional longevity. (i dont think this puts enough emphasis on torn t being usually tera banned. i would reword this to start with "tornadus-t is commonly tera banned, however if it can tera...")

Draft Strategy

Tornadus-T will be one of the premier Pokemon on your draft with a plethora of tools to build around. This Pokemon will support the rest of your draft incredibly effectively and is extremely flexible stylistically fitting on teams ranging from offence to balance.

**Rocky Helmet**: Tornadus-T can equip a Rocky Helmet to punish contact moves it commonly absorbs such as U-turn and Fighting-type attacks with little drawback due to Regenerator.

**Assault Vest**: Assault Vest can further bolster Tornadus-T’s Special Defence stat at little cost due to its wide movepool of attacks.

**Choice Specs / Life Orb**: Tornadus-T can utilize Choice Specs or Life Orb on wallbreaking sets to supplement its damage output. Choice Specs provide the maximum boost to damage while Life Orb allows for setup and utilizing Tornadus-T's coverage more effectively.

Niche Items
========
**Leftovers**: Tornadus-T can hold Leftovers to help it hit certain damage roll thresholds, but is almost exclusively outclassed by Heavy-Duty Boots. It should only be considered when your opponent lacks a reliable Stealth Rock setter.

**Resistance Berries**: In certain matchups where you may require Tornadus-T to take an Ice-, Electric-, or Rock-type attack, their respective resistance berry can be useful.

**Expert Belt / Sharp Beak**: These damage-boosting items can be found on setup or wallbreaking sets to hit certain damage thresholds without drawback.

**Chesto Berry**: Chesto Berry can be used on physcial setup sets with Rest and Acrobatics

Tera
========
Tornadus-T is almost always Tera banned, but if it can Tera, Tornadus-T makes a very powerful Tera Captain. When Tera legal, Tornadus-T can use Tera Flying in an offensive manner to greatly supplement its damage output and provide it an accurate Flying STAB move. Tera Ground, Electric, and Fighting may also be used to provide strong offensive coverage. Tornadus-T can also employ defensive typings such as Tera Water and Fairy to remove its weaknesses, including to Stealth Rock, for additional longevity.

Draft Strategy
========
Tornadus-T will be one of the premier Pokemon on your draft with a plethora of tools to build around. It will support the rest of your draft incredibly effectively and is extremely flexible stylistically, fitting on teams ranging from offence to balance.

**Entry Hazards**: Tornadus-T pair extremely well with entry hazard setters, as it can remove opposing Heavy-Duty Boots and appreciates the extra chip damage to secure KOs. Pokemon such as Glimmora and Hisuian Samurott that consistently stack entry hazards make for great teammates.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Tornadus-T can extremely consistently force Pokemon out and pivot with U-turn to bring is strong wallbreakers such as Iron Hands, Chi Yu, and Raging Bolt. These Pokemon will output heavy damage to allow Tornadus-T to clean up later and appreciate safe entry to the field.

**Hazard Removal**: Due to its weakness to Stealth Rock, Tornadus-T is commonly forced to use Heavy-Duty Boots unless paired with consistent hazard removal. Pokemon such as Great Tusk and Iron Treads make great partners for Tornadus-T, as they allow it far more item flexibility.

**Regenerator Pokemon**: On more balanced team compositions, Tornadus-T is well paired with other Regenerator pivots, as they can check a wide range of threats and consistently generate momentum. Galarian Slowking and Slowking are great examples.

Checks and Counters
========
**Bulky Walls**: As a result of its middling attacking stats, Tornadus-T does not possess the power to break bulkier walls such as Ting-Lu and Galarian Slowking. This weakness can be mitigated by pivoting to teammates or setting up.

**Bulky Electric-types**: With no Ground coverage other than the usually-restricted Tera, Tornadus-T struggles to break bulkier Electric-types such as Raging Bolt and Zapdos. As a result, Tornadus-T enjoys being paired with strong Ground-types.

**Faster Attackers**: Although Tornadus-T has elite Speed, some threats such as Weavile and Iron Bundle can outspeed it and threaten Tornadus-T off the field. Bulky teammates like Iron Hands are recommended to help check these fast attackers.
