What type of bug are you reporting? Random Battles
What is the bug?
I was given a Tinkaton that knew, but could not use, Swords Dance. It had not been taunted, but the swords dance move was grayed out and I could not click it. This error occurred immediately upon switch in. (I switched in to a Goodra-Hisui, who knocked off my Life Orb, activating Tinkaton's Pickpocket ability and stealing my opponent's Assault Vest.)
EDIT: Thanks folks for explaining what Assault Vest does. I only know this item from Random Battles, so I never knew that it prevented the user from choosing status moves. I feel silly but appreciate the new knowledge!
This error persisted upon switch out and switching it back in.
I can provide a screenshot (currently my profile picture). Unfortunately I did not download the playback of the game, because this would not have shown the error. In retrospect, I should have done this to prove that I had not been taunted.
