In keeping the same format that we used in 2024, the sheer amount of games to be played will keep many on their toes until the final hours of qualifiers and pools. With Spain being relegated in 2024 after having won it all in 2023, they're certainly a team to watch from the very beginning as they attempt to mount their comeback in 2025. Europe is another team to watch, especially after the recent update to eligibility policy and when you take into account they've made it to semifinals in four of the last five years. In fact, the last SEVEN editions have had different regions claim the blue trophy, so perhaps we may even see bigger upsets.
US Midwest won it all last year, their first time sitting atop the podium, and in the last seven years, each US region has won the trophy once. Will we see any of the US teams earn another trophy, or will we see a team run through qualifiers and take it all the way for the first time since 2022? Will Africa use their starting position in the main event as a propeller to push for the trophy? Who will predict the highest percentage of pools matchup winners correctly? Only time will tell, so keep watching and remember:
