The Official "Complain about being beat by Seattle Defense" Thread

It looks like most people in our league don't really care what type of draft we have, and the people that would prefer snake have a decent reason to prefer it. Also, the people that prefer auction probably wouldn't go into rage mode if we stuck with the snake draft, so I guess we can just stick with the snake draft.

With that said, I wouldn't mind joining another league with you guys that want to have an auction draft. Somebody can set that up and be commissioner. I'm not interested in running more than 1 league.
 
From what CK was saying last year, I think Auction would be fun to try. I've never done it though so I wouldn't want to commish that league either. That can be like a bonus league or something.
 
I'm back in this year.

1) Don't care, never done an auction before but should be fun
2) Scoring is fine
3,4) No idea, should be able to be flexible for the draft.
 
For now I have it set as a snake draft on Sun Aug 26 7:45pm EDT.

I know a couple of you didn't want the weekend, but hopefully Sunday evening doesn't count as the weekend for you guys!

If you have any issue with this time let me know as soon as possible so we can work something out.
 
I've updated the signup list to reflect the League registration now. League A is set, but the other Leagues are still up in the air. We currently have 14 people signed up, so that could be one large league if nobody else expresses interest. I'd like to get at least 6 more people to register so we can have two more leagues at 10 players each. If we're hurting for people, some League A players can join other leagues as well. Lakers and Shinryu have expressed interest in playing but have not included their emails yet, so they have not been added to the list. Also, I will NOT be renewing League C myself since I cannot access my old account anymore, so it will be started fresh by whoever ends up being commissioner.

Also, if you're interested in being a commissioner of League C or B (if Lakers doesn't feel like it) please PM me and let me know. Let's fill up these spots and make this the best year of smogon FF yet!
 
I'm down for second league, kinda like what we did last year with an auction Waterbomb.

Can we get those guys in again?
 
I think the best way to make that work is for someone to go ahead and create the Auction league, and just let it be first come first serve. Since it's a bonus, it's an unnecessary step to have people register here first before joining it. I will commish it if nobody else wants to, but I have no prior knowledge of how an Auction draft goes so I don't know if that would be a big obstacle to my ability to run it effectively. Any thoughts from people who have done Auction before?
 
It's not really that much different as far as running it goes. The only extra step you have to take really is determining what the auction $ for all the teams would be. After that it's really just like any other league.
 
I will be running my yearly wacky huge roster spots, huge points league of course. Just not interested in establishing any details this early, it is not even close to September yet...
 
i was told there was fantasy football and i wish to resume my role in league b or whatever league i must be in...........................
 
Alright I renewed league B guys, ill send everyone the password sometime soon, I assume mostly everyone will be back from how it looks
 
I can't remember which league I was in last year but assuming the league B invitations went out I didn't receive one. So who else would be up for a league C?
 
If you've already registered for League B, please let me know so I can update the spreadsheet and determine who will be in League C.
