Hi! We're going to start doing a trial QC "program" to encourage new users to join the team. If you've been writing for our section and believe you've got the metagame knowledge required to QC effectively, PM me to let me know.

The only real difference between a trial QC member and a regular QC member is that the former runs their checks by the QC team before posting. Their checks are still perfectly valid and do not require you to get another QC check on top of them.

The Quality Control (QC) Team
The Quality Control team is responsible to ensure every NU analysis is up to the high standards Smogon expects for its content. These analyses are being viewed by thousands of individuals across the world, so a high standard of quality is necessary.

If the QC team does not think your analysis is up to on-site standards, they have the right to reassign or reject it. Make sure you familiarize yourself with C&C standards if you wish to prevent this from being the case.

As NU C&C gets ready to start back up in April, we've added more to our ranks over the past few days. etern and Kiyo join us as full members, whereas roxie, Sawkasm, and Shengineer will be trial QC members. Welcome all of you o7

Since we're getting into the more stable part of this generation, we'd love it if we could get more people on the QC team to move things along more quickly. If you've written good analyses—and especially if you plan on writing many more, then you could qualify for the AMQC team.

We haven't gotten a ton of enthusiasm or submitted checks from the current AMQC team after I left it; however, we are open to adding on new members to both our AMQC and official QC team. Now, this isn't to diss or throw shade at the current AMQC team, but it's moreso to highlight the fact that we'd welcome the presence of active newcomers interested in moving analyses along and eventually becoming a part of the QC team.

Those of you who feel qualified may contact Rabia, PowerOfMemes (me), or Lucario wherever, and if you're knowledgeable enough on the metagame, we'll add you on and explain the process to you. We will keep our eyes open for new recruits too, though!
