Well, to be fair, a lot of the people didn't actually use the new Pokemon. My thoughts: Porygon-Z is basically the definition of a nuke. MegaBunny is ridiculously powerful. I'm kinda confused with MegaBro. Maybe I just didn't use it right but it felt kinda underwhelming. It's Sp. Def is really low until it boosts up. It's taunt bait if it's trying to boost. Every dark type stops its stored power set. Why exactly was it banned?
Mega slowbro is a huge pain to take down. It basically invalidates physical attackers while it's still alive. It's comparable to a physical chansey.

It takes reduced damage from knock off, and can abuse regenerator early game. And it isn't complete taunt bait, with 130 spA and a very decent offensive movepool. Being able to set up is the cherry on top.
