Electric - Weezing-Galar by Yoshiblaze
Pokémon: Weezing-Galar
Tera Type:![]()
Type of Tera Form:![]()
![]()
Ability: Levitate
Stats: 65 / 90 / 140 (+20) / 125 (+40) / 70 / 50 (-10)
New Moves: Thunder Wave, Volt Switch
Removed Moves: N/A
Competitive Overview: Seems like most of us went the defensive route with Tera Electric, which is interesting since Electric is fairly mid as a defensive typing but I guess it makes sense since we have Pawmot as an offensive Tera Electric mon already. So, I did the same thing, basically doing one of my favorite things that Tera can do, being able to turn anything into Eelektross. I was gonna do this with Gengar but that seems too easy, so here's another Gen 1 Poison-type that naturally gets TBolt. GWeezing is usually used as a way to Defog on Gholdengo, but this TeraForm trades that for much improved offensive capabilities and a substantial physical bulk boost as a cherry on top, so even if you're forced to Tera before beating Gholdengo you can just smack it with a Fire Blast to threaten it. Volt Switch is also a huge buff to base and this TeraForm, since one of Weezing's biggest issues is how much of a momentum sink it is.
Ice - Meowscarada by Yoshiblaze
Pokémon: Meowscarada

Type of Tera Form:![]()

Ability: Trace
Stats: 76 / 133 (+23) / 87 (+17) / 81 / 70 / 133 (+10)
New Moves: Fake Out
Removed Moves: N/A
Competitive Overview: When I subbed this as a Water Mega Lopunny in Slate 1, I forgot the important part of Mega Lopunny in that it has actually high powered STABs. The calcs I was doing on Tera Blast were so sad, I couldn't tell y'all about them. Now as an Ice-type, Triple Axel will hit hard enough to make it worth the Tera, especially if you hit a Triple Axel before you Tera and then (until you switch) you get the STAB Tera boost on it and do silly damage. You do require hazard control though, since it's a Rocks-weak pivot that can't hold boots.

Pokemon: Volcanion
Tera Type: Ground
Type of Tera Form: Fire/Water
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
Stats: 80/110/120/150/120/70 (650) (+20 SpAtk, +30 SpDef)
New Moves: Stealth Rock
Removes Moves: -
Competitive Overview: Viable Neutralizing Gas user, lack of Heavy-Duty Boots hurts it before tera'ing, but after tera it becomes extremely bulky, both physically and specially, while dealing heavy damage due to its boosted SpAtk as well as good offensive type combination. Many Pokemon that rely on their ability are annoyed by Neutralizing Gas shutting it off, while they are also threatened by its STABs too.
