Temple Run

It's time to talk about the greatest game on the app store, Temple Run. If you're like many others, Temple Run has hit your school like The Plague, and everyone is playing it in classes, and everyone is talking about it. And why not play Temple Run? The game is as beautiful as it is addicting.

So, what are your high scores? What strategy do you use when playing the game? Favorite character, etc.

My high score is 17.3 mil, my strategy is to jump over everything that I can go under because that way my vision is not obstructed, and the asian lady is my favorite character.

Oh my god its sooooo good like you have no idea

Anyways I'm just trying to get all the multipliers in, I'll abuse the glitch later

I'm begging you not to abuse the glitch! I've never done it but it feels better to get a super high score without cheating!

i actually love this game ahaha

its so addicting and fun to unlock each accomplishment, and imo its exactly what i'd want in an iphone app - something that kills time and is entertaining.

I've managed to get everything but 10,000,000 points, so I've been trying to unlock that final accomplishment.

i'm a big fan of Montana Smith just for the Indiana Jones references made when i crash lol

lots of kids in my school have unfortunately been abusing the glitch, which obviously defeats the purpose of a "how long can you run" game....

either way, if youre looking for a fun timekill, temple run is a good download, especially since its free :D

The fact that Temple Run is free is just icing on the cake. I just broke 10 mil yesterday on my way to the city. What you need to do is just concentrate solely on the game. And when you're close to getting 10 mil, don't get excited. Hype will only bring u down

oh my god this game is so addictive. everyone I know just uses the glitch, but I've managed to only crack 1 million (yeah, I kinda suck). coin magnet is my savior. everytime I break my high score I get excited and die almost immediately after. :(

My friends turned me on to this game, and for a free app, this game is amazing, and looks great to boot. My high score is, like, 680,000 since I just started, but I'm getting better at it.

That, and Tiny Tower, which I feel the need to keep checking all day.

There's a glitch that lets you keep moving without any obstacles. I know you have to do it on the tutorial mode but idk how to do it.

it is indeed a plague at my school.

AND IT SUCKS ASS! No really, what is the point?

Yes someone agrees.... My art teacher lets kids use their iPods and stuff so all my friends are totally absorbed in temple run and won't talk to me.... I don't have an iPod I have an iPad which is not allowed so I am alone....

I just got this game, and I have to say, it's great. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but there's something about this game that I really like.

oh man i love temple run
pretty bad at it though; i haven't even broken a million yet

and yes it is spreading like the plague at my school

my wife was playing this for a while on her iPhone. Seems shallow and pointless tbh. Angry birds seems more engaging.

Maybe he means 2000 meters? That would make a bit more sense. I've only broken 1,000,000 points a couple of times. I play the game on the bus a lot though so I end up getting distracted and end up falling down a hole or missing a turn. I have to agree though, it is a very addicting game, maybe the attraction will peter out once I unlock all the characters...

once you unlike all the characters, it makes you want to get all of the achievement thingies. once you finished that, you just wanna get a great score. once you do that, you wanna have the best score in school. the only way to stop playing this game is to break 15 mil or to just like destroy your iphone/ipod/ipad

tbh Angry Birds is more fun to listen to than to play.

Also looks like we have another unfortunate Jersey resident here. Are you rich since you live in Bergen County?

I gave up on Angry Birds because I couldn't be one of the levels :(
And just cause i live in BC, doesnt mean im rich. I could live in Englehood or Ridgehood
