Yes. It gets 1.2 times move power on ALL of its moves when Terastallized. Just a bit of trolling
For clarity, not just when Terastallized. As long as Ogerpon is holding a Mask, it's all the time.

And as clarity for what I believe arnimacarni actually asked, no. A knocked out Ogerpon is still only worth 1 for Supreme Overlord. FuecocoBoi was just making the equivalency that Ogerpon's 20% damage omni-boost when holding a Mask is the same as a SO Kingambit with 2 fallen allies which also adds 20%.

even better then I explained
ivy cudgel is just close combat with higher crit chance and without drawbacks with a mask

thoughts on scarf zamazenta?

Being able to outspeed proto speed valiant WHILE BEING ADAMANT and still OHKOing things like firepon which are otherwise scary and 2hkoing corv with rocks after tera is pretty funny

252+ Atk Tera Fighting Zamazenta Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 190-224 (47.6 - 56.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Maybe a slight case of 4mss since you want crunch for ghosts se for flyings and heavy slam for fairies but ice fang is nice for lando and gliscor and wild charge hits bulky waters like alomomola (even though cc is a 2hko if it loses boots)

what do yall think? Speed control that still hits like a truck?

I fucking despise Sneasler. "Ogerpon is so broken ban Ogerpon" no, ban sneasler. Trickle down balancing doesn't fucking work. Sneasler is fucking obscene in the pressure it applies even when it's in the back. One wrong move with a single layer of (non toxic spikes) hazards down and you're liable to get swept. Sneasler is easy to check in a vacuum, but it has the movepool and base stats to muscle through most of its checks. Unburden is ridiculous on a pokemon that doesn't actually need to swords dance in order to be a threat. There's literally zero reason to keep sneasler in the tier other than the fallacy of "high ladder balancing will balance lower ladders" because that doesn't work.

Could you elaborate? I've used sneasler and, while what is essentially better Hawlucha is pretty scary, I find the eternal dilemna of setting up Attack or Speed really gets you in this fast-paced metagame. Often I feel forced into 50/50s where I essentially just guess whether the opponent is going to switch to BE Valiant and I should CC and then Gunk Shot or switch to Ghold and I should SD and then Lash Out next turn to KO. If I predict wrong and SD on the Valiant or CC on the Ghold, I'm forced to switch out because they can KO or cripple Sneasler. I also found that Sneasler has a plethora of midgame checks that can take it on when healthy- Landorus-T(usk) are the biggest ones ofc but also Garchomp, Dragapult, Moth, Rotom, etc. that can all switch in relatively safely on Sneasler regardless of what it does and force it out. Most of these Pokemon are frail, so Sneasler can eventually beat them, but they make it so that Sneasler can't just set up immediately and win. We also have 2 excellent defensive poisons, Pex and Glowking, which can wall any Sneasler that doesn't commit to Tera Ground. It's also not the best at switching in due to low defensive stats. So, yes, sneasler is pretty scary to stop once it has gotten into the sweep, but I find its numerous flaws make it hard to find opportunities to get into that position.

One: why woul you use lash out on this Mon? Two: set up damage, it is more helpful in the long run. SD + CC + White Herb + Unburden has huge sweep potential, Acrobatics should always be your fourth move with Flying tera, removing ground and flying weakness while getting STAB on Acrobatics. I always run DC over Gunk, 100 percent accuracy with 50 percent chance to para, poison, or sleep is better than 80 percent accuracy with 30 percent chance to poison.

As a sneasler enjoyer in Terrain, I do see the frustration. It can be easy for it to sweep. On the flipside, it only gets one chance to sweep and has insane 4MSS leaving it walled by something, whether it be Ghold, Zapdos, Glowking, etc. Defensive Teras from pokemon like ursaluna also can force it into 50/50s and the defense lowering effect from CC will leave it vulnerable to priority. I think it is a great Pokemon, but balanced by the support it needs (terrain setter), being 1 time use, and needing to deal w/ 4mss.

Minor question in this mix, does Glowking stop Sneasler since you mentioned you run Lash Out? Its part Psychic typing undercuts the resistance to Sneasler's STABs at that point even unboosted.

I actually hadn't considered the move being potentially useful, letting Sneas hit the mentioned Glowking, Gholdengo, and Ghost (Tera) targets like Skeledirge or Dragapult while punishing the usual Tera Fairy circumvention with its Poison STAB. If you were running Fire Punch already this seems the superior option against most targets bar Corviknight (who would be hit harder by STAB Close Combat anyway) and not requiring your Tera like Ground Blast to break those checks.

252+ Atk Sneasler Dire Claw vs. 252 HP / 204+ Def Hatterene: 224-266 (70.4 - 83.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

The thing is, the best Sneasler sets will always set up speed if you give them a turn. Balloon Sneasler needs to simply eat a u-turn. Herb Sneasler either clicks Close Combat or eats an intimidate. Seedler being the most braindead of them all because there isn't a single other decent terrain setter in the current pokedex means that one wrong prediction against these teams, one incorrect move based on info you currently have or were conditioned into and the game is over. And yeah there's an argument that all of pokemon has been like that for a long time, but very rarely to the extent of Sneasler. Sure there was Volcarona, some of the UB's in gen 7, and Hawlucha in gen 7 and 8, but at the same time, none of them were baseline strong enough to instantly win the game, there had to be at least one turn of setup involved. Sneasler, on the other hand, is absurdly strong even at +0, has the movepool to muscle through checks (i.e. ice punch for glando), and doesn't necessarily have to succeed with an unburden sweep to still be a threat, it's still absurdly fast. But still, you should always assume it's unburden Sneasler until you have information to the contrary. With no info, an unknown Sneasler set applies immense pressure even when it's not out because you always know that if you fuck up, or if they double switch at the right time, the game has a chance to be over immediately.

meanwhile Gunk has a 20 percent chance to do jackshit
also if you have set up it still is a OKHO

Lol oof okay

not here to talk about the meta, i just wanted to say how much i love ogerpon
she's a literal korok child who decided to beat the shit out of ou with cosplay and a stick
"Awwww, look at her. She's so CUUUUUTE!!!"

Ogerpon has learned Ivy Cudgel

"Yay a new move!! Any move she can use is filled to brim with cuteness :D :D :D"

"Wait why is she running at me with a mac-"

WHAM!!!

Player has fainted.
Yea ogerpon is cute. Her positive demeanor is just priceless. The mask is simply her being shy and her considering your impending demise

On another note, here’s a reminder that the Treasures of Ruin had all of their BST lowered by 10. They knew Ting Lu was going to be too busted though, so they removed 15 base stats then added 5 to special attack

I don't even wanna know what someone just posted, but if its something sus to do with Ogerpon I really do not want to know

sorry I usually try to keep my shitposts more timely but shoutout to this fun 1.2x buff on these masks right?

trying to be patient but any update on when the viability rankings will come out?
It'll be at bare minimum a month. The meta is less than a week old, and we need to sift through the meta and find what is broken. Once those are gone, mons that weren't good have a chance to find a niche. It'll be probably another week until a viability list is created. Once new toy syndrome dies down and people settle on what's good, then a ranking will be created.

Edit: I decided to include some examples.

Previously, Bax had a strong hold on the meta and outclassed Garchomp completely. With Bax gone, Chomp can take it's place as a strong, physical dragon type with scale shot.

Right now, Manaphy is legal, but many people are calling for it to be banned. If it does, some ground types might become more viable (like Great Tusk, tho he may be fine now anyways.)

A9T is also enabling HO very easily rn. If it gets the boot, mons like Alomomola who like a slower style of play we become more viable.

It takes time for all the variables to settle, so it takes time for what is viable and what isn't to reveal itself.
