*editors note, for those familiar with this team you may have noticed that I have changed the nicknames for this rmt, this is mainly because I fucking hated music and I think playboi carti is an awful human being for making us wait 5 years to drop 30 songs and have like 2 of them be good, I will not be repping this lame ass loser for my RMT.

Hello, I am pannuracotta. Throughout my tenure in the OM community, I've mained many tiers, but recently I find that Godly Gift has really stuck with me. I've been very into GG ever since I first got to play it in OM spotlight league like, 4 years ago? I was playing it on and off in Gen 8, but I think Gen 9 GG, as of recent, is some of the most fun I've had playing OM's. The tier rewards good building and creativity over anything else, even more so than most OM's, while also requiring good clicks.
The team I want to share with you all today is what I consider to be the strongest GG team at the moment. It wins game with ease, and has tools to outplay every match-up. I don't try to keep it a secret that I've been really in love with fat teams in GG-- I just think they're so much better than trying to string together an awkward offense or building a team with 4 bad mons, a Zacian-crowned, and a random breaker in the speed slot.
Fat teams did get heavily neutered by Alomomola's ban, as it provided fat teams with a lot and let them handle the plethora of scary special attackers the tier has to offer, not to mention Slow Pivoting, Wish support, Regen, etc. It did a lot for the team, This team is my attempt at building a fat team that can handle Special Attackers and also give me room to outplay most MU's while having a sturdy defensive backbone to fall back on, as I think that playing balance teams recklessly is about the most fun you can have.
Teambuilding Process
For those unfamiliar, GG works by donating one God (Pokemon, usually a legendary) stats to the rest of the team, based on the team order. The donation order is HP/Atk/Def/SpA/SpDef/Spd

Hydrapple is what I started to build around; it excerts offensive pressure while bringing defensive utility to the team, thanks to its good resistances and amazing bulk. I wanted every Pokemon on this team to bring something both in terms of defensive utility, but also being able to make progress

Ditto is an amazing tool against both HO and fat teams, especially when paired up with Regenerator. Ting-Lu is the teams dedicated special wall and is tasked with beating every special attacker.

About time I chose the teams god; I knew I wanted good HP, good speed, and passable SpDef, Arceus happened to fit all those roles while bringing other important utility to the team. Ghostceus specifically because it has a good neutral defensive match-up into mostly everything and it also spinblocks

Clefable is put in the PhysDef slot as I wanted a Knock Off Absorber to help deal with Knock Off + Hazard strategies, it is also a Knocker of my own. A Fairy-type is also useful to have.

Last slot was the hardest to figure out, I had ALOT of holes to fill: A Ground immunity (No, Hydrapple does not count). And I know I needed Defog as I had 2 very hazard weak members in Arceus and Ting-lu. My friend Greybaum had vaguely mentioned SpA slot Corv to me, and it fit this team perfectly, so i decided to try it out.

Imposter Lite. Ditto is here as it is a fantastic tool against both Offense and Fat Teams. Against offense, this is a fantastic scout, letting me figure out my opponents' movesets, warning me about techs, and giving me the right information so I can properly plan how to play around a threat. It is also set up deterrent / punishing-- most people do NOT imposter-proof their stuff outside of BH, so letting a burnt Zacian go to +4 or setting up one too many DD's with your Roaring Moon may prove fatal.
Against fatter builds, it provides me with a surefire win in a PP Stall war, as Imposter provides infinite PP, as long as I can switch out. Making progress with no drawback is fantastic, especially if their best way to win is to not lose by not using up their PP. I am running Boots Ditto instead of the classic Choice Scarf as you dont need to outspeed if you live hits, 120 HP + The copied Pokemon's (usually bolstered) Statline is good enough to live a hit and dish out damage in return, especially if the threat you're copying is burnt or paralyzed. Being able to swap moves makes a Ditto copying stat boosts that much scarier to deal with while also making it hazard resiliant and able to use more PP in drawn-out games.
The type is Water, I dont think I've ever clicked Tera with Ditto, but Water is a good neutral defensive typing, and notably it resists Zacian's Behemoth Blade. Ghost could also make sense if you're worried about ekiller.

Arceus is the team's god, famously having 120 across the board in terms of stats-- which is fantastic for a more balanced team like this. 120 Attack or Special Attack isnt all that impressive, but it is a Seriously huge HP number, Almost doubling my Clefables Defense, and Providing both Ting-Lu and Hydrapple with stellar stats as well.
Ghostceus is being played specifically for a few reasons. Ghost is an amazing offensive typing as the tier has little to no normals, and the ones that are around HATE getting burnt by Will-o-Wisp. All the Dark-types hate being burnt as well. The combonation of a Hard hitting judgement + threatening wisp makes it a fantastic hazard setter / spinblocker, as it spin blocks tusk and treads, and neither Corviknight or Mandibuzz appreciates being burnt and whitlted down-- other forms of removal are NOT REAL.
Will-o-Wisp is obscenely broken and lets Arceus soft check every physical attacker that doesn't wanna exhaust a potential tera, as such i invest heavily into SpDef to better live special hits. The speed lets me outrun Base 90s- notably Kyogre, Ho-Oh, and their receivers, The speed tier also lets me outspeed Great Tusk to ensure i win the 1v1 and a plethora of other slow-ish mons, Samurott being the big one. Tera Fairy is ran incase i need to turn my Dark Weakness into a Dark Resist and emergency burn like, an Urshifu or Weavile.

Clefable has been the face of boring ass balance teams throughought a plethora of tiers for an entire decade, and its no different here. It glues the team together and provides crucial support. Magic Guard is a fantastic ability here and while the status immunity is kinda whatever, being able to safely swap into Knock Off from mons like Hamurott, Tusk or Weavile is absolutely crucial for the team as both Hydrapple and Ditto rely heavily on their items. Being a Dark-type resist just makes it better at this job, while also helping swap into mons that Arceus cant handle, like Urshifu-s.
Because i am running Stealth Rocks on Arceus, i can afford to fit both Knock Off and Thunder Wave on Clef. As the teams sole Knocker Clefable has a crucial role in keeping mons that are very attached to their items, like Ho-Oh or Lando-T at bay. Thunder Wave is good as it not only slows down faster threats, especially Tera Fire physical attackers that avoid Arceus' Burn, but it also creates ample opportunities for Hydrapple to set up and further increases Dittos' odds of winning a 1v1. Its also useful for Calm Mind mons like sinistcha or arceus formes that have longevity against Ting.

Corviknight was the last addition and is the glue that puts the team together. It alleviates the teams hazard weakness and keeps Arceus, Ting-Lu, or an unfortunately knocked Hydrapple from being chipped to smithereens. It is also a slow pivot, able to safely get in Hydrapple or Ditto on the field, which can be huge against threats like a Zacian or Ogerpon. I also really appreciate the full-on Ground-immunity, as while it is a Ground resist, Hydrapple doesn't really swap into any ground-types safely, between Ice Spinners, U-turn, and Toxic.
To take advantage of its immensely bolstered Special Attack stat, I've decided to run it with Hurricane, while it is inaccurate, it deals SO much damage, making Corviknight actually able to dish pressure out (haha get it because its ability is pressure) and not just be a U-Turn bot. I think that missing 70% of the time is so much better than clicking weak ass Air Slash or being chipped down by my own Brave Birds, especially because you're gonna get ALOT of opportunities to click Hurricane, and if you miss you have teammates to fall back onto.
Tera Dragon is just a general good tera type as it swaps around a lot of Corviknights weaknesses to resistances, specifically its really good against Wogerpon IME.

Ting-Lu is an essential part of this team. Despite me usually mocking this gens Special Attack receivers-- more notably the lack thereof good ones, the ones that exist are scary as FUCK for fat teams. A well-played Specs Kyurem, Lorb Etern, CM Kyogre, Helectrode, Landorus-I-- you get the point, will just DEMOLISH any wall you set in front of them, before they could be handled by Alomomola and Mirror Coat or Flip Turning into a breaker, but since that's not possible anymore I went to the next best thing; Chipping them down with fat boy ting and his Ruinations / Earthquakes, either 1v1ing them or then proceeding to pray that you win your Ditto Speedtie.
Is it ridiculous? Yes. Is it safe? Not at all. Does Ting Hog tera in literally every game? Kinda. Is it the best possible alternative? Probably.
RestTalk is by no means a new Ting-Lu set but I don't think I've seen it played in GG before I made this team, but it helps beat threats like Kyurem-W, Eternatus, or Helectrode Long Term, as you can heal off any damage they deal. The Tera type is fairy because I think that's generally the best neutral type into special attackers, but i changed it to anticipate what my opponent will bring, I.E, playing poison against someone I expected to play Iron Valiant, or playing Water against someone I expected to use Kyogre.

Saving the best for last, Hydrapple was, as I mentioned previously, the mon I started out the team with. Now that Alomomola's gone, I think that Hydrapple is the by far best Regenerator mon in the tier, and Regenerator is so useful on fat teams, I worry way too much about VoltTurn otherwise. Hydrapple is the main Wincon, as when the opposing team has been chipped down by Burns, Rocks, Knock Off, Hurricane, what have you, Hydrapple is easily able to clean up after a Nasty Plot. The bolstered Speed stat is also good for this, as pressuring out mons that would usually outspeed it, like Clefable, Ho-oh, and Necrozma-DM, makes it so much more difficult to deal with.
Its decent bulk + Longevity not only helps in checking threats like Ogerpon-W, Kyogre, and Garganacl. But it also means that, should you survive its onslaught, it can just switch out, recover, and attack again. This team is built to favour longer games and hydrapple is a huge part of that, slowly but surely picking off the opposing team. The EV spread is quite simple at first glance, near Max/Max, but I've taken out Ev's and invested them in Speed to let me hit 279 speed, which outspeeds Jolly NDM before a DD. Usually you would go faster on Hydrapple, 307, 318, I've even ran 330 and 352 before. However, on this team I value its bulk so much more, and between Arceus being faster than the 300s, Ditto kinda being faster than everything, and Clefable providing paralyze support. I think I can afford to go Slow.
Much like Ting-Lu, this Tera-type is very interchangeable and has swapped a lot, but I think that Poison is good as it's immune to Toxic, while helps a lot against Clodsire while also generally being good defensively-- Ground-types dont tend to appreciate Giga Drain, and if you see a Psychic-type, you can just swap into Ting-Lu, or Corviknight.
Interlude - Replays
Here are some replays of the team in action. These are all from open, as I've made the active decision to load this every round. If this RMT is posted before the tour is over, I will still be loading this every round-- please do not CTeam me, thank you.
Replays are attached to images, click to watch

The teams tour debut, facing a pretty scary mu with Kyu-W + Helec. But the rest of the team deals with Kyu-W, Hamurott and Ogerpon which lets fat ass ting-lu beat end game helec + pecharunt.

I have 0 clue who this guy is, I think he stole my team from replays which is frankly a huge compliment. Anyways this is included to show that it isn't me that's broken, its the team, as they use it to beat a competent player using a competent team.

Not the cleanest game between misses, crits and what have you but a pretty good replay of the team beating a "bad" match up, against stuff like T-spikes, and Jaw Lock Taunt RM.
Weaknesses
While the team is strong i think its not unbeatable, here are a few threats i can think of:
Special setup that Ting-Lu doesn't beat: Pretty self-explanatory, special attackers that outlast Ting-Lu can chip it down over games and threaten it down. ATP, you have to pray that you can critfish with Ditto or Hydrapple, Yellow Magic is also an option.
+
Offensive cores that overload Ting-Lu; Teams that carry two strong special attackers (Like Etern + Lando, or Kyu-W + Helectrode, etc) Can use one of their attackers to wear down Ting-lu to the point where it cant handle the other one. To prevent this i try to keep Ting-Lus HP in mind, while using other pokes with good type advantage or Arceus to beat the secondary special threat.
Substitute/Taunt; This team relies on status + Ditto to beat most set up mons, Substitute throws a wrench into that plan and forces me to play mind games, making risky plays or trading mons for chip damage. Similarly, Taunt shuts down my recovery and status moves, but usually ditto and hydrapple are able to apply pressure against taunt mons.
I am SURE theres more stuff this team loses to that I can't think of ATM, but yoloswag!
Parting Words
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Akira 153 for getting me to read Worm, obscenely good series, also thanks for making the banner art for this ^^. I'd also like to thank everyone that i discuss/test GG with: BoingK, Greybaum, fififlutters, AM, DeepFriedMagikarp, and probably many more than I'm forgetting. Particular shoutouts to sammy for giving me the idea to use hydrapple way back in seasonal (even though you used dogshit sticky hold LMFAOOO) and Racool for showing me how strong Defensive Ghostceus is. S/o to the OM community at large for being fun people to hang around and play the game with, OMPL is just around the corner and I am like 60% certain that I wanna play GG (bo3 looks pretty fun and I kinda wanna play aaa just to spite you losers for cutting inh in favour or a second aaa), I hope I get to play some good games for you all to watch.
