Overall less winners than usual, but given we're approaching the end of the meta, that's okay! Now we only really have two slates left, with the next slate beginning on the 25th. Enjoy until then!

:ss/sunkern:
Pokemon: Sanddern
Pet Mod of Origin: DLCmons
Stats: 90 / 100 / 80 / 66 / 80 / 96 (512)
Type: Ground Water
Abilities: Sand Veil / Dry Skin (H: Sifting)
Sunkern's Movepool plus Tackle, Sand Attack, Dig, Bubble, Sand Tomb, Lunge, Dive, Rain Dance, Earthquake, Sandstorm, Scald, Explosion, Gyro Ball, Bulldoze, Surf, Waterfall, Water Pulse, Aqua Ring, Rapid Spin, Spike, Brine, Ancient Power, Aqua Jet, Recover, Iron Defense, Camouflage, Reversal, First Impression, Heal Bell, Block, Stealth Rock, Iron Head, Liquidation, Thousand Arrows, Hyper Beam, Torment, Giga Impact, U-Turn, Icy Wind, & Knock Off but also minus Curse, Double-Edge, Earth Power, Encore, Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Leech Seed, Light Screen, Morning Sun, Seed Bomb, Sludge Bomb, Solar Beam, Swords Dance, Synthesis, Absorb, After You, Bide, Bullet Seed, Captivate, Cut, Endure, Flash, Grass Whistle, Grassy Terrain, Growth, Helping Hand, Ingrain, Mega Drain, Mimic, Natural Gift, Nature Power, Razor Leaf, Round, Safeguard, Secret Power, Snore, Sunny Day, Swagger, Sweet Scent, Uproar, & Worry Seed
When using the move dig or dive, the user may choose to switch instead of attacking on the second turn.
Reasoning: I may be biased but I love sunkern so in DLCmons when we did the regional variant slate I had to post a regional sunkern. I just love this little guy. I can't help but resub him.

:ss/plusle::ss/groudon:
Pokemon: Grousle
Pet Mod of Origin: Fusion Evolution UU
Stats: 90 / 100 / 90 / 110 / 94 / 92 (576)
Type: Ground/Electric
Abilities: Solar Panel
Plusle's Movepool + Groudon's Movepool
Immunity to Electric and Fire. If hit by a move of one of those types, raises special attack by 1.

:ss/plusle::ss/groudon-primal:
Primal Grousle
Stats: 90 / 130 / 110 / 160 / 94 / 92 (676)
Type: Ground/Fire
Ability: Desolate Land

1616768839996.png

Pokemon: Gifsterious
Pet Mod of Origin: Generation X

Type: Normal
Ability: Thoughtful
Present, Copycat, Mimic, Confide, Captivate, Celebrate, Play Nice, Metronome, Helping Hand, Follow Me, Wish, Healing Wish, After You, Reflect Type, Happy Hour, Hold Hands, Work Up, Dragon Claw, Psyshock, Calm Mind, Roar, Toxic, Hail, Bulk Up, Venoshock, Hidden Power, Sunny Day, Taunt, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Hyper Beam, Light Screen, Protect, Rain Dance, Roost, Safeguard, Frustration, Solar Beam, Smack Down, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Earthquake, Return, Leech Life, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Double Team, Reflect, Shock Wave, Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb, Sandstorm, Fire Blast, Rock Tomb, Aerial Ace, Facade, Flame Charge, Rest, Attract, Thief, Low Sweep, Skill Swap, Echoed Voice, Overheat, Steel Wing, Focus Blast, Energy Ball, False Swipe, Scald, Stealth Rock, Sky Drop, Dragon Pulse, Quash, Will-O-Wisp, Acrobatics, Drain Punch, Explosion, Shadow Claw, Brave Bird, Earth Power, Giga Impact, Zen Headbutt, Flash, Stone Edge, Volt Switch, Thunder Wave, Iron Head, Swords Dance, Fly, Hex, Bulldoze, Retaliate, Rock Slide, Megahorn, Dragon Tail, Natural Gift, Poison Jab, Grass Knot, Swagger, Sleep Talk, U-Turn, Substitute, Flash Cannon, Trick Room, Wild Charge, Surf, Snarl, Nature Power, Dark Pulse, Waterfall, Dazzling Gleam, Confide
Copies the type of the teammate in the last slot.
Reasoning: I saw this guy and I like him already. Basically budget Mew with a type illusion ability.

Pokemon: Snoxin
Pet Mod of Origin: DLCmons
Stats: 107 / 53 / 113 / 53 / 113 / 131 (570)
Type: Ice/Poison
Ability: Beast Boost
Screenshot_2021-03-29 DLCmons - Google Drive.png
Ice / Status / 8 PP / The target looses more HP each turn. The user recovers the amount of HP that the target looses.
(basically leech seed + toxic)
Reasoning: Snoxin is a bulky mon that is also fast unlike most. It has hazards, hazard removal, toxic, a really strong move in infection, & other utility. This pokemon is very good in DLCmons and is going to be even better when the Adventure's Pickaxe gets coded. I like this mon and am surprised Magmajudis didn't submit it.

I encourage people to just sub mons at this point. As long as they don't encroach on existing mons in the meta or aren't obviously broke, you should go ahead with them.

Pokemon: Locomortor
Mod of Origin: The Pokedex Redone V3
Stat Distribution: 85/70/120/95/70/50
Types:

Removed moves: Dark Pulse, Toxic, Pain Split, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Destiny Bond, Toxic Spikes, Curse
Added moves: Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Iron Defence, Autotomize, Body Press, Scald, Calm Mind
Abilities: White Smoke/Speed Boost (Misty Surge)
Competitive Overview: Loco, but that's how it goes. With Misty Surge, Locomortor is a status immune tank. With Speed Boost, it can become a slow pseudo Quiver Dancer.

:sm/guzzlord:
Pokemon: Guzzlord
Mod of Origin: Two-Step Mons
Typing:

Abilities: Massive*
Massive: Sets Gravity upon switch-in.
Stats: 131 HP / 127 Atk / 79 Def / 113 SpA / 59 SpD / 61 Spe (570 BST)
Movepool Additions: Stealth Rock
Competitive Reasoning: Guzzlord is Flaant's best friend. It sets Gravity, switches in on (some) pesky Fire type moves and nails Steel types that may bother Flaant. Outside of that, it's a Ground type that can bully the Poison types (or at least help facilitate that for other Ground types).

:ss/blastoise-mega:

New Pokémon Name: Galapagon
Mod of Origin: Mega Revolution
Stats: 89 / 93 / 110 / 100 / 120 / 68 (580)
Typing:

Abilities: Torrent / Mega Launcher
Movepool Additions: Stealth Rock, Ancient Power, Rollout, Stone Edge, Mud Shot, Meteor Beam, Sandstorm

A strong set up sweeper, Galapagon helps alleviate the somewhat mediocre Hyper Offense structure that Smash has to offer. Shell Smash can run Focus Sash, White Herb or if you are ballsy Power Herb Meteor Beam, varying how this Pokemon can play. It can also be a funny lead in the realm of Spikes Smash Cloyster sometimes serves on HO builds.

Pokémon
: Stoudrago
Mod of Origin: Fusion Evolution UU
Typing:

Stats: 150 / 120 / 70 / 85 / 70 / 85 (580 BST)
Ability: Doggy's Maw: Normal, Fighting and Dragon moves ignore immunities
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
Body Slam, Crunch, Dragon Claw, Explosion, Hammer Arm, Outrage, Return, Superpower, Wild Charge
Draco Meteor, Dragon Energy, Hyper Voice, Surf, Thunderbolt (idk maybe it can run a Special/mixed lure or something lol)
Dragon Dance, Thunder Wave

Stoudrago uses it's ability to help facilitate it's ability to break down potential walls, thanks to ignoring the common immunities that exist for its STAB.

PSA - The following Mods that you can submit from do not have any representation yet:
Generation X, The Pokédex Redone V3

Pokémon: Inteleon
Mod of Origin: Megamax
Mega Stats: 70 / 115 / 85 / 130 / 85 / 145 [BST: 630]
Mega Typing:

Mega Ability: Deep Focus (This Pokemon receives Focus Energy on switchin, but loses it when hit by an attack.)
Viable Moves:
- Cross Poison, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Sucker Punch, U-Turn
- Dark Pulse, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Snipe Shot
- Swords Dance
Movepool Additions - Cross Poison, Night Slash, Psycho Cut

Factoring in forms, Water is surprisingly the type with the least representation right now, so here’s a resub of two mons in one to fix that. Base form’s got a really nice speed tier, making for a great fast special attacker and pivot, while Mega is the fastest mon in the mod by a long shot, allowing it to make use of its weird mixed movepool to great effect.

:ss/hippowdon-f:
Pokémon: Hippowdon-Brazado
Mod of Origin: Gen X
Stats: 108 / 122 / 98 / 68 / 62 / 67 [BST: 525]
Typing:

Abilities: Strong Jaw / Hydration
Viable Moves:
- Aqua Jet, Crunch, Earthquake, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Jaw Crush, Liquidation, Psychic Fangs, Stone Edge, Superpower, Thunder Fang
- no
- Bulk Up, Slack Off, Yawn
Normally mons in Gen X recieve a full movepool after they get in, but I don‘t think this one ever did, so this may or may not be the full movepool. Also, Jaw Crush = Jaw Lock but Fighting-type.

An unusual offensively-leaning bulky Water than can use Hydration alongside Ares to stallbreak or take Strong Jaw for some really nice coverage. Jaw Crush is impractical, but if you’re confident in your predictions you can catch your opponent off guard with it and eliminate threats.

:ss/spectrier:
Pokémon: Spectrier
Mod of Origin: Perfect Galar
Stats: 110 / 85 / 60 / 145 / 80 / 100 [BST: 580]
Typing:

Abilities: Grim Neigh (Now acts as a special Intimidate clone.)
Viable Moves:
- lol
- Astral Barrage, Extrasensory, Giga Drain, Hex, Mud Shot, Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind, Disable, Substitute, Will-O-Wisp
+Astral Barrage, +Extrasensory, +Giga Drain, -Nasty Plot

Astral Barrage - Single-target 30bp move that hits 3 times when used by Spectrier or 4 times when used by Calyrex-Shadow.
Psycho Cut - 90bp

A fairly bulky offensive Ghost that doesn’t get shit on by trapper Tomb thanks to its bulk and Wisp. It does a nice job of coming in on special attackers like Alien and Vanilluxe, which is really nice for BO builds. Not much else to say here, just a strong mon.

53443528-E59F-4667-9517-55A030E9B35B.jpeg

Item: Nectar
Mod of Origin: Crossover Chaos
Effect: Bug-type Air Balloon clone, but not announced on switchin.

Allows mons like Alien, Hypnihil, and Joltry to avoid all of the First Impression running around if played carefully, and also shits in U-Turn spam.

Pokémon: Coyotalloy
Mod of Origin: DLCMons
Stats: 80 / 125 / 95 / 50 / 80 / 115 (545 BST)
Type:

Abilities: Iron Barbs / Intimidate / Sheer Force
Aditional Moves: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...g69navnSjsTOiRKn-MpqtawS3nvnFs0xRdEy/pubhtml# (Go to Slate 7 Movepools and scroll right until you see Coyotalloy’s Movepool)

Thanks to having good abilities good stats, and a great movepool, Coyotalloy can do many things, ranging from a CB Set, to a lead set. Also (this might sound a little biased) I subbed this here because I freaking love this thing, and I couldn’t help but sub it here.

Might add some more subs later

Type: Fairy/Fighting
Abilities: Dazzling, Swift Swim, Water Veil
Relevant Moves: Flare Up*, Play Rough, Close Combat, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Zen Headbutt (didn't get a full movepool in the mod)
Custom Elements: Flare Up - (Inflict -1 Def to target if its Atk < the user's; Otherwise, user gets +1 Speed.)

:vespiquen:
Pokemon: Vespiquen-Alola
Mod of Origin: DLCmons
Stats: 90/70/112/70/112/20
Type: Fire/Steel

Relevant Moves: Lava Plume, Will-o-Wisp, Cinders*, Stealth Rock, Afterburn*, Thunder Wave, Roost, Volt Switch, Flare Blitz, Iron Head, Power Trip, Shift Gear, Drill Run, Wild Charge, Calm Mind, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon
Custom Elements: Cinders (Sets up Cinders on the opposing side of the field (Cinders: 1 layer => 1/16 damage for grounded Pokémon, 2 layers => 1/8 damage for grounded Pokémon, 3 layers => 1/8 damage and burn for grounded Pokémon, grounded Fire-types are immune and absorb them. Burn immune Pokémon don't get burned),
Afterburn (Deals damage two turns after this move is used)
Polarize (Forces all Pokemon to randomly switch out with another Pokemon) (not mentioned because it's not a great move)

Pokémon: Dinodily
Mod of Origin: Roulettemons Ubers
Stats: 125/102/74/90/61/148
Type:

Abilities: Shell Armor/Delta Stream/Battery
Additional moves: Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Ice Shard, Zen Headbutt, Plasma Fists, Toxic Spikes, Blue Flare, Lunge, Spirit Shackle, Psychic Fangs, Icicle Spear, Ice Beam, Volt Tackle, Rapid Spin, Sunsteel Strike, Switcheroo, Superpower, Grav Apple
Confusion, Vital Throw, Thousand Waves, Mega Drain, Poison Powder, Mimic, Snarl, Spark, Howl, Submission, Feather Dance, Fly, Dark Void, Night Daze, Heavy Slam, Aurora Beam, Iron Tail, Blast Burn, Beat Up, Water Pulse
Reasoning: Look a lot of people have issues with this namely due to its speed and HP along with its steel/dragon typing. Those people have every right to have an issue with my child, but fuck it Dinodily is special to me and I will sub him. Months ago when I first subbed him I explained why I was attached to him so rather than restating myself I'll just quote to that.
Reasoning: To most people Dinodily was a mediocre pokemon in a sea of titans. You doubt me, well here's my initial thoughts on Dinodily.

Yeah I said it had a good name and not much else. Yet somehow my ironic love for this idea of a pokemon grew into something akin to a parental love. I gave Dinodily a sprite, granted not a particularly good one but it's the thought that counts. I hoped they'd win the slate they were in. They didn't. I would sometimes vote Dinodily on the roulettemon voting sessions when nothing else looked particularly good as a joke. When I requested my account be deleted, don't ask, and left pet mods for a while I came back specifically because Cookie Butter submitted Dinodily again, in hopes to rally more people to let them in. They lost again. For a while that was it. When I was feeling weirdly depressed, I held a "funeral" for them on the discord, because at a certain point I knew that there was no way they could be in anything. I didn't have a solo mod, roulettemons was over, and at this point my plans for Dinodily were to maybe make them into a mascot but like I don't stream or have a YouTube channel so that was out of the question. Then Aquatic opened smash mods again, my first thought was like "Can I put Dinodily into this.". He said that they'd have to win in order to be in. Then a pre-christmas miracle happened.

Not only did I learn that Dinodily is usable somewhere, but they could be submitted for smash mods! Which brings us back to now. While Dinodily was born from a roulette, I adopted them as my own, at this point Dinodily is kind of like my child. I am well aware that there is both a steel and a dragon type now, and I know subbing this right now is bad timing. I am well aware of how stupid this is, and I mean all of this, but please I just want Dinodily to win at something.
Since then Dinodily has been included in one mod, Item Factory, a short lived mistake of mine that in reality was a dumb idea with no real future. Dinodily was there simply because they could finally leave the depths of roulettemon ubers, and be used in a mod. Unfortunately item factory isn't coded and that's just because I have more important shit to do and don't really have the time to code it, and well if I am being honest I kinda don't think it deserves to be coded. Yet despite that this grey dragon dinosaur thing is the sole thing that motivates me to even try to code it. To me Dinodily is a creation that I hold deeply within my heart, and I know won't appeal to everyone but allow me to try and convince you for voting for it despite being historically bad at it.
  1. Dinodily being faster than everyone and having access to delta stream and the weather warrior crystal allows it to become a potent revenge killer.
  2. Dinodily having access to thousand wave, spirit shackle, and psychic fangs also makes it another way to deal with the gengar threat
  3. It can remove weathers quite easily thanks to delta stream
Yeah that's really all I can think of. Honestly this is probably a wasted effort. Like I said I have been historically not good at this.
