Hahahaha, take that fuckers. Waluigi isn't playable. If you were on the smash boards on nsider for a long time there, it you'll know how bad the waluigi debates were. Now disconfirm Daisy and we're set. And yay Stafy.
 
I need to get going to work so I'll make this short:

Stafy is cute but seems like Cyndaquil (does barely anything and usually gets killed)

Waluigi I'm very glad to see is not a playable character, thank goodness. I absolutely loathe the thought of a filler character like him getting any sort of playable moveset, but maybe once he has his own game we'll see.
 
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALUIGI isn't a playable character. :(

I wished so that waluigi was a playable character, and the character said their name in their voive. That would be awsome.
 
I like this update cause fans of obscure characters on smashboards just got owned. This was a decent update though considering we will be lacking content soon.

As of Christmas Eve, I believe we will be seeing a significant difference in the quality updates. Since that's one month exactly of the Japanese release date, there's probably going to be better updates to better bring up the hype in Japan. Once it's released in Japan though, I think I'm going to stop checking the updates on the Smash Dojo. There's probably going to be some information I don't want to see. Especially since it will only be less than a month before it comes out in the US.

Just my thoughts! Steelicks and I win on Coro Coro.
 
^ I doubt they would cut out Ganondorf if they're already cutting YLink out. besides, Ganondorf was one of the "big bad villains" in Melee.

Today's update was.. awkward? lol. the star thing is blah, and Waluigi is blah.. and always has been. xD

Oh well, i think he will scream "WAAAAAAALUIGI!!" when he pop out in the screen, just before kick you like he did to Mario.

I think i'll be doing the same as Sonuis, after Japanese release date just hidding from the dojo and boards alike, i hope people here use some spoiler tags or something xP.
 
Hopefully as the Japanese release date draws near, the few remaining really, really interesting bits of information (besides secrets that will be so until the actual release) will start surfacing. A month in advance, like Sonuis said, seems like a good guess.

When Brawl is released in Japan, I'm going to be avoiding everything remotely related to it online like the plague.

Also, I'm happy with the Stafy and Waluigi update. Two assist trophies in one day is pretty good and is an indication that they're not low on material to update with, since if they were, they'd certainly have made this update into two seperate ones. Plus, I'm glad that Waluigi is in the game but not playable. There's enough Mario characters, since the important ones are already present, and Waluigi has been a Mario spin-off character rather than participating in any of the 'real' games.

And, yes, he had better shout 'WALUIGI' when he appears or attacks.

Yeah, really after CoroCoro not showing anything (I was hoping for new screenshots... But no. :\) really, really makes Serebii look stupid. He was attention-whoring on the NOE boards about 'knowing info' from a 'secret source', making everyone go 'SEREBII SEREBII PLEASE TELL ME'. Arggg...

Odd thing, he says it is illegal to give out this information, why the hell does some chubby owner of a pokemon site get to know? ?_?
 
Yeah Daisy is basically another Waluigi. She only appears in Sports/Party spin-off games. Regardless, how could you possibly make it so Daisy weren't a clone of Peach? Daisy's things are flowers and...I dunno how you could incorporate that.
