Imagin the pokemon trainer at pokefloats xD
There's a strange clock coming out of the party ball.
Maybe pokemon trainer has another bird pokemon hey will call out so he can fly on it. Since his pokemon seem to fallow an Ash evolution I would guess it would probably be Pidgeot. Either that or he is a running leaping machine.
This is interesting

I still think PT has got legs of steel though. Try walking/running/biking around and through the US with little to no rest and back and tell me how your legs feel =).

Anyone who doesn't must be kicked in the balls. Hard.He approaches stealthily with lithe jumps, coming right in then slicing repeatedly. Awww! It makes you want to use him as a playable character.
Tails and Knuckles AT? Psycho Mantis AT?You never know what might happen in this world.
Got to be the 2nd one. Walking/biking through an entire country with no rest (other than the time he whites out) and then some has got to do alot of good for the legs.
And the PT doesn't necessarily follow an Ash-like trend. His model is based off of Red rather than Ash, and the Pokemon are varying levels of the Kanto starters, Charizard and Squirtle being the most popular forms of their respective evolutionary lines (I think) in Japan (rather than them being that way because Ash had them). If Ivysaur was a Bulbasaur though, I'd see your point.
