Iirc they're working on those on smashboards since cracking the snapshot files, they'll prob be doing it after cracking cutom stages.

Snapshots were cracked a while ago on SmashBoards. I've seen some really good ones here:

Yeah, the videos shouldn't take too much space up since they're only button presses and stuff recorded, but the 3 minute limit is still there for some dumb reason =[ It's my biggest complaint with the game.

I wonder why they started work on cracking Stage Builder files instead of movies. Wouldn't it have been smarter to go onto the movies?

Well don't the movies require emulation of the entire game engine to function properly, if they're a set of commands? I can see why they'd put Stage Builder before that.

Besides, there's a 3 min. limit on movies saved in Brawl, whereas you can just buy a capture card or whatever and record however long you want. Wolt, I'd be cool if you got a capture card, maybe you could even record some of the matches we're going to have :O

Its gonna be weird after the game comes out after we spent such a long time talking about it in this thread, always seemed like it would never come out and here we are less than a week away, sadly this week will be slow for me, it always is when I have something to wait for.

I know the feeling Llama; it's like some grand illusion. In less than a week, we'll be smashing & bashing! :D

Quickie question: Does anyone know if the 450 (vs) matches to attain every character have to be within the Brawl arena, or can you also accomplish this task within the Special Brawl arena?

(If the Special Brawl matches count, then I've got a surprise for all of you guys, but that's only if it applies.) ;/

I can tell this picture will me some sort of SSB meme sooner or later ~_~

Finally my GameStop figured out what's going on (I guess less than a week before the tournament is better than not at all), so I finally managed to sign up for the tournament.

For everyone asking if two people on one Wii can play online: Of course they can. They showed that exact scenario in an entire Japanese commercial.

The voices sound just fine, even if Wolf's is a little odd here and there. I'm glad they kept Lucario's dialogue, since I would have been severely pissed if they changed him into another generic, mindless Pokemon. Not every single Pokemon should be restricted to grunts or just their name; many of them are as intelligent or more so than any human and many have telekinetic abilities, so why the Hell wouldn't they be capable of learning a language?

I purchased a Gamebridge, so I'll be able to record videos straight from my Wii without needing to bother with the SD cards and whatnot.

Edit: For syncing Wii Remotes, the only problem I've had was with one remote that refused to stay synced, which Nintendo told me to send it to them and they replaced the remote, which now works fine. All of my remotes are always constantly synced to my Wii and I've never had a problem.

I notice the description doesn't say it's compatible with Wii. Are you sure it will work?

It doesn't use anything fancy. It's nothing different than plugging in the red/white/red cables into a VCR. It doesn't matter what system it is.

Yes, you can. Stamina, one HP with a flower equipped gets everything very quickly.

I would buy one now, but I'm not sure how they work or which ones are good and which ones aren't. Any help in the department would be greatly appreciated.

does anyone have any wallpapers or stuff for brawl, i need to update my computer background

going back on-topic, i am debating about getting a capture card but like Wolt have no idea about which 1s are good or not, much less how to use them.

Speaking of wallpapers, does anyone have the image of all the characters arranged together about to fight? People over at smash boards you the individual images from it a lot and I just wanna know where to find it.

Anything with composite or S-Video output will work with the GameBridge. It doesn't differentiate between products. Just remember that it can display 30fps max so it's not very useful for playing Brawl normally unless you're splitting the connection so it displays on your TV and through GameBridge at the same time.

All I know is, Brawl's soundtrack is EPIC. The music in Omnigamer and Pyro's battles was beyond awesomely awesome.

How do I go about doing that?

Pfft, that's nothing. I can manage that. Thanks.

Actually, just to be sure. Once I have the Gamebridge, the video splitter, the two S-video cables and the Wii s-video cables, how do I put them together? I could probably figure it out myself when I have the pieces right in front of me, but I figured I'd just check to be sure.
