Well, you need to take a Knock Off to the face anyways. As for the EV spread, i will share my personal favorite (made by me 3 monts ago). Relaxed Nature (innovation n_n) with 44 Defense (gives Sharps little chance to KO you), 100 Sp.Def (allows Specs Modest Hydreigon to have a slighty bigger chance to KO you) and 108 Sp.Atk (2HKO sylveon, a thing that already did with max sp.atk).

Calcs are here:
  • 108 SpA Aegislash-Blade Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 100 SpD Sylveon: 102-122 (50.4 - 60.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252+ SpA Choice Specs Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 100 SpD Aegislash-Shield: 144-170 (86.2 - 101.7%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO
  • 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 44+ Def Aegislash-Shield: 143-172 (85.6 - 102.9%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

Sounds good! :) I will definitely credit the spread to you once I start using Aegislash for reals and update RMT.

By the way, with 252/44/108/100, you're missing 4 EVs :O

Hey everyone, I have updated once again!

Skarm_Steel -Thank you again for that wonderful EV spread! It has worked wonders for me, and I am eternally grateful to you for it. :-)

My team is really starting to become solid (especially thanks to more practice and exposure), and at the rate the RMT is going, I may only update a few more times. Though, maybe a bit more sporadically, with big things going on in my life. So the adventure on this thread may soon be coming to a close :-( Nonetheless, I'll probably be back for an RMT of my brother's team, which I am helping him with currently. Anyways, please rate my team, answer the poll above, and thank you so much for any feedback you have!

A few lingering questions remain:

Are there any threats I still need to worry about that I haven't covered already?

Can better changes or team additions be made?

What is the best Speed IV for Aegislash, especially considering the VGC 2015 Metagame Speed Tier?

Honestly tho, Aegis must run almost no speed IVs due to the fact that it has to be the slowest on the field. Y'know, to use the Shield Form on his favor, and then retaliate with a powerful attack. I've heard of people that runs enough speed to outspeed Sylveon but those sets commonly run Iron Head, so it's not that reccomendable

Kk, thanks!

So ill make the change to speed.

Also, was the 112 special attack evs for Aegislash crucial?

I played with the evs, and found 252 HP 76 Def 24 SpAtk 156 SDef always survives thre LO adamant knock off and specs modest dark pulse. Always 2HKO. And it still gets the 2HKO on Sylveon with Max HP before Weakness Policy boost.

Yeah, in defensive terms is better but when it comes to offensive is terrible:
24 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 44 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 78-93 (45.8 - 54.7%) -- 52% chance to 2HKO
112 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 44 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 84-99 (49.4 - 58.2%) -- 96.9% chance to 2HKO
24 SpA Aegislash-Blade Flash Cannon vs. 248 HP / 68+ SpD Togekiss: 102-120 (53.4 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (consider the fact that most run Sitrus)
112 SpA Aegislash-Blade Flash Cannon vs. 248 HP / 68+ SpD Togekiss: 104-126 (54.4 - 65.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 24 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 12 SpD Mega Charizard Y: 114-135 (74.5 - 88.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 112 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 12 SpD Mega Charizard Y: 121-144 (79 - 94.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Well, you get my march. I thought you could eventually miss some KOs there and doing that for defense will kinda change Aegis' role. But it really doesn't change the calcs that much so i guess it's worth a try n_n It's mainly to have a bigger chance to KO landorus after the +2:

+2 112 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 44 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 166-196 (97.6 - 115.2%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
+2 24 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 44 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 156-184 (91.7 - 108.2%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
