Okay, popular pokes I don't like. Well:

Meh, not really that special:
Dragonite (Though I do have to admit in online battles it's pretty decent)
Electivire (And at the same time I find Magmortar a bit underapperciated)
Heatran (Great ass Pokemon competitively, tho)
Snivy-line (I never use this in-game (Generally either Lilligant or Leavanny) though in BW NU Serperior can do work with it's CM set)

Ughhh:
Ferrothorn (Though like Heatran it's great in online battles. Just find it to be ugly and being a bit awkward to train in-game)
Umbreon (Only because it's annoying as fuck in online battles (When you face one); plus in-game it's bad (In Gen 2 and 3, it couldn't even use it's STAB; In future gens it's a pain to raise (Besides, just go for Espeon unless you're using another Psychic-type))
Frogadier (It's just way too derp-ugly for my tastes)
Keldeo (It just looks stupid and why it's event-only I won't understand; Though like other Pokemon, in competitive play it's pretty decent)
(And some i forgot)

And I liked Lilligant and Omanyte/Omastar before they were mainstream (And I still do like both).

(Still want to know if the Genies (Tornadus, Landorus, Thundurus) are considered hated or liked)

I'm not going to lie, even though I like him now, because of that artwork, my first thought was, "It looks likes he's wearing an ugly pair of sweat pants." That pic is the reason I name my Talonflame "Sweat Pants".

I also like Mega Houndoom because he looks like Gamzee from Homestuck, and Sandslash. It's probably the coolest Pokemon when you remove all the popular ones and maybe Bisharp. (I know that's removing most of the cool ones, but I stand by that.)

As for what I dislike that others like, Gen 6 made me think I was going to quit Pokemon. (It took 11 days of looking at spoilers from Serebii out of curiosity to cave in and get Y) Early on, I was hoping there would be something that would help redeem in in my eyes, but then Talonflame was spoiled. I've said my first impression about him already. Amaura is my most despised Pokemon. It looks like something from My Little Pony, and as someone who took a month to get sick of mlp, Amaura literally makes me cringe.

Edit:
From first impressions alone, Aromatisse got a lot of hate from an aesthetic viewpoint. To the contrary, I quite liked the design and it really grew into me in time. I don't why but all those pink and purple fuzziness appealed to me somehow.
xy-aromatisse.jpg

I mean look, she's adorable, fabulous, and scandalousss!

It also helps that Aromatisse was an MVP in my first X&Y playthrough.

At first I hated the fairy type and the pokemon based of cotton candy and perfume. When their evolutions were revealed the perfume was forgiven because I liked its evolution a lot. Also, I find it amusingly questionable that Aromatisse's cry sounds like a moose.

golurk.gif

I really don't know why I like Golurk so much, but I do. I love the overall design and typing (3 immunities is pretty sweet), considering the fact that this thing can literally fly. I'm just sad that this thing is pretty bad outside of NU, but I still like using it otherwise.

tropius.gif

Flying tree dinosaur with banana chin? Great....... but seriously, Tropius is pretty cool all around in my opinion, flavor is awesome, typing is pretty unique outside of Shaymin-S and Jumpluff, and unfortunately not bulky enough to warrant usage. Maybe Mega Tropius with Thick Fat like Mega Venusaur? O wait...

hariyama.gif

Y u no good? Hariyama was overall really cool last gen in RU, and I only put it here since it might be dropping to NU. The design in general is awesome, and the movepool and bulk is really something, but it just didn't cut it for the higher tiers, which is a shame since it looks cool (#SmellingSalts)

tornadus.gif
thundurus.gif
landorus.gif

OK, these things look exactly the same. EXACT SAME MODELS AND ANIMATIONS. Probably my least favorite legendary trio ever, the Therian formes were very nice additions tho.

cloyster.gif

I don't get how this is a thing. Cloyster is pretty popular in both OU in UU with the mindset of players being (I can instantly win if I set up a Shell Smash) only to be destroyed by an opponent's attack. Though I'm not saying Cloyster is a bad Pokemon, just the mindset of most ladderers I've seen with this are pretty dumb. Also, this thing looks pretty dumb imo (disregarding the similarities to a specific genitalia).

Negativity time? Alright then...

Never liked Charizard from a design standpoint, not as a kid, not now. Awkwardly long slender neck on top of round chubby stomach. Two tiny knobby arms dangling uselessly on the side.

Add in the fact that he gets TWO mega evolutions for no conceivable reason other than blatant favoritism. Every starter should be roughly equal, that's what makes the choice between the three starters meaningful. GF just had to ruin that by making Charizard special.

If you couldn't tell by the terrible avatar...I like Ferrothorn for its design. (from what I've gathered a lot of people like Ferro competitively but not aesthetically) <3

I like how ridiculously stalwart it looks, I like how it hangs from the ceiling in Gen V, and I like how unique its body plan looks. It's an alien flail monster that looks like it can take anything you throw at it and dish it back out, and honestly I like that a lot.

My team of Pokémon that don't get the love they deserve would be something like this;

335Zangoose.png
250px-430Honchkrow.png
295Exploud.png

272Ludicolo.png
250px-217Ursaring.png
250px-080Slowbro.png

Not super-underground, but all these Pokémon are super cool (IMO), but don't get close to the attention they deserve.

A lot of starters got alienated with megas. Why does only Blaziken get one in gen 3? What about the gen 2, 4 and 5 starters? I think GF is starting to treat them like regular Pokemon now as you can catch some in the friend safari.

Thing is, I can easily see the rest of the starters getting their mega forms in time.

...but unless every single one gets 2, Charizard is still favored.
But on the other hand, every starter getting 2 Megas would be... really over-doing it

Something tells me that way in the future, when every starter mon gets their mega form. Charizard will STILL be a cut above the rest by being the only one who has two forms.

A pokémon I like that others don't is surely Wingull, even if in the beginning I didn't like this pokémon myself. It's just that after my two first nuzlockes, I had to play with him every time. My friends told me at that time I had the Wingull's curse and I'd be forced everytime to play it in nuzlocke in every game it exists. Even if for the next nuzlockes, wingull didn't show itself, I ended liking it. (In the other hand, I hate its evolution)

On the other hand, a pokémon I hate that a lot of people like is Scizor. Everybody around me liked it a lot to a point that I began to find that a cliché to like scizor. Adding up that Steel is my least liked type, I ended up hating Scizor.

One Pokemon that I've never seen the love for is Volcarona.
Volcarona.gif
Genuinely, all I ever see it do is come in, take half damage from Stealth Rocks, then die the same turn it uses Quiver Dance.

And what about that high level required for evolving it? Or the fact that you need to grind it to level 100 in order to get one of its moves? Way too much work for something that rarely gets to even attack.

Guys,

This is coming dangerously close to a post count ++ thread which we try and stay away from. Please do not just post a bunch of images and say yay or nay.

Please explain why you think said mon is great etc... Also elaborate on why you think certain Pokemon are more or less "likable" than others. I'll be monitoring this thread for quality posts and deleting anything which is simply a line along the lines of a few over this page and the last page. Add some substance :)

Time to make a list of which unloved Pokemons I like and dislike ( Sorry btw but there are alot of these kind of Pokemon and making a long description for each of them would take my whole day so I just made a short description for each of them ). First of the Pokemons I like that don't get alot of attention: ( Watch out long list )
055MS.png
I already explained why I like Golduck somewhere in this thread.
057MS.png
I basically love Primeape because when I started playing competitively in generation 5 NU Primeape was on my team and he was probably the best Pokemon of many matches with his good speed and decent attack stats. Primeape was also really funny in the anime and his design is just funny in general with the pig nose.
006MS.png
You may be thinking why is Charizard of all things here. Well I am probably the only one who thinks this but Charizard seems to be a bit overhated, it is either you love it or you hate it and alot of people seem to hate it just because they preffered Blastoise or Venusaur or they thinks generation 1 is overrated. Personally I like Charizard and I think people shouldn't hate on the fact that other people chose it as their first starter.
031MS.png
Poor Nidoqueen seems to get overshadowed by her brother Nidoking. I always preffered Nidoqueen because with the both the Nido's only having an average speed stat extra defenses can really help out. Nidoqueen also is quite strong even with base 75 special attack because of her giant movepool and Sheer Force.
062MS.png
I don't really know why I like Poliwrath but I do. Probably a combination of his funny design, balanced stats and being available in almost every Pokemon game, also helps that Poliwag is easily catch able and can be found early in alot of Pokemon games. However Poliwrath doesn't get alot of attention from the Pokemon fanbase which is pretty sad because it is a fun and diverse Pokemon to use.
071MS.png
While I am not sure if Victreebell is a Pokemon I should be putting on here because it does has alot of fans I am putting it here anyway. I like Victreebell because Sunny Day is a fun weather to abuse and Grass and Poison are some of my favorite Pokemon types. Victreebell is also a beast in Sunny Day teams because of it's high attacking stats, good movepool, Weather Ball and Chlorophyll. Bellsprout is also a badass.
103MS.png
People hate Exeggcutor because they are eggs, that is all the reasons most of the time and I think EXeggcutor is over hated. The Pokemon fanbase usually doesn't give Pokemon with weird designs a chance ( you will see that later on ) which I think is not a right reason to hate a Pokemon. I like Exeggcutor because it is extremely powerful with base 125 and 95 special attack and attack receptively and it is a Grass type which is my favorite type. Give this dude Leaf Storm and almost anything will die in one or two hits.
110MS.png
While Weezing is by no means a hated Pokemon and it does have a decent sized fan base, I am putting it here anyway. Like with Primeape I had a Weezing on my first ever competitive team and he could take hits like a boss while dealing back decent damage. Aside from that there is also Weezing's design which, while probably not something you want to smell it looks funny.
128MS.png
The main reason I love Tauros is nostalgia. Tauros has always been a cool but impossible to catch Pokemon but in the end was always worth it. Tauros was the first Pokemon I EV trained and while I didn't use it in my first NU team it was still a Pokemon I used when battling against friends and tough in game opponents. While Tauros like with Weezing doesn't get hate it certainly doesn't get the love I think it deserves which is why I am putting it here.
171MS.png
While Lanturn again doesn't get alot of hate it certainly isn't a fan favorite either. While you may think other Water Pokemon like Milotic and Slowking are better Lanturn also has an added Electric type and Volt Absorb which makes it a unique Water type. Rotom Wash kind of stole it's typing in generation 5 but Lanturn still has Volt Absorb and some support moves like Heal Bell which Rotom Wash didn't have. Lanturn also gets Sucker Punch for some reason which is weird but cool.
186MS.png
Ever since Drizzle has been nerfed Politoed has been somewhat uncommon in OU. Politoed is a Water type with balanced stats and a decent movepool that never really got attention until it's hidden ability Drizzle was released. However I liked Politoed before generation 5 as it was an adorable Water type with balanced stats and it had some unique moves like Perish Song and Encore. I don't really have a good reason to like politoed but dammit let me like Politoed just for the sake of liking it.
205MS.png
The main reason I like Forretres is because I used one in Pokemon XD Gale Of Darkness and he was a real help to the team. If my team ever got into problems I could just send out Forretres and heal up my whole team while Forretres was just sitting there taking hits and chewing on his Leftovers. Forretres also used to be good in competitive play when Defog didn't exist yet. Forretres may not be hated like other Pokemon in this thread but it isn't a fan favorite either.
241MS.png
People usually remember Miltank because of Whitney and that is the only reason why Miltank become one of the most hated Pokemon of all time. However ever since I saw Whitney use it I wanted one myself because it was just so annoying to face. While I never really got a Miltank until generation 4 because it was so rare Miltank still remains as a good go to Pokemon in the lower tiers for me.
211MS.png
While some say Qwilfish is just another mediocre fish like Basculin and Lumineon I always found Qwilfish to be a lot better than those. Qwilfish can either use Swift Swim in the rain and become a deadly sweeper or set up Spikes with it's hidden ability Intimidate. Ever since I used Qwilfish I have been fond of him and he will always remain one of my favorite Pokemon.
319MS.png
Even though I skipped generation 3 Sharpedo has been one of my favorite Pokemon ever since I saw it. Like with many Pokemon on this list Sharpedo isn't really hated but it doesn't get much attention which is why I am putting a lot of Pokemon on here. Sharpedo looks like one of the coolest Pokemon there is which is the main reason I like it and Speed Boost also made it OU viable which is cool.
340MS.png
What can I really say about Whishcash. It is a Pokemon that almost everyone including myself forgot about but I recently used it in NU and it was fun to use. Dragon Dance which it gets for some weird reason makes this thing quite scary and with it's dual Water Ground typing and can set up a Dragon Dance without too much trouble. It may not have a great design but it is fun to use which is why I put it here.
409MS.png
Rampardos while not getting much hate as you have heard with other Pokemon before also doesn't get much attention which I find sad. The main reason I like Rampardos is because of it's kick ass design and huge attack stat. With Rock Polish this this is extremely good for a late game sweeper. I don't really have much to say about it other than that but I still like it.
419MS.png
You have heard it before blablabla not hated but blablabla not alot of attention. Anyway I mainly like Floatzel because I used one in Pokemon Diamond and it was a reliable team member. It also took down some of the scariest in game Pokemon like Cynthia's Garchomp. While Floatzel may not be that great in competitive play it is still a Pokemon I enjoy using in my Sinnoh play though's.
429MS.png
Mismagius is a Ghost type overshadowed by the likes of Gengar and friends. While the main reason I like Mismagius may be because of 4th gen UU I still think it is a cool looking design with good enough stats to use it. It is also one of the few Pokemon i trained to level 100 before Pokemon Black and White.
435MS.png
So remember with Exeggcutor where I said Pokemon got hated only because of their design, yes Skuntank is one of them. Skuntank may be a skunk but for a skunk it a quite adorable and cool looking. People hate it's design but I just really fail to see what is wrong with it's design because they made a cool looking skunk which is a pretty difficult task. Skuntank is also fun to use in NU because you can easily throw it on most teams and it will make your team better.
437MS.png
Bronzong has always been overshadowed by the likes of Metagross and Jirachi as a Steel Psychic type but Bronzong has always been my favorite. While it's stats may be the worst out of the 3 and it's movepool isn't anything great either it is still a Pokemon that can set up Stealth Rock, do some damage and go boom which is pretty cool. Bronzong can also be named pothead and I like naming stuff pothead.
442MS.png
Dammit this thing is impossible to get in Diamond and Pearl but it was worth it. Availability aside Spiritomb is a reliable Pokemon with good stats and a movepool that does what it is supposed to do. I ahev fallen in love with this thing ever since I started playing gen 6 RU and it's Calm Mind set just wrecks face because it is quite easy to set up Calm Mind and keep on setting up and Resting up if you need to.
454MS.png
Toxicroak is a Pokemon I briefly used in BW OU but it was never that good because I kind of sucked at competitive Pokemon back then. However when starting my Pokemon X playthough I decided to give it another shot and it really pulled through. It may have gotten nerfed this generation but I still like Toxicroak.
460MS.png
There is really only one reason I like Abomasnow, Abomasnow reminds me of a Christmas tree. I could already imagine myself receiving presents from Abomasnow and putting Christmas light around his neck. Joking aside Abomasnow is a solid Pokemon to use in RU and it's mega evolution make it a great wallbreaker. It's ability is annoying though if you are using it in game.
485MS.png
Heatran seems to get quite a lot of hate for being a unneeded and lame legendary Pokemon but I think the opposite, it is my favorite legendary Pokemon. I use Heatran on nearly all my OU teams because you can easily fit one on your team and it never gives disappointing results. Heatran is also a cool looking Pokemon with it's lava body and mean look.
488MS.png
People hate Cresselia for one big reason, it just doesn't freaking die. Cresselia is often one of the most hated Pokemon to face but I like to use Cresselia because it is just a sold wall. I rarely use Cresselia though because a lot of people just forfeit when they see one.
500MS.png
Wow this thing gets way too much hate and I don't know why. It is another Fire Fighting starter Pokemon, who cares it is a good typing and it is the most original out of the 3. It looks ugly, whatever it has a fiery beard of awesomeness and it is a badass pig. Bacon, bacon is delicious so why are you mad. While Emboar wasn't my starter in Unova it is my favorite out of the 3 and I don't think the hate it gets is justified.
549MS.png
Liligant is again another Pokemon that doesn't seem to get a lot of attention. While it's movepool may only be Grass, Grass, random support moves and Hidden Power it's still usable with it's solid stats. Liligant also has a neat design and it kind of looks like fruit. My favorite type is also Grass and guess what type Liligant is. All in all Liligant has alot of things I like about Pokemon which is why I like it so much. Shame it is a Pokemon White exclusive Pokemon.
547MS.png
Fighting Whimsicott is a pain in the butt but using one is a whole different story. People generally hate Whimsicott because it is a pain to fight which is understandable. However the support WHimsicott can give to it's teammates with Tailwind, Stun Spore, Taunt, Encore, Leech Seed and Memento is just fantastic. Whimsicott still sucks to fight though and also noobs stop suing Substitute + Leech Seed it is pretty bad lol.
539MS.png
Sawk is a Fighting type that is outclassed by every other Fighting type similar to Flygon and Dragon types but it is still a solid Pokemon on it's own. The only reason I really like Sawk is because I used one on my first Black play though and it was a great team member. Not much to say about it really.
561MS.png
Sigilyph is certainly one of the more weirder Pokemon designs but it works pretty well for Sigilyph. People might hate it's design but it looks sort of funny with the flappy wings and the Unown like eye on it's body. Sigilyph also has passable stats with a huge movepool consisting of one but not limited to Air Slash, Roost, Heat Wave, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball, Psycho Shift, Air Cutter, Psychic, Psyshock and Solarbeam. All in all Sigilyph is a cool Pokemon that just needs a little more attention from the Pokemon fan base.
567MS.png
One word, Defeatist. People generally don't use Archeops because of Defeatist but it just seems that people focus on Defeatist too much. Yeah sure it may not have great defensive stats but with it's high attack and speed stats it will almost never come to defeatist range because it kills to opponent before it has a chance to attack. It was the main star of my Pokemon Black team and to this day is still one of my favorite Pokemon.
576MS.png
Gothitelle may be ugly but if you get past that you will find a great Pokemon that just seem to get a lot of attention. Even then it's design isn't really that bad but it takes some getting used to. I like Gothitelle because of it's hidden ability Shadow Tag which is one of the best abilities in the game and makes sure the opponent can't flee the battle. Gothitelle has passable stats along with a all around good movepool which makes it a great Pokemon and one Pokemon I like.
579MS.png
Same with Charizard you either love it or hate it. Some people hate it because it is based of whatever something disgusting which is the main reason. However like with Skuntank it's design is good despite what it's based off. Reuniclus is also a great Pokemon as it can either set up on your face with Calm Mind or go with Trick Room and be a great sweeper.
601MS.png
So we are back to Pokemon that get hate because of their design again, Klinklang this time. Klinklang is one of my favorite Pokemon, no kidding because it is just so fun to use. The Pokemon fan base hates this thing because it is just a bunch of boring gears but I would say they are quite adorable and funny looking. I am training a Klinklang right now and it is a fantastic Pokemon that people should really give a chance.
621MS.png
Druddigon is often seen as one of the weaker Dragon types but with base 120 attack I would like to disagree. Unlike other hey click Outrage and watch me win Dragon types Druddigon is actually a versatile Pokemon. I don't have much to say about it other than it wrecks face in RU and you should try it out. Go away use it now.
673MS.png
Gogoat actually has a fan base and doesn't get that much hate so I am not sure if it is good on this list or not but I will go with it anyway. Gogoat is quite the versatile Pokemon as it has quite a few unique moves like Horn Leech and Milk Drink and has stats to back it up. It is fun to use and I used one in X that was really fun to use.

Now for the ones that I don't like that just seem to get the attention I don't think they deserve:
012MS.png
I don't really hate Butterfree but it just seems to get too much attention for a boring regional Bug type. I blame Ash for making Butterfree popular but I still don't hate Butterfree, I just think it gets more attention than it deserves.
078MS.png
Meh. While it isn't exactly the most popular Pokemon out there it does get a lot of attention. This may all be because I am not a fan of horses ( we had horses and they were so annoying ) but my point still stands. Out of the Fire types it isn't exactly a great Pokemon either.
097MS.png
Some people like the fact that it is creepy but I just really think it's an ugly Donphan. I don't really hate Hypno like most of the Pokemon on here but I don't like it either. Sorry Hypno but you succeeded in being creepy which is why I don't really like you.
107MS.png
With Hitmonlee being my absolute favorite of the Hitmon trio Hitmonchan is one Pokemon I don't really care about yet it gets a lot of attention. Hitmonchan has always been an ugly and weird Pokemon to me and while this does kind of go against what I said about bashing Pokemon for it's design I think Hitmonchan could have been more original and give Hitmonlee a bit more competition.
133MS.png
Ok I am gonna confess it right here I don't care for pre evolutions at all. Why would you want to keep your Pokemon so weak instead of letting it go super sayan and evolve it. Out of all the first stage evolutions Eevee has to be the most discussed one. I do like some of the Eeveelutions like Vaporeon, Jolteon and Espeon but Eevee just seems to get too much attention.
175MS.png
Ok I am gonna confess it right here I don't care for pre evolutions at all. Why would you want to keep your Pokemon so weak instead of letting it go super sayan and evolve it. Out of all the first stage evolutions Togepi has to be the most discussed one. I do like some of the Eeveelutions like Togekiss but Togepi just seems to get too much attention. Just copt everything I said about Eevee and done.
251MS.png
I do like Celebi but I don't think it should deserve the amount of attention it gets. For starters it is almost impossible to get without cheating and often other Pokemon in your team are well established before you can get one. There has been a recent event with Pokebank which also gave me a Modest 4 IV Celebi which I am thankful for but I still think Celebi is a bit overrated.
257MS.png
While Blaziken is a great Pokemon and even had to be banned I just don't really care for it. Compared to Infernape and Emboar I just don't like Blaziken that much. His design looks like the posterboy for KFC and we all know how food Pokemon turned out. Furthermore I always chose Treecko so I never really got the chance to use Blaziken. I can't really say it is bad battle wise but in game Blaziken isn't that great with all the DAMN WATER.
258MS.png
Don't get me wrong I like Swampert but Mudkip seems to get more attention than Swampert which is unfair. Pretty much what I said about Eevee and Togepi applies to Mudkip and with having Treecko as my starter I never really had the chance to use Mudkip.
282MS.png
Ok I hate this thing and I am gonna rage about it right now. When I was thinking about Pokemon's for this list Gardevoir was the first one that came to mind for me so let's a rage. It's design is extremely weird and it look like Castform put a melon on his head and stuck a curtain in it's butt. Humanoid Pokemon should ahve never existed in my opnion and Gardevoir is basically the main humanoid Pokemon which makes it even worse to me. In game it is also outclassed by the Abra line because evolving Abra to level 16 isn't as painful as evolving Ralts to level 30 to make it slightly more useful. It's only advantage to Abra is that you don't need to trade it to evolve but I personally never had problems with trading. Speaking of the Abra the Gardevoir and it's pre evolutions are an incredibly ripoff and not a good ripoff like Gigalith or Salamence. Alakazam can do everything Gardevoir can but better. Gardevoir can actually take a hit, bullshit with that low defense and hp. At least Alakazam has the speed to outspeed stuff. Gardevoir has Thunderbolt, well not like Alakazam needs it. Everything that Gardevoir can do Alakazam or another Psychic type does better. In competitive play Gardevoir is also useless without it's mega stone and Gardevoir's mega stone just makes it look even uglier. Combine all of this and you just have one fan favorite Pokemon that I can't understand why it even gets any love.
350MS.png
Ok so I don't hate Milotic at all, in fact I kind of like it but there is one thing that makes me dislike it. Fighting this thing wheter it is owned by Cynthia or Tower Tycoon Palmer is just a pain. Most Grass and Electric attack are special so you most likely won't 2 hit KO Milotic with it's amazing special defense. Even then Milotic can Hypnosis your only Pokemon of that type and be a douche. But if you somehow get it to low HP it can always use Recover and bam start all over. I just mainly hate this thing because it made all my 4th gen battle tower losses but it is still annoying to face.
385MS.png
Random Pokemon you have flinched! Need I say more.
424MS.png
Ok this thing is way too much used in a bad way by unprofessional players and it just straight up annoys me. You pretty much know when it is gonna Fake Out and U Turn and people use it the same way each and every time. Every team also has a counter to it without even trying wheter its a Ghost type, a Rock type or a Steel type. It has Pickup for Leftovers though which is nice.
491MS.png
I really like Darkrai, so why is it on the list. Well first of all it is way too common in ubers and predictable like Ambipom. Second I just think the attention it gets is just a bit too much. Dark type in itself is a cool but overrated type but with Darkrai being one of the few Dark type legendary Pokemon it received a lot of attention for just existing. I don't really have a reason to put it here but I still did anyways.
487MS.png
Same boat as Darkrai, I like it but it just seems to get too much attention. Like with Dark Ghost and Dragon types also get a lot of love and Giratina just so happens to be both of those types. However the reason I don't like it is because way too many people use it in ubers. It is good but not as good as the usage it gets. That is about my only reason to think it is overrated but I am putting it on here anyway.

Like I mentioned before I am not a fan of first stage evolutions. Samurott is cool but I never really cared about Oshawott. Sure it is cute but really that is about it. It isn't overly strong, it doesn't learn that many moves and even for a first stage evolution it has poor stats. However Oshawott seems to get more attention than Samurott and the awesome Dewott which I don't think it deserves.

Sorry but I just don't really care for Meloetta. Out of all the legendary Pokemon ever created Meloetta seemed the most pointless to me. Meloetta had no backstory aside form something small with a song or something small but that is it. It is even more sad when you realize all the other legendary Pokemon in Black and White all had a backstory and a reason for them to exist. Meloetta has an alright design but it is nothing I would consider super special and it is a bit boring for a legendary Pokemon. The same goes for battling, it is good but nothing special. Overall I just think Meloetta is a bit boring for my taste especially with gen 5's awesome Pokemon roster.

Don't get me wrong Talonflame is a cool bird but it just seems to get too much attention. It is not like it is the first good early game Flying type since we had Staraptor in Diamond and Pearl whom I prefer over Talonflame. It is a solid Pokemon in OU but I just don't care for it much.

Malamar never really appealed to me. It's design look pretty weird like a Squidward upside down and it's stats are also poor. Contrary is cool but it is also the main reason I dislike it because it is an overrated ability. Superpower + Contrary sounds cool but with poor stats like Spinda it just fell into NU.

Damn that took a while to make. Also are these descriptions long enough or do I need to say more about them.

Don't really like Smeargle that much in the games. It's pretty good with combinations like Spore, Imprison, Transform but to do that it will have to level up with a weak moveset or have lots of Rare Candies used on it. Or you could use Lock On+OHKO move, but its defense and special defense will still be weak. Okay in Pokémon Showdown though (loads of combinations... but whether it will SURVIVE is another matter).

As far as Pokémon I like but others don't... Kyurem-B and Kyurem-W. From a design standpoint, everyone hates them because they're "ugly" or some such. Personally I feel their designs actually add a bit more philosophy and insight to the Tao trio as a whole, which makes me absolutely adore them.

Pokémon I hate but others love? ... Pichu. And Cleffa. And Igglybuff. There was no point to these, the Pokémon they're babies of were cute, weak and early-found enough, I just hate these things because they do nothing but pad out the Dex.

So DHR-107 mentioned elaborating more and my post clearly wasn't so here I go trying to make something better, focusing on my current favorite, Castform. I've been thinking about it over the last day anyway because of this threat so it's as good of a time as any.

As I think about Castform, I realize it's probably not too popular because it's another in a long like of weak gimmicks that just get pushed aside. I mean, we have the likes of Ditto, Unown, Delibird, Spinda, Cherrim, Plusle, and Minun to compare to, and none of these are any more than interesting in very small niches, with most being useless. Castform fits in quite nicely there, as terrible stats across the board pretty much stop it from working anywhere. And yet I love the thing.

I admit, I'm biased. I do study meteorology, so a weather-based Pokemon is perfect for me. It's an aesthetically fun Pokemon: Being able to change type based on weather conditions is really cool, if quite gimmicky. It's not too good at any role, even in-game, but if you want to play with three weather moves and Weather Ball, you can try it. If you want to focus on one and build around that, you can do that. Castform in Sun is a Fire-type with Ice Beam, and in Hail it can be an Ice-type with Flamethrower, which is really cool. You could even just give it four attacking moves but that kind of gets away from its gimmick and kind of ruins the point. It's certainly not something you use to dominate everything, but it's hard not to smile when your little Castform summons Thunder down from the rainy sky and knocks out that nasty Gyarados or whatever.

I love Castform, and its cute, but I HAVE to get this out of my system.
WEATHER BALLS.
If you look at Normal Castform's design, it has two balls as part of its body.

Wigglytuff because PMD 2.

But outside of the poll,I kinda like Dusknoir and Bronzong.

The main reason I like Dusknoir is because it has been valuable in Nuzelockes and competitive play.(it actually can be viable in ou). It's diversity is amazing, able to utilize trick room, defensive, offensive, and choice banded sets.

Now for Bronzong.I like Bronzong because.......yeah IDK.I just like it for some weird reason I can't describe.
