Gigalith is an excellent check to Exploud, as it takes little damage from Boomburst, which Exploud is going to be clicking in most situations. Even if Exploud predicts a switch, Gigalith is barely 2HKOd by Focus Blast, and can switch out to a teamate who can tank the hit from the choice-locked Exploud. If Exploud is locked into Boomburst, Gigalith can comfortably set up Stealth Rock, Toxic one of its teammates, or use its surprisingly powerful STAB Stone Edges to deal some damage. While Gigalith cannot comfortably counter Exploud, it does an excellent job checking it, and with support from its team, Gigalith can easily mitigate the damage Exploud does over the course of a game.

Gigalith really doesn't care about repeated Boombursts.
252+ SpA Choice Specs Exploud Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gigalith in Sand: 188-222 (50.2 - 59.3%) -- 78.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
While this move hits Gigalith hard, it is far weaker than Boomburst for other Pokemon, and Gigalith can easily switch out into a teammate that can take a Focus Blast.

Porygon2 can only be 2HKOd by Focus Blast after Rocks, which requires the Exploud player to click Focus Blast (rather than Boomburst like it wants to) and hit both. It's an excellent special sponge, just make sure to pair it with a remover to stop Spikes from overwhelming it and a Knock Off absorber to make sure it can maintain its bulk.

Goodra is a very strong check to Exploud, as it can eat any one attack even with Rocks up, outrun and OHKO with Draco Meteor. Only a check as it does still take upwards of 50%.

Toxicroak is a check to Exploud, it can't switch on Boomburst nor Fire blast but thanks to it's higher speed tier, it can easely OHKO Exploud with a drain punch.
What separate Toxicroak from other faster fighting types is that, if Exploud is locked on either Surf or Focus Blast you can use this opportunity to set-up a Sword-Dance since Toxicroak is immune to Surf and takes little damage from Focus Blast.

Check. Plain and simple, good boy Lycanroc takes out either Exploud (Modest or Timid) with an unboosted Close Combat. If you're feeling bold enough, you could come in on a Boomburst or Fire Blast but I wouldn't. Just bring in Lycanroc safely and SpecSploud drops!
