Hi Smogon, I'm particularly new to the whole competitive battling so I'm not very knowledgeable or good. I always thought an offensive Ferrothorn would be cool and someone (by the name of LightningLord2) in the OverUsed Forum had a post about a good core with offensive Ferrothorn. After a bit of playtesting, I made a few minor changes. Both teams have links at the bottom if you want to test them yourselves.

I started of with Ferrothorn+Dracovish+Mimikyu. Dracovish covered Ferrothorn's quadruple weakness to Fire types and Mimikyu dealt with Ground and Fighting types. Band Dracovish destroys any pokemon not immune to Fishious Rend and Ferrothorn K.O any pokemon with a water-stopping ability.

I had no hazard setter so my first thought was Bronzong, which was able to destroy MB Hatterene with Gyro Ball.

I wanted a pokemon that can have a lot of coverage and out speed a lot of other mons and Zeraora have the ability to be a mixed sweeper with physical moves like Close Combat and Play Rough and special moves like Aura Sphere and Volt Switch. Zeraora also K.O sweepers like Cloyster and tanks like Hydreigon.

For the final Pokemon, I wanted someone with U-Turn so Hawlucha was my pick because Unburden Hawlucha K.O threats like Cinderace and Bisharp. Hawlucha is also able to set up Tailwind for Mimikyu to out speed its threats like Gengar and Dragapult.

After a few matches I switched the team up a little bit.

But then I switched Bronzong out with Mamoswine because it have Oblivious so Taunt doesn't affect Mamoswine's ability to set up Rocks and it also destroy MB Hatterene with Heavy Slam.

I switched Hawlucha for Mandibuzz because it is able to tank with its incredible bulk and is able to provide Tailwind to Mimikyu as well.

Mimikyu is the late game sweeper when all the holes have been poked. When you use SD, it is able to deal with most mons endgame. Even early and mid-game, Mimikyu is able to kill many Dark types and have priority over other types that aren't immune to Ghost.

Mamoswine brings SR and can finish off low mons with Ice Shard. Heavy Slam is for Fairy types that threaten Dracovish and for Terrakion and Tyranitar. Protect is just so Mamoswine can gain heals from leftovers.

Zeraora is an early-game sweeper and Expert Belt helps OHKO and 2HKO mons who are bulky. Being able to out speed many mons with an outstanding base speed 143, it can dish out super effective attacks with little to no consequences. Play Rough is for Dark Types, Aura Sphere is for Rock, Ice, and other Fighting types. Volt Switch is to switch out to make favorable matches. Knock Off is for taking off Choice Items and Eviolites.

Mandibuzz serves as a tailwinder or defogger and a check to dark and ghost types. Foul Play helps it beat physical Aegislash variants while U-Turn keeps the momentum going. Roost is for sustainability while Defog is for hazard control. Leftovers are for getting some more heals with Roost.

Okay so there are a lot of things to say about this team. Firstly, the 6 pokemons together aren't that bad I have to say. The problem comes from the sets mainly.
The dracovish set is good, this pokemon is really in the meta and is able to destroy a lot of teams which are not prepared to it.
Ferrothorn AV, even if it's sounds good like that there are big points who are saying that it is a bad idea, ferrothorn is a pokemon who needs recovery with leech seed, the biggest advantage of playing ferrothorn is having spikes up which is not possible with this set. I propose you to play the standard defensive set which is way better than this one in my opinion.
Mimikyu's set is okay overall, the only thing I would change is to put swords dance on it, mimikyu without any boost is not hitting hard on teams and really needs a swords dance up to be a threat imo.
I do not think that mamoswine is a good defensive mon, he has a very bad defensive typing but offensively he has one of the best typing so playing mamoswine in a defensive way is losing some potential, I propose you to play it Life Orb with rocks with an offensive spread of course. (even if I think choice band is way better in this generation).
Zeraora's set even if he is probably not the best sounds like fun and playable to me, but playing volt switch over plasma fists and aura sphere over close combat is once again a loss of potential I think.
Mandibuzz's set is good tho, the only thing I would change is the spread which is not very optimised.

Here is my review of the team let me know if you don't agree with something I've said or if you need help to change it.
