Victini can serve as a viable switch in to calm mind Clefable, resisting moonblast and flamethrower while 2hkoing it with v create. It doesn't take all that much damage from thunder either (Edit: My bad, +1 thunder deals slightly under half). This set utilizes meteor beam and power herb to take down Victini while still keeping the basic attributes of calm mind Clefable. This set isn't perfect, as it sacrifices soft boiled to make room for meteor beam. But after a calm mind on the switch, Clefable can get a guaranteed OHKO on Victini with meteor beam, opening up room for Pokemon like scarfed Kartana and making bulky steel types like Ferrothorn or Corviknight more confident in switching in.

Calm mind clefable normally runs 60 speed evs to outspeed uninvested Corviknight. The reason I have 40 special attack evs is to not get screwed over by low rolls.

Clefable is at +2 here because you'd use calm mind when the opponent goes to victini, then get the meteor beam boost on the next turn.

While victini is similar to everything else in the regard that it doesn't want to switch into the choice specs ghost type with 140 base attacking stacks, doubly so since it is weak to shadow ball, it actually revenge kills in a pinch.

It wins in a 1v1 scenario and a revenge killing one against blade form due to the staggering power behind v-create, as well as if a choice specs aegislash locks into a move not called shadow ball: even shadow sneak only does up to 36.9% to a 0hp/0def victini

CM Clef rarely runs Flamethrower cause Thunder hits Pex while crippling Tran + Melm with potential para.

This set is relatively simple. The very first thing you think of when looking at Hydreigon is it's quad fairy weakness. Clefable lives most hits from +2 Hydreigon and OHKOs it with a moonblast. Flash Cannon Hydreigon with nasty plot fixes this issue. I actually used to run a scarfed set with flash cannon to kill Alolan Ninetales on the switch, but that set can't deal with Clefable nearly as well. A nasty plot set fits much better as a Clefable lure because you won't have to rely on predictions and you actually OHKO Clefable after a nasty plot. You'd normally run life orb but if you don't want life orb recoil, expert belt is an alternative option. Leftovers aren't recommended because it doesn't guarantee the OHKO (Unless you're a psychopath who uses modest Hydreigon).

Ah yes, another day, another opportunity for lando-t to flex his versatility, with the bonus of probably being the first mon here that isn't an unset.

Now, standard spD lando-t does nothing to clefable: with eq only doing up to 41% with eq to the given spread, let alone if it runs more defence EVs, and clef being completely immune to his passive damage in stealth rocks and toxic. However, given the ability to boost up alongside clefable, lando-t becomes destructive, even at +2 it 2hkos with stone edge, doing up to 98 with eq:

Actually used this a few weeks ago and claimed a few :clefable: kills, along with victimizing a few :tapu fini: and :tapu lele: who seem to be under the impression that the panda is simply going to click close combat.
