[OVERVIEW]
Oricorio-E's access to both Quiver Dance and Taunt alongside Roost means, unlike other setup sweepers, it can repeatedly beat common counterplay like Haze, Toxic, Encore, Whirlwind, and Trick. Its typing is also a huge boon in this department, as it's immune to Klefki's Thunder Wave and resists popular physical attackers' STAB moves like Mienshao's Close Combat and Breloom's Bullet Seed while blanking Flygon's Earthquake entirely. On top of that, since these Pokemon are often Choice-locked, they can become setup fodder for Oricorio-E. However, Oricorio-E must have two turns to become fully set up, as many Pokemon that are faster than it like Mienshao, Munkidori, and Inteleon often carry Choice Scarf and can still outspeed it after one boost. It also struggles to get much done versus offensive teams because they excel at outspeeding and overpowering Oricorio-E before it can amass enough boosts. Flying-resistant Pokemon like Iron Thorns, Diancie, and Copperajah are also big roadblocks for Oricorio-E.

Set Details
====
Air Slash circumvents Brambleghast's Wind Rider unlike Hurricane, and greater accuracy is preferred to higher power, as Oricorio-E can simply amass more boosts to compensate. Taunt is preferred, as Oricorio-E's sweep is easily stopped by status moves like Toxic, Roar, and Trick, and Oricorio-E is also typically tasked with having to take out bulkier Pokemon like Umbreon, Gastrodon, and Sylveon, so this helps block recovery as well. However, on builds that can already comfortably handle bulkier teams, Oricorio-E can opt for Revelation Dance to have a second STAB move to throw off, letting it deal with Haze users like Vaporeon and Milotic and opposing Oricorio-E more easily. Heavy-Duty Boots lets Oricorio-E not worry about Stealth Rock, but Grassy Seed can be run on Grassy Terrain teams to ease setup. The given EV spread allows unboosted Oricorio-E to outspeed Brambleghast and Porygon-Z with the rest put in Defense to help with setup. Tera Steel gives Oricorio-E resistances to common attacks like Inteleon's Ice Beam, Dragalge's Draco Meteor, and Cinccino's Tail Slap, and it also eases setup by providing a Toxic immunity. In contrast, Tera Fairy provides a strong defensive typing that maintains Oricorio-E's resistance to Fighting-type attacks. If Oricorio-E is running Revelation Dance, then it should opt for Tera Ground, as this lets it hit Iron Thorns, Diancie, and Copperajah, which otherwise resist Air Slash, super effectively.
As most Oricorio-E sets run Air Slash as their only attack, Flying-resistant foes like Bronzong, Diancie, and Copperajah can stop it from sweeping. However, these checks lack reliable recovery, so they can be easily overwhelmed by wallbreakers such as Sylveon, Porygon-Z, and Toxtricity or setup sweepers such as Galarian Articuno, Cinccino, and Trick Room Diancie. These partners are especially effective when used alongside entry hazard setters like Klefki, Flygon, and Swampert. Lures like Iron Head Incineroar also synergize well with Oricorio-E, as they're good at surprise KOing its checks like the aforementioned Diancie. Pokemon that pressure these checks such as Chandelure, Flygon, and Mienshao are also appreciated because they can force them out, racking up hazard chip on them as they try to come back in. If it runs Grassy Seed, Oricorio-E requires Thwackey as a partner, and it appreciates Terrain sweepers like Grafaiai, Sceptile, and Hitmonlee because the former two can wear down Steel-types, while the latter can easily take them out. Revelation Dance sets, on the other hand, prefer to have partners like Heracross, Sylveon, and Choice Band Flygon that are better at breaking through bulkier teams.

Other Options
====
Oricorio-E can run Hurricane for more breaking power, but it then gets completely walled by Wind Rider Brambleghast, especially if it lacks Revelation Dance. Oricorio-E can also run a support set with Air Slash / U-turn / Roost / Defog, but this is generally considered a waste of its other talents due to there being better options for entry hazard control.
Checks and Counters
====
**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Registeel, Copperajah, and Bronzong can wall Oricorio-E, and when against non-Taunt sets, they can set entry hazards, phaze it, and start boosting themselves. Klefki is notable as well due to Prankster giving its status moves priority, meaning Oricorio-E must Terastallize into a Steel-type to avoid a Toxic Orb poisoning from its Switcheroo. However, Taunt shuts all of them down, barring Klefki, and both Registeel and Copperajah must be cautious of Tera Ground Revelation Dance sets.
**Rock-types**: Diancie walls Oricorio-E and forces it out with Diamond Storm or Meteor Beam. Because of this, it can typically take advantage of its free turn and set up hazards or Trick Room. Iron Thorns walls Oricorio-E as well, and it can take advantage of its free turns with Dragon Dance. But, these Rock-types must be cautious of Tera Ground Revelation Dance, as it easily deals with these threats.
**Powerful Wallbreakers**: Strong wallbreakers like Chandelure, Dragalge, and Staraptor have enough power to overwhelm Oricorio-E early on, and because of this, they can effectively stop setup. However, once Oricorio-E collects enough boosts, these Pokemon are no longer adequate answers.
