Specially Defensive (Iron Treads) @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 248 HP / 248 SpD / 12 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off / Ice Spinner
- Volt Switch / Stealth Rock

[SET COMMENTS]
Iron Treads's amazing defensive typing, access to incredible utility moves, and decent defensive stats let it function as a specially defensive staple for many teams. Rapid Spin lets it support Stealth Rock-weak teammates like Chien-Pao and Ogerpon-H by removing entry hazards. Knock Off punishes switch-ins like Corviknight and Great Tusk by removing their Leftovers or Rocky Helmet, whereas Ice Spinner punishes would-be switch-ins like Garchomp and the Landorus formes. Volt Switch gives Iron Treads the ability to pivot and provide its teammates with momentum, while Stealth Rock offers valuable role compression. Bulletproof grants it immunity to Shadow Ball from Gholdengo, Weather Ball from Moltres and Zapdos, Pyro Ball from Cinderace, and Focus Blast from Deoxys-S, making Iron Treads a great switch-in to those Pokemon. 12 Speed EVs and a Jolly nature let Iron Treads outspeed Zamazenta at +1 and maximum Speed Modest Gholdengo at +0.

Iron Treads is best suited for more offense-based teams due to its subpar special bulk and lack of reliable recovery, which it makes up for with much-needed role compression. Iron Treads excellently complements physically defensive RegenVest Manaphy, as Iron Treads can check Zapdos, Latios, and Gholdengo for Manaphy, while it checks Chien-Pao and Great Tusk for Iron Treads. Physical attackers like Zamazenta, Roaring Moon, and Great Tusk pose a problem for Iron Treads; therefore, physically defensive partners like Pecharunt and Skarmory are appreciated. Primordial Sea partners like Zapdos, Ogerpon-W, and Primarina are helpful to deal with Fire-types like Iron Moth, Heatran, and Ogerpon-H that can destroy Iron Treads with ease.

Earth Power can be used over Earthquake to deal more damage to Great Tusk and Pecharunt, but the higher power of Earthquake is generally more appreciated. An mixed attacking set of Magic Guard + Life Orb with Steel Beam and Earthquake can be used due to its potential to break through Great Tusk and Swampert relatively easily, but this is a very niche set that struggles to break through Corviknight and Manaphy. Immunity abilities can be used to cover for some of the weaknesses Iron Treads has: Earth Eater for Great Tusk, Ting-Lu, and the Landorus formes; Water Absorb for Manaphy and Primarina; and Well-Baked Body for Iron Moth and Heatran. Bulletproof sets can run Assault Vest if not running Stealth Rock for the extra bulk against strong special attackers like Zapdos, Deoxys-S, and Latios, but without Leftovers, Iron Treads lacks any form of recovery.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Attackers**: Physical attackers like Roaring Moon, Zamazenta, and Chien-Pao easily destroy Iron Treads with their STAB moves.

**Ground-types**: Great Tusk, Ting-Lu, and the Landorus formes block Volt Switch and can demolish Iron Treads with Earthquake.

**Strong Special Attackers**: Strong special attackers like Choice Specs Latios, Gholdengo, and Deoxys-S can break through Iron Treads's non-RegenVest set with their STAB moves due to Iron Treads's low special bulk and lack of recovery.

Since Iron Treads' has an amazing defensive typing, access to incredible utility moves, and decent defensive stats, lets it functions as a specially defensive staple for many teams. Rapid Spin lets it support its teammates especially rocks weak offensive breakers, you could pair this with volt switch bringing said breakers in by removing entry hazard. Knock Off punishes switch-ins like Corviknight and Great Tusk by removing their Leftovers or Rocky Helmet, whereas Ice Spinner punishes would-be switch-ins like Zapdos Garchomp Zapdos is punished more through knock and volt switch and the Landorus formes. Volt Switch gives Iron Treads the ability to pivot and give its teammates momentum, while Stealth Rock is a great option to wear down threats like Latios, Deoxys-S, and Chien-Pao. unnecessary, rocks wears down everything Bulletproof grants it immunity to Shadow Ball from Gholdengo, Weather Ball from Moltres and Zapdos, Pyro Ball from Cinderace, and Focus Blast from Deoxys-S, making Iron Treads a great switch-in to those Pokemon. 12 Speed EVs and a Jolly nature lets Iron Treads outspeed Zamazenta at +1. You also outspeed modest gholdengo which is why its worth running jolly

Iron Treads is best suited for more offense based teams due to its subpar special bulk and lack of reliable recovery, making it unable to last on the field for an extended amount of time. which it makes up for with much needed role compression. Iron Treads complements excellently with physically defensive RegenVest Manaphy, you could combine this line with the following one about skarm and pecha as Iron Treads can check Zapdos, Latios, and Gholdengo for Manaphy, while it checks Chien-Pao and Great Tusk for Iron Treads. Physical attackers like Zamazenta, Roaring Moon, and Great Tusk pose a problem for Iron Treads, therefore physically defensive partners like Pecharunt and Skarmory are appreciated. Fire-types like Iron Moth, Heatran, and Ogerpon-H can destroy Iron Treads with ease, so Primordial Sea partners immune to Fire-type moves like Zapdos, Ogerpon-W, and Primarina are very helpful.

Glalie's is QC 1/2
Mine is QC 2/2

Solid work once again, most of the edits whether grammar or contributing thoughts were quality feedback. One thing I would suggest is potentially just adding more additions for some of the comments like the modest gholdengo comment since that is actually important information whereas some potential writing changes can remain as comments like you did.
