[Overview]

- Good support movepool.
- Decent base 95 Attack.
- Good ability, odd typing, bad defenses.
- Often looking to boost its bad base 70 Speed.
name: Trick Room
move 1: Trick Room
move 2: Stealth Rock / Explosion
move 3: Stone Edge / Zen Headbutt
move 4: Earthquake / Zen Headbutt

[SET COMMENTS]
- Pretty much just set up Trick Room and Stealth Rock then switch out
- Stone edge and earthquake have great coverage, but Zen Headbutt works fine for dispatching common fighting- and poison-types.
- If a teammate has Stealth Rock, you can run another move of your choice.
- Explosion lets Solrock hit an opponent hard and bring in a teammate to abuse trick room at the same time, and should be used over Stealth Rock if Solrock isnt leading often.
- Deathly scared of taunt, and theres no real way to avoid this problem.
- Focus Sash if you’re a lead, leftovers if you aren’t
- EVs for a good addition of strength and a fair addition of bulk
- Pokemon that rely on trick room to sweep, such as octillery and rampardos, make great teammates
[SET]

[SET COMMENTS]
- Why aren't you just using something else that can Rock Polish?
- Oh, right, this one can baton pass.
- (Arguably) better bulk than Ninjask and better move coverage
- Lures out and escapes from its counters.
- Stone edge for STAB; can use Rock Slide if you hate the accuracy.
- Earthquake for coverage.
- Good teammates are Pokemon that require more Speed to function (Exeggutor?).
- Appreciates Ground weak teammates so it can switch in safely.
- Iron Defense is an option, if you swing that way.
- Can pass Substitutes for protection against status and for sponging attacks
- Can set up Dual Screens
- Explosion got a nerf since DPP, but it’s still usable
- Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers
- Can Baton Pass Calm Mind and Cosmic Power boosts
- Gravity can do all sorts of things! (Beware though, it activates Solrock’s ground-type weakness)
- Choice Band
- Alomomola sponges all of Solrock’s attacks and Waterfall’s it to its doom
- Exeggutor is able to come in on Trick Room, before outpacing and destroying Solrock with STAB Grass-type attacks.
- Most pokemon with U-turn can be a worry; Solrock can either stay in and be heavily bruised by a super effective attack, or switch / baton pass out and lose a large amount of momentum
