Hello, I'm back with hopefully a more refreshing take on a Solomod, one that focuses less on randomly banning stuff or randomly adding stuff from later Gens and instead focuses on an existing metagame with some OM-like shenanigans. Without further ado, I bring you
[Gen 3] OU: Totems (No, not the Alola totems)
In this mod of [Gen 3] OU, nickname your Pokemon another Pokemon's name. This gives you net 25 pts of stat changes, replaces your Ability with the "Totem Ability" if your Pokemon is shiny, gives you an "Innate Move" that is run as a fifth move, and the ability to run one move (the "Totem Move") from a selection of 3 new moves. For example, nicknaming your Gyarados "Tyranitar" gives you +15 Atk, +10 Def, +5 HP, +5 SpD, -10 Spe, Sand Stream if shiny, Rock Slide, and the ability to run either Earthquake, Fire Blast, or Crunch. If you don't nickname your Pokemon, you'll still be affected by the stat changes and pick up the fifth move. Pokemon generally don't receive moves I deem overpowered like Baton Pass, Spikes, Rapid Spin, boom, sleep, burn, stat-boosting moves, phasing, Taunt, or recovery. Dugtrio Totem is banned in OU because of Arena Trap, and Magneton Totem is banned in OU because of Magnet Pull.
Additionally, these Totem Abilities can only be Totem Abilities once:
Levitate
Natural Cure
Intimidate
