Alright, this has become massive like expected, and I'm happy to see all the nominations. However, let us remember that this list is supposed to be for the BEST games of all time, not every game we've ever played. I'm not targetting anyone in particular since I had a lot of entries myself, but let's try to keep nominations to games we feel deserve to be in the top 25/50/100/whatever we come up with. I mean, no offense to the poster, but what the hell is Viewtiful Joe??

I understand that shmups are a niche genre, but as a fan of them and being important to video game history, Galaga should not be the sole representative of the genre on that list. Not a fan of Touhou or Ikaruga but if others want to put it on the list, you are welcome to, but I wanted to raise awareness of it.
