I'm not from the sprite team so I am not a source for this, but I'd guess that Terastal mons would just have an icon above their name to signify the gimmick being in effect. I obviously can't say for sure, but it just makes sense that the sprite team wouldn't be bothered to make 18 variations of every mon in the dex wearing hats

I would imagine the hat being an icon, but I suppose just crystalizing every Pokemon would still be a unnecessary humongous task

Probably not, unless it has a form changing gimmick for certain pokemon like Megas and Gigantamax does.

I've sent the sprites over to the Showdown person who implements them. So they should be on Showdown once they do their thing.

Can't wait to see all of the Gen. 9 sprites as they come in. There's so many new Pokémon I'd love to see in sprites.

Also, where will we see the links for the Gen9 Sprites. On the existing Gen8 Sprite Spradesheet or on a new ones? This one does not have any Gen9 data in it (At least the starter Pokémon and the Paldean Wooper). Otherwise great work.

The link to the spreadsheet will be accessable via the gen 8 spreadsheet just like the gen 6 and gen 7 ones are. I will also post a direct link on the first post of the thread.
I'll make it accessable once the game is out since we have the names of unrevealed pokemon and some people might not want spoilers.

It appears that according to some users on Bulbagarden Discord, the NatDex numbers on the Gen9 spritesheet for Gen9 Pokémon other than the starters are mostly incorrect because they use the Internal Numbers from the datamines, not the official Nat.Dex numbers.

I know. It's just the internal data order, which has a bunch of order errors with gens 6 through 8 as well. However as we don't yet know the official nat dex order, that's the order we're using for now until further reference. I'll correct it once we get the official order.

Not currently for spriters. Only for animators are open, just you need to DM G.E.Z. or Antiant first

There is no battle value for the other forms, so no, not for smogon
